The Case That Could Blow Up American Election Law
MSN ^ | July 11, 2022 | Thomas Wolf

embers of the Supreme Court’s conservative supermajority just last week took the next step in a little-noticed, but extremely dangerous, project: attempting to jam into law a radical misinterpretation of the Constitution’s elections and electors clauses, which, if successful, would create electoral chaos across the country. Before next summer, and well in advance of the 2024 presidential election, the Court could strip state courts and state constitutions of their ability to check and balance state legislators when they make laws for federal elections, giving partisan majorities near-total control over how voters cast ballots and how those ballots are counted. And it would make the current Court—which already has a horrible track record on voting rights—the ultimate judge of whether the legislatures’ actions are legal.

From this article's hysterical tone it is easy to see that this is a valuable case and we ought to continue following it closely. Also it shows why Biden wants to keep up the illegal harassment of the justices: he wants to terrorize them into complete submission. If the Republicans regain control of the House and, hopefully, the Senate, one of the first projects on their list should be to impeach Biden for a host of crimes and misdemeanors and also to impeach Garland because of his deliberate failure or refusal to enforce the law that prohibits harassment of Supreme Court justices, jurors and low lower court judges.

No doubt the writers are concerned about the supermajority legislature in CA deciding how the election will go.

“electorial chaos”

The left creates chaos everywhere it goes.
They want chaos.
They benefit from chaos..one way or the other.

Leftist view of the world when their cheats are threatened…

Even with Viter ID and signature verification, Deep State can still steal elections with RCV and RCV-enabled voting machines.

In fact those RCV-enabled machines are really the only way Deep State can steal a landslide.

Deep State is happy to allow us Voter ID and signature verification...as long as they have those voting machines.

Obvious answer:
Pack all the courts in the US!
Elections will be decided by MSN.
Dominion voting machines on every street corner.
Voting 24/7/365 /s

To the author of this piece...
He thinks that elected state legislators should not define voting districts...
To you, I present what fubo said:

Nothing valuable about it.

" . . . a radical misinterpretation of the Constitution’s elections and electors clauses, which, if successful, . . . "

Where's the danger and value in their own opening words ?

Non existent.

EXCEPT to readers who allow those words and that thought process to be planted and take root.

Public school has been very effective in giving children a rudimentary reading ability, but kids today have no critical thinking skills and are easily led by wordsmiths, printed and oral, that say the truth once and then continue to cloud, cover and obfuscate that truth until the lie was the whole point to begin with.

Depending on the results of the “mid-term” elections, the possibility exists that CJ Robertsd will change the rules for for Federal “Constitutionality” rulings.

That they must be 9-0.

I think MSN should be more worried about Wisconsin crapping on drop boxes. If that fraudulent mechanism is ended nationally its over for democrats for awhile.

Court could strip state courts and state constitutions of their ability to check and balance state legislators when they make laws for federal elections

It is in The Constitution. The individual state legislatures determine the voting procedures of each individual state, not the secretarys of state nor the judiciary. The voting laws in many states were changed in the last election in an illegal manner by the secretarys of the states and the courts. Thus the last election was totally illegitimate.
