This War is wrong. Many innocent Iraqis have died. Many Americans have died.

Iraq is in chaos. No food. No water. No power.

I don't care if staged events involving a few criminals and looters make the people appear to be happy. Ask the ones who had their lives destroyed by American bombs.

There are no WMDs. America will remain in Iraq long enough to:

A) plunder its resouces

B) ensure a Bush election victory in spite of massive deficits and a terrible economy.

THIS WAR IS WRONG.

1. No WMD's Then what did he do with what he had after the Gulf War? You can't flush it down the drain. He has no documented account of their whearabouts. Even Hans Blix agrees to this.
2. Staged events of "happy" people. Of this you have no proof. Reporters in Bahgdad not embedded report that the out pouring was real. Of couse you are already pre dispose to disbelive what does not fit your view of the world.
3. Lives may be disrupted by American Bombs but Saddam's rule destroyed far more.

Got a call from my niece's husband, Ali Veenstra, who was born in Iraq, but fled here to the US of A. He is estatic and says that the Iraqis and Iraqi-Americans in Cleveland are throwing a party as I post. He doesn't think that our soldiers or the innocent Iraqis caught in the crossfire died in vain.

As for WMD--there have been some verified discoveries according to news reports. Some alleged finds turned out not to be WMD, but there were other finds that are undergoing a second and third confirmation. Something about armed and loaded chemical warheads that were captured. Does anyone knoe about these?
