Anyone who calls out McConnell for being a liar gets my vote.

What Trump is saying is right. It’s great Ted stood up to the establishment but he can’t get anything done, not really. If your entire legislative agenda is protest, you’re paralyzed as far as any accomplishments.

Cruz says he’s like Reagan but Reagan brought the opposition along, didn’t shut them out.

Trump talking about “making deals” sounds a lot like the usual RINO talk about “reaching across the aisle.”

Talk about the “Ugly American.” Do we really want to have this bully being the face of America? That’s what Carly Fiorina should be asking.

“Only a Sith Lord deals in absolutes. “

If that is true then there are a lot of Sith Lord “conservatives” on this site.

There’s a LOT who commit the logical fallacy of too few alternatives.

I am trying to remain neutral in this because I’d be happy with one or the other or a combination of the two. But “nobody likes him - he’s a very nasty guy” is not the equivalent to “everybody hates Ted.”

See, here’s another example of Trump thinking way above most people. They can’t follow the logic enough to even acknowledge he has a point. They simply default into scorched earth mode.

I don’t want someone who makes deals “I’ll vote for your wasteful welfare spending program if you vote for my wasteful military spending program.”

I want the man who will make deals: “I’ll vote to cut wasteful and immoral Planned Parenthood spending, if you vote to cut wasteful pork barrel military programs and he votes to cut wasteful welfare and social programs.”

Cruz is exactly the kind of deal maker that those of us paying for these bad deals want.

What if you are the only one who is speaking the truth and everyone else prefer the lies?

Everybody may be a stretch. But almost everybody is probably reasonable since no one in Congress is willing to pass a resolution on Cruz being eligible for the presidency. To be fair, some do like Ted...Goldman Sachs and Citibank. There are probably others.
