If you will, please remember this tiny baby in your prayers. Hes the grandson of a very dear friend of mine. Logan was born on July 25. His due date was in October, making his mommy 26 weeks along, being born 3 months and 3 days early.
Logan was 1 lb 9.4 oz when he was born and is now weighing, as of this morning, 1 lb. 8.3 oz. The little guy is now 12-1/2 long.
Hes a real trooper and is fighting with all his little body can fight with. His Grandma said that hes starting to recognize his mommy when she comes in the room and hears her voice. She said he tries so hard to open his eyes, and starts kicking his feet.
I asked my friend if there were any specific prayers, other than the obvious and this is her reply A prayer of thanks for the miracle called "Logan.
On a personal note, Ive read the emails daily from my friend. Ive known her for years, Ive heard her talking about her family for years but Ive got to tell you that Im SO impressed with how her children have all banded together in support. What an incredibly wonderful and loving family.
Father God, we lift up Logans little body to you. We pray that you can strengthen him hourly, daily, weekly, until hes grown enough to go home with his precious family. We ask for guidance for the doctors and nurses who are caring for him. We ask for strength for his parents and extended family. Thank you so much for the gift of life. In Jesus Name, Amen
Fellow Freepers .I bring you Logan!!!
Thank you so much for the wonderful update!!!
God is truly great, and we thank Him for His blessings....
:-)
I haven't heard anything, one way or another....I know Nana was going to the hospital this morning...
I'm overwhelmed with the love you've shown this little guy, yet again.
Bless you all!!!
Sending many many prayers
Just got online. Prayers have been and will continue to be sent. God Speed!
Thank You, our Master of Grace, for Your Hand of Love Over this Little One. Your Lovingkindness is Forever, and Your Compassionate Care is Ever-Sure. May the Presence of Thy Spirit Heal him, in our Savior's Name. Please Hear us, Your Majesty, and Grant a Speedy and Uneventful Recovery. Fill All his Family with Peace, and Rest them in Your Love. Our Faithful and Merciful God, we Lift Little Logan to our King. Cover him with Grace, Papa-Father, as we Pray in our Jesus' Name, amen.
Well the little one is about 50% better today. Thank God. He still has the IV, monitors and oxygen and they said he will continue to have them until at least Sunday. But he did manage to smile at the little dinasour I took him and was eating a taco with hot sauce on it!! He won't eat them unless they have hot sauce :) His cough is much looser and that's a good sign. Still running a low grade fever.. but not spiking like it was yesterday and all week for that matter.
The Pulmo doc came in and said she was amazed at Logan's rapid improvement. I had to smile..... she just doesn't know the power of our prayer warriors!
Beth said to PLEAZZZE express her gratitude once again for all the love and prayers sent to Logan, her and our entire family. If anyone wants to know the meaning of Thanksgiving...look into Logan's big blue eyes. Our miracle indeed that everyone is such a part of. We give thanks daily for having him in our lives.
Here's a picture of him I took this morning. He looks so much better, but still has those little sick eyes.
I'm going back up this evening. I'll update you then.....Love, Nana
BG Note...THANK YOU ALL, again, for praying for this little guy. Er. Big kid. ;) Please don't stop...God bless you ALL!!!
Prayers for the child to be cured of this illness and for a speedy recovery.

Aw...the poor little guy does have the "sick eyes" bless his heart.
I saw that pic and it reminded me of Nana's note about him being proud of the blue "board".
I am praying hard for you Logan..and you sure are keeping up your end...fighting with the spirit that has gotten you this far.
Keep up the good work Logan...and I pray that God keeps up the good work also.
