Not surprising...except, perhaps, to an anti-war protester.

I have been posting the following links for about a month...hopefully, people will email the story you posted...along with these links to everyone they know. Get the truth behind these Anti-AmericanWar protest out there.

1) Socialist Party USA: http://sp-usa.org/
2) Communist Party USA: http://www.cpusa.org/
3) International Answer: http://www.internationalanswer.org/
4) Workers World: http://www.workers.org/
5) International Socialist Organizations: http://www.internationalsocialist.org/
6) Socialist Workers Online: http://socialistworker.org/
7) Socialist Party: http://www.socialistparty.org.uk/antiwar.htm
8) Communist Party of Canada: http://www.communist-party.ca/

I understand why the socialist would want to defend Saddam and want to protest a regime change in Iraq because Saddam is a fellow Socialist.

But I cannot understand why pacifists would want to join with the Communist and Socialist, after all Socialist have lead some of the bloodiest revolutions in history - only to install vile dictators who have pillaged the land and made slaves of the people.

First, it's because they don't actually THINK about anything. And if they do analyze it, I'm sure they believe that the only reason that socialist/communist regimes became violent was because the people in charge were bad guys. "They" would do it "right".

Because these so-called "pacifists" are nothing more than democrat/liberals, most of whom bitterly resent the fact that Bush won the White House. And we already know that liberal is just another word for communist/socialist.

Becuase they are lying to you.

It's not about peace. It never has been. Former KGB and GRU officers now admit that the USSR financed about 95% of the anti-vietnam "protests."

It is simply a way for foreign countries, North Korea for example to wage war against us. Or even better for them, have us wage war on ourselves.

Thanks. I hope more anti-war protesters read it. Do you suppose it will make them think twice? (Probably not, since most of them probably didn't think once.)

Exactly..... if billblythe were still in office, these hollywood idiots would be screaming about the evil dictator torturing children and raping little girls in Iraq....and how the wealthy no-good Republicans wouldn't do anything about him............

This has nothing to do with right or wrong.....it has EVERYTHING to do with liberal democrats vs. a Republican President

They say they will shut down 70 targets in San Francisco alone, including power plants, water systems, the Federal Reserve, oil companies, the Pacific Exchange and the Transamerica Building.

And their hit list goes beyond economic targets.

Some protesters are promising to chain themselves to fences at schools and day care centers so working parents will have to stay home from their jobs. Organizers say this will give others a chance to contemplate how war affects the children of Iraq.

These people should be thrown in jail for a good long time. It's one thing to publicly declare your anti-war opinions. Take out a full page ad in the NY Times, for all I care. But it's another thing to disrupt the peace --speaking of "peace" -- and to cause harm or potential harm to property or people.

The Workers World Party believes that money should be invested in the future. By careful use of their capital, they hope to reap future returns that will validate their investment strategy. In the Marketplace of Ideas, they feel that judicial advertisement of their wares, good PR and aggressive marketing will help them beat the competition.

Hey, that's what Marxism is all about, right?

But many wonder if paralyzing the morning commute and engaging in similar disruptions will win converts or make enemies of people losing patience with their tactics.

They "wonder"?!?! Btw, good screen name.

Money is needed to rent or buy stages, sound systems, permits and portable toilets, and tabs often run as high as $200,000 per demonstration — much more than the average grassroots peace group will ever have in its coffers.

Demonstrations never fed a starving child, or provided a job to a poor single mother, or bought medicine for an elderly person.
