A Wave Of Biased Fox News Polls Is a Sure Sign Republicans Are Losing Senate Races

The wave of extremely biased Fox News polls is a sign that Republicans are losing battleground Senate races across the country.

The Fox polls have Mitch McConnell leading Alison Lundergan Grimes 45%-41% in Kentucky, Pat Roberts leading Independent Greg Orman 44%-39%, Dan Sullivan leading Sen. Mark Begich in Alaska 44%-40%, Tom Cotton leading Mark Pryor in Arkansas 45%-39%, and Cory Gardner leading Mark Udall in Colorado 43%-37%.

The Fox News polls are another sure sign that Republicans are losing. Fox put out these polls in an attempt to shift the media storyline away from the Democrats’ growing momentum.

The Fox News polls are absurdly biased. They don’t match up with any of the recent polling except for the other Republican leaning CNN/ORC and NBC News/Marist polls. Polling has become a partisan battlefield, and the impact of this change is that the numbers are less reliable than they used to be.

Fox News tried to save the Republican Party, but all they accomplished was revealing the extreme bias behind their polling.

Funny, but I am urging caution. Other polls today show other Dems ahead again in a few races Fox said were shifting.

I have been following Fivethirtyeight, which knock it as liberal as you want has been pretty accurate. I also am no longer paying much attention to the samples this cycle because that proved fruitless in 2012. The oversampled Dems were right that time.

We definitely will come CLOSE to taking the Senate. There are just a few races that will determine the final outcome. Frankly, I don’t know if taking over the Senate is the best outcome for the GOP due to getting the blame for anything the Dems can pin on the Senate, but due to our awful headwinds in 2016 in which LOSING the Senate if we get it this year is almost guaranteed, I am willing to risk it.

At least any SCOTUS retirements would be held at bay.

I am betting we will take the Senate, but I am betting with only a one-seat advantage, which like in the early Bush years could easily switch again with a defection.

I’ll point out that a recent wave of CBS/New York Times polls also had the Republicans doing far better than recent polls had shown. Are they biased too?

CNN is Republican???

This is why people like Jason Easley should be locked up in asylums. Liberalism really is a mental disorder.

“Republican leaning CNN”

I don’t think I’ve ever seen these three words together before

A Wave Of Biased Fox News Polls panicky liberal articles, dismissing polls which don't fit their narrative in an attempt to sway voters and bring about a self-fulfilling prophecy Is a Sure Sign [that liberals fear] Republicans Are [not] Losing Senate Races

There. Fixed the small typo. :)

The meltdown has happened. The comments at the site read like a DUmmie Funnies thread. Example: “Don’t believe none of the Fox based polls. None. Ya’ll hear me?” I may not have got in all of the errors from the original text. Also it was all caps.

I seem to remember a lot of us doing the same thing in 2012 when we saw the polls we didn’t like. Glad to see we are not alone in trying to ignore the bad polling for our side...

Fox put out these polls in an attempt to shift the media storyline away from the Democrats’ attempt to shift the media storyline away from the fact they are losing.

...or somethin’ like that there.

I think it is we that can’t handle the truth. While that’s my first look at that site and it seems ... loony, the conclusion is correct if a bit hyperbolic.

Every single pollster (I mean the decent ones) this past week have show small momentum toward the Dims. Fox polls have been bad for awhile now. not the worst, but bad. (Check their Romney in an EV landslide polling). And CBS partnering with YouGov (one of the bottom 3 pollsters out there) is a joke.

But hey. All that matters is the election, right? But a close second is Conservatives burying their heads in the sand.

“Democrats’ growing momentum”

Now there is a juggernaut to be feared. Ebola, ISIS, Obamacare, economic growth (or lack of it), and a number of wildfire scandals that keep spring up from nowhere.

Lord knows, there are plenty of low-information voters out there, and worse, they don’t even KNOW they are low-information. But, by nature, these same lo-infos are also not particularly motivated to get out and vote on November 4th.

The bigger danger to America is if the less-than-enthusiastic Republican officer holders manage to take control of the Senate, and the internal leadership of the Republican majority in the House is still the same lagging unwilling bunch that cannot or will not confront the fraud now squatting in the White Hut.

The Current Occupant may be a total incompetent on the world stage, but he can play the Congressional Republicans like a violin virtuoso, plucking at their strings ever so delicately, and drawing out a note so gracefully, they never realize they have already surrendered.

If this idiot had any clue whatsoever about politics, he would know that positive polls are bad for the pubbies. The more it looks like pubbies are gonna win, the less “broken glass” Republicans are out there, worrying about their vote to get their guy elected.
