A new Gallup report finds that enthusiasm among Trump supporters is what it calls, "extraordinarily high" at a combined extremely enthusiastic and very enthusiastic level of 65%. It reports Cruz supporters are at a combined 39% and Kasich supporters are at a combined 33%. Hillary's supporters are at 54% way above Comrade Sanders'44%.

Gallup has lost all credibility the past few years. SO, yawn over their bogus poll.

Yeah, this is nonsense! 39% of millions vs. 65% for a few Texans and Co-Texans!

This is all political theater. It’s been over since the Cruznadian went 0 for 6 on Super Tuesday. Trump is the only plausible national candidate. Period.

I don’t see how a Cruz support could continue to be enthusiastic about a candidate who can only answer “Donald!” to any question he is asked.

“Mr. Cruz, what is your plan for dealing with the Middle East?”

“It’s better than Donald’s plan! Donald wouldn’t do anything to help us in the Middle East!”

“Mr. Cruz, what’s your favorite ice cream?”

“Donald Trump hates ice cream and puppies and Betsy Ross!”

exactly
He was part of Bush, then pretended to be anti establishment and even said this.

“Let me encourage other members of the establishment: Keep supporting Donald Trump because every time you do it, what it is doing is telling conservatives all over the country is where you stand and who stands with you”.
- Ted Cruz, New Hampshire stump speech

and I had one supporter for cruz who even stated that he never said that until cleared it up for him.

they are in denial, but then again we have seen this with oabmam voters.

“Is it better to have fewer but more enthusiastic supporters or to have more but less excited voters?”

Trump enjoys way more voters and much more enthusiasm...

As much as I would like to agree with you, I am sorry to say that I cannot.

Until Trump gains the magic number of delegates, there are plausible scenarios for him losing on the convention floor.

For me, a strong Trump supporter, I find the current state of the race to be a nail-biter.

Me too. Definitely worried until he locks the magic number. Still, he’s gone farther than anyone else running..

The polling is closed to just registered republicans. I do not see any cruz support OUTSIDE the “R” party in the same way as support for Trump.

Yup. I would rather he be where he is now than at the level of any other candidate (Cruz or Kasich, the only other 2 left), but still, it aint over till it’s over.

To who? Cruz has been completely noncompetietive in battleground states. Putting him on the ticket is a death warrant for the entire GOP ticket in 2016. Down ballot would also be a massacre for the GOPe as Trumpers would follow the Romney Rule and write in their preferred candidates.

If Trump runs third party, he will be Ross Perot round 3 - a 3rd party candidate splitting the conservative vote and guaranteeing a Democrat win.

You are probably right, but still, I will feel much better when he gets to the magic number during the primary process.

Maybe the lefties and Cruz supporters can take some more swings at us, and see how pissed off we really can become?

I have to laugh at this.

I want a third party with Trump as the nominee right now. He would win it all.

Lets the skanky GOP and dems spread their crap between them.

RE: I want a third party with Trump as the nominee right now. He would win it all.

Actually, you’d end up with a repeat of 1912 or 1992. Which means Hillary will be the next President.
