Gov Rick Perry Supporter and pollster for a SuperPAC that supports Perry is the Herman Cain source
Fox News Insider ^ | 11/2/11 | Greta Susteren

I don't know if there is more than one source or not, but, according to Politico, Chris Wilson, a Governor Perry supporter and pollster for the super PAC that supports Governor Perry, worked at the National Restaurant Association and is the (a?) source for the Cain/sexual harassment story.

He said the episode of harassment occurred in a public restaurant in the 1990's and that many people knew about it. What is WEIRD about the Politico story and Chris Wilson, is that Chris Wilson would not or did not say what happened. The only reason that omission catches my attention is that sexual harassment is a rather “fluid” concept. Some actions are OBVIOUSLY sexual harassment and some are NOT – and are merely actions misinterpreted or exaggerated.

Hence I would like to know what it is that people (Chris Wilson) say Mr. Cain did. Of course because Wilson is also a Governor Perry guy, his remarks (accusation) should be looked at with a discerning eye – and it is all the more important that he provide more information about what he claims Mr. Cain did.

You are so full of ****

Perry just explained the border and instate tuition for “SOME” illegals on hannity’s show.

He said That the states have their balls in a vice by the FEDS on these issues and that the states have to make difficult decisions within those parameters.

He continued to explain that if he went to DC he would take a wrecking ball to these restrictions.

“I wanted to like Perry. Alas, the more national exposure he gets, the less I like what I see. I guess I’ll have to throw him in “No way in hell I’ll vote for him” pool with Romney.”

Something most of us Texans have known for a decade. Never judge a governor solely by the success of his state. Remember Huckabee in 2008.

Then I heard a tape of some unknown guy calling a radio show in Oklahoma telling the host he had witnessed the harassment, and it was serious, and would end Cain's campaign when all was revealed. When asked by the host to detail what happened, he refused. Just said how serious it was. Don't know this guy's name, just another anonymous guy, making another anonymous accusation.

That wasn't an unknown anonymous guy that was Chris Wilson. The guy this thread is about. The guy that Politico just fingered as their source.

Monica Crowley on Sean Hannity just nailed it a few minutes ago. The hard left has to take out Marco,Cain and Sarah since all three pose huge risks to the dem base of women, Hispanics and blacks. If any get traction it means instant hemorrhage of dem voters that have been bought and paid for by the dirty dems.

“She’s not going public:”

Obviously it didn’t bother her that much, so it looks like Cain is fine there.

...and now we know the sources of the leak. So Cain is fine there also.

This whole episode should be over in a day or two. Thanks for the info.

why bother doing research when you can just go “cult” on whoever you “like” for a candidate, then insult everyone who may prefer another candidate.ha.

We still do not know if Perry had anything to do with this. It could be Wilson acted on his own

Wasn't that Perry on the grassy knoll?

Uh huh. Yet, when he called those who opposed it 'heartless' his number sank below Ron Paul's across the board.

Perry's past pandering is proof of what he'll do to this country- and in his OWN words, nonetheless. Of course, he'll probably just blame someone else- just like he's already done.

Greta contacted Politico and they revealed their source

That is completely untrue. Did you read the story? Have you gone to the websites? Wilson is the source on a second story as a witness to Cain sexing up some employee. Not the original story.

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67473.html

A veteran Republican pollster and former National Restaurant Association employee said Wednesday morning that Herman Cain sexually harassed a woman at an Arlington, Va., restaurant in the late 1990s.

Chris Wilson, now the principal of an Oklahoma-based GOP consulting firm, said in an interview on Oklahoma City's KTOK radio station that the episode took place in the neighborhood where Cain kept an apartment when he headed the restaurant trade group.

"This occurred at a restaurant in Crystal City (Virginia), and everybody was aware of it," Wilson said on the station. "It was only a matter of time because so many people were aware of what took place, so many people were aware of her situation, the fact she left — everybody knew with the campaign that this would eventually come up."

In an interview with POLITICO, Wilson said he was present for the episode and that it took place in the late '90s.

Wilson declined to say specifically what Cain said or did to the woman, but that the CEO's actions made other individuals at the table uneasy.

"It was very uncomfortable," said the pollster, recalling that other individuals present asked Cain to stop.

Wilson said there were at least three other people at the gathering but wouldn't share the name of the woman for publication.

The Cain campaign didn't respond to an email asking if they had a comment on the incident.

Wilson is a Rick Perry supporter and does polling for a Super PAC that supports the Texas governor's presidential bid.

The pollster requested that POLITICO make clear that he has not shared this story with any of his clients and that he was not the source for the original story Sunday on the two women who complained about Cain at the association.

LOL! All of a sudden Cain’s memory comes back. Just a day ago he said he never harassed anyone, and never did anything wrong. Now all of a sudden he remembers the identity of the “leaker” and the nature of his “never did anything wrong actions.”

Well, if he never did anything wrong how could it be a leaker? Leaker of what?

Oh, I get it. Cain lied to whoever he told the story about his sexual harassment case, and now that person has leaked a lie. Yep, that’s it. It’s everyone’s fault: Perry, the liberals, the fact he is black and he is not the establishment candidate, the greedy women, you name it - everyone is at fault.

Notice he again, never mentions Romney. I wonder what Romney has on him.

This was posted earlier today.

Also, there were links to the NRA and Romney.

It would benefit Romney a lot more to derail Casin than it would help Perry.

Cain's staff was warned 10 days ago this was coming and they handled it poorly!
