Excuse me, where was it ever proven that the stories about Cain were true? He dropped out because his wife couldn’t take the pressure. I followed that story and never believed it and I don’t think it was ever proved.
It seems like this campaign season is going to go the way it always does - with ugly freepers smears to promote their candidate.
This has rino fingerprints all over it. This is friendly fire.

Thomas was falsely accused, stood his ground, and was exonerated in the court of public opinion (and in the Senate, where it counted).
In like manner Cain was bludgeoned with his improprieties, that’s true. But unlike Thomas, they were REAL improprieties, there were many of them, and they took him down. (Actually, he caved and half-confessed.)
There are only superficial similarities between Clarence Thomas and Herman Cain — and significant differences.
In my view, Carson is more like Cain than he is like Thomas.
If a pol is a liar or a nutcase or has flawed principles then I want him or her to go down.

Well, it might just have been because Cain’s Mistress came on TV and said it was all true and the affair had been going on for a long time. Geez, stop being myopic about Carson (and Cain). Carson’s own campaign staff came out today and said what Carson said wasn’t true. Sheesh.
The MSM and the Democrats wanted Cain off the stage. And now they want Carson off the stage. Can't have the GOP field looking more diverse than the Democrat field!
I'm not saying Cain or Carson are "innocent". What I am saying is that the MSM cares not about any of that. They just want black folks off of the Republican stage.

I don’t think Carson will ever be president. But we should go after him on his world view - not some story about West Point.
There is absolutely no way you can misinterpret being admitted to a U.S. Service Academy. I’m a USAFA grad and you have to apply through your congressman or senator, get your appointment there and then be accepted by one of the academies. It’s a long process and a big deal when you receive an appointment. There is no way Carson mixed this up. He lied plain and simple and that is unforgivable. You don’t lie about military service.

CNN reports one day that they can’t confirm Dr. Carson’s stories of his past. Not that they can refute them; just that they can’t find any one to confirm them.
Then the left-wing site, Politico, writes a story implying that Dr. Carson applied to West Point, and that he was offered a scholarship, refutes that, gets the campaign to “admit” that he was never formally offered a scholarship, and all of a sudden you’re a full-blown believer in left wing propaganda and don’t trust Dr. Carson, a person of unquestioned character, until now.
For the record, Dr. Carson never said at any time, anywhere (including in his book) that he was granted a scholarship, nor did he ever say that he applied to West Point. You are being played and, pathetically, you’ve chosen to participate in the playing. You might yourself ask how you could let Donald Trump turn you into a person just like him.

Dr. Carson is one of two in the lead. The MSM loves Trump for several reasons, so he’s getting a pass (for now.)
Don’t delude yourself into thinking they won’t also be making up stories about Senator Cruz should he ever move to the front of the pack.
Sheesh, yourself, lady. I don’t remember any “mistress.” I remember some broads saying he harassed them. No one is denying he exaggerated some story about West Point. What appears to be true, though, is that he was certainly eligible for West Point.
Let Trump take care of Carson - he doesn’t need you. He’s smarter and funnier.
Freepers are now pushing their candidates and are having a feeding frenzy today. Once Carson is out, it’ll be Cruz, Rubio, Trump and whoever rises in the polls.
Particularly when they defend every RAT lie as a misstep when it is found out.

Carson just isn’t man enough to take control and redirect this country at this stage. He just isn’t. So he might as well get out of Trumps way.
So they defend the Liberal when they lie and people around here defend the Conservative when they lie. Which one is worse than the other?
