We don't need a higher credit limit or higher taxes. We need to cut the damned government! Cut the spending! Cut the stifling regulations! Cut the taxes!! Cut it NOW!! Not ten years from now, not five years from now, not two years from now, CUT IT NOW!!
Get the government out of our pockets, out of our faces, out of our business, off our backs and OUT of our lives!!
Set our people free, turn them loose and let them go back to work and produce, free of government intervention, free of government thievery and free of government harassment!!

No, I do not expect the bills to pass the senate or be signed by the president, but I do expect the congress to pass a deeply cut budget anyway! And pass it again if it’s blocked by the socialist democrat senate or vetoed by the Marxist president. And keep passing and keep cutting right up to election day! And do not pass an increase in the credit limit! Cut up the credit cards!!

This isn’t the first time Allen West has taken some questionable stances. First term and already running straight into DC’s welcoming embrace.
Agree with the sentiments, but not the solution. Getting a clean Balanced Budget Amendment out of Congress is the eight ball we need to watch. Getting that would be a strategic victory worth having.

Connie Mack has a plan that would work. It isn’t getting much press and it isn’t getting any attention from the RINO establishment.
Mack’s plan would cut $7.5 trillion, cap federal spending at 18 percent of the economy, and balance the budget in eight years.

The 1994 Congress was able to pull Clinton, kicking and screaming, to the right, and get several important pieces of legislation passed and put into law. Most of them have been nullified either by subsequent Congresses or by neglect, but they did begin a revolution which resulted in the large job increases shown in the chart in post 13. This Congress has to hold Obambi’s feet to the fire. Use his own words from when he was in the Senate. Use the jobs charts. Pound on the fact that this bloated federal government is spending $10 billion dollars a day, and borrowing $4 billion of that. Use the “L” word – Obambi, Reid, Pelousy, and the rest of the Democrats are lying to the American taxpayers.
Since the MSM is in the tank for Obambi, use some of your war chest to save America instead of your own silly backsides. Buy up gobs of radio and TV time to compare America under Marxist Democrat tax and spend rule to a fiscally conservative smaller government that serves via the Constitution instead of using it for toilet paper. There are plenty of examples of government waste. Fill the TV and radio waves with daily government waste reports. Be sure to point out the Democrat who supports that waste, like Reid’s cowboy poets. The unions are always on the airwaves crying that Armageddon will occur unless they get they’re way. Time to get in their faces and let the American people know how much waste is due directly to those unions. Tell the American people how comparable worth rules force taxpayers to pay greatly inflated prices for every government contract. These are but two small examples of thousands. Stop talking about how you are afraid of a government shut down and tell the American people that Obambi is lying when he says that he can’t cut retirees checks. If those checks don’t go out, it’s because Obambi didn’t want them to go out. He is using the retirees as cannon fodder in this battle. Tell them!! Stop worrying about reelection and LEAD!
If Obambi and the Democrats can get their Marxist butts off the pot to do anything to shrink government, then just cut the current government, NOW, the exact amount needed to service the debt. Each time we come up against a monitary wall, CUT it some more in order to service the debt. That's the way we have to live, you should live likewise. Stop using my taxes to buy your reelection via gimmies!
Know this, anyone who supports an extension of the debt limit will have a serious primary challenger, and yes, this is a threat!

When “real” people lose their jobs or are over budget, they can’t promise the grocery store or the bank, “We’ll be making cuts over the next few years and get you paid then.” So why does the US gov’t think they can??? Oh yeah, because they’ve been doing it for years.
