The 40-year consent decree against Republicans, too.

The conflict is due to the left’s construal of voting rights which are really political rights, as human rights, which opens the door to all sort of leftwing malfeasance. As we have already seen.

“The 40-year consent decree against Republicans, too.”

That’s what they want back most badly, I think. They’d love it if the RINOs preemptively surrendered again for the next 40 years.

5-4 is not a “super majority”. The author mistakenly believes Robert’s is a conservative.

... would create electoral chaos across the country ...

Whatever else might be said, this bit. We are already there.

Covid impacted many processes when it was full blown and the USA was in some form of lock down. jmo

For a terror virus that had less than a 1.0 death rate.   A Scamdemic for the purpose of controlling the dumb-masses.

The concept of super-majority is relevant to presidential vetoes of legislation.

In this context it is ignorant hysteria mongering. No one has veto power over Supreme Court decisions.

......giving partisan majorities near-total control

Sure. They have no problem with Democrat majorities in states - only in those states they call "Evil MAGA."

They can take their hysterics, their histrionics and simpering complaints elsewhere.

So who is authorized to create congressional boundaries within each state? The legislature or the courts?

I say the legislature and NOT the courts. The court has NO say in the matter. Judges are NOT our overlords, for Christ sake.

Excellent presentation and well worth 25 min. I have passed the link along. America is under attack, the trojan horse within the gate. We stand on a precipice and must take the fight to our enemies who must be exposed, rooted out and punished. If we don’t take back our Nation, her election integrity and her resources our Nation is at twilight & night is coming.

SCOTUS has repeatedly affirmed the State Legislatures have plenary power over elections run in their State, including elections to Federal offices. The Governor has no say. The State Supreme Court has no say.

Can you cite one of those instances?

Thomas Wolf is a domestic enemy.

“Thomas Wolf is the deputy director of the Democracy Program at the Brennan Center for Justice.”

The Brennan Center for Justice:

While the group purports to be “nonpartisan,” it has received substantial funding from George Soros-associated organizations,[5] and is mainly funded by left-leaning organizations, having received substantial funding from other liberal groups including the Kohlberg Foundation, Tides Foundation, Proteus Fund, Joyce Foundation, Schumann Media Center, Public Welfare Foundation, and JPB Foundation.[6]

This liberal financing has turned the Center into a cog in the liberal legal movement. The Center pursues a left-wing issue agenda, supporting liberal activist policies on ethnic preferences, restrictions on political campaign speech, and protections for foreign terrorism suspects.

Thank you. That is fascinating. If I worked my way through the rushes there was not a grant of the application for a stay but after some back & forth the Supreme court granted a writ of certiorari, asking the lower court to forward the case materials, and indicating the SC will hear the case next session?
It would be very positive to have the SC reaffirm the Constitution re the primacy of the state legislatures not the state court to control state election requirements & procedures.

By now we all realize the RAT party is the equivalent of Hitler’s Brown Shirts. Even to Antifa stealing their party symbol from the Nazis.

Where’s the 2/3’rds majority in the Senate for conviction going to come from? Impeachment is not removal! Removal takes a Senate trial and a 2/3’rds majority vote. Thanks to the Rats use of impeachment for frivolous political disagreements its now equivalent to a note home to your mother that you were bad. Impeachment alone is just bad political theater and will be seen as such.

This is a power reserved EXCLUSIVELY to State Legislatures.

But it creates some paradoxes. For one, it elevates the legislatures to be superior to the state constitutions which created them and gave them all their authority in the first place.

What if the state constitution says all laws, including election laws, must be passed by the legislature and signed by the governor?

Is SCOTUS going to jump in and overrule the state’s constitution?

What if the constitution says presidential electors are to be chosen by popular vote and the legislature decides to choose them based on the vote of the state house?

I don’t see how they can give the legislatures the power to ignore their own constitutions, and I can’t imagine a single state would have ratified the US Constitution if they thought that would be the case.

I guess we’ll see.
