~ EXCERPT ~ It turns out Barack Obama was dreaming big right from an early age - at just nine-years-old he announced he was going to be the prime minister of Indonesia. The episode from a new biography of the president's mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, reveals the roots of a hunger for power which has driven Mr Obama's heady rise from an eccentric upbringing in Hawaii and Indonesia to the White House. It will bring a wry smile to the faces of 'birthers', who are not satisfied he was born in the U.S. In A Singular Woman: The Untold Story...

BARACK Obama is worried sick! Sources say the President is terrified that Donald Trump will uncover the truth about his birth, bringing his administration to a sudden and embarrassing end. America’s Globe magazine claims that Obama is so worried Trump’s investigation team will find damning evidence about his past he’s asking Oprah Winfrey to use her influence with The Donald to get him to call off his hounds.
  • Gov. Bobby Jindal’s Potentially Self-Destructive Support of Birther Bill (They're "concerned")

It looks like Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal is prepared to do what Arizona’s Jan Brewer announced earlier this week that she couldn’t: Pass a birther bill that would require presidential candidates to prove their U.S. citizenship. In Jindal’s case, it’s a bill that could threaten his own presidential ambitions and potentially make it much harder for him to appear on his own state ballot if he ever chose to run. “It’s not part of our package, but if the Legislature passes it we’ll sign it,” press secretary Kyle Plotkin told the Times-Picayune on Tuesday. The package that Plotkin is talking...

Inside the political vacuum, the headline story on Drudge was none other than Obama’s birth certificate. It’s the story that just won’t go away–and it won’t go away until Obama himself releases the long-form document. But with the coming release on May 17 of Jerome Corsi’s “Where’s the Birth Certificate” continued questions will either be answered or remain inconclusive. However, no matter what the media says about the issue, people are curious as Corsi’s book hit the Amazon charts hard and fast today. While I won’t rehash all of the issues here, I will note, for the record, that the...

  • Trump Calls in to CNN

Anyone see/hear Trump call in to CNN this AM? Spectacular. There was a guest on trashing Trump's finances. Trump calls in and proceeds to dismantle the guy. Then of course, the hosts start asking about Obama's birth. Again, Trump hammers them for continuing to ask the question...and unlike Bachmann (sorry michelle) never backs down. If nothing else this guy is refreshing and I hope stays in the race through the primaries.

We now have the media of an one-party state. (snip) Of course, the MSM long ago discarded any pretense of independence and objectivity. They have completely bought into the Obama agenda and they want to protect their investment. The MSM are now enthusiastically shielding Obama from doubts about his eligibility by making the “birther question” a litmus test for potential Republican candidates. (snip) On another subject, I have often wondered why, with so many qualified African-American spokespersons, the MSM promotes outwardly controversial and divisive figures like Al “racism is my business case” Sharpton. He is a man ostensibly dedicated to...

Two-time GOP presidential candidate and longtime political analyst Pat Buchanan says Barack Obama should just show his birth certificate to put an end to questions over his eligibility to occupy the Oval Office. His comments came in an interview on MSNBC, where he serves as a political analyst: Buchanan said he agrees with Mitt Romney in that he believes Obama was born in Hawaii, and the newspapers probably were accurate in reporting his birth there in 1961. However, he said, "I do agree with Donald Trump when he said, 'Why is Barack Obama toying with the American people? Why doesn't...

Donald Trump's "birther" comments are no joke for Jerry Seinfeld. The 56-year-old comedian has canceled his appearance at a benefit for Donald Trump’s Eric Trump Foundation because the real estate mogul has been questioning whether President Obama was born in America. (VIDEO AT LINK) Seinfeld was expected to attend the September 13 event benefiting St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, but his rep tells CNN that Seinfeld has indeed pulled out of the engagement because of the remarks Trump has been making about the President. Trump responded to Seinfeld’s move with a letter, writing, "I just learned you canceled a show...

A plurality of Republicans believes that President Obama was not born in the United States, according to a new poll released Thursday. Forty-five percent of registered Republicans think Obama was born outside the U.S., 33 percent believe he was born in the U.S. and 22 percent don't know, per the results of a CBS News/New York Times survey. The issue of Obama's birthplace has reemerged with Donald Trump's flirtation with a run for the GOP nomination for president. Trump has raised questions about the validity of Obama's birth certificate, which his campaign released in 2008 to prove that he was...

Louisiana's Governor Bobby Jindal believes that President Obama is a U.S. citizen. He'll also sign Louisiana HB 561 if it reaches his desk. The bill, introduced by state Rep. Alan Seabaugh (R-Shreveport) and Sen. A.G. Crowe (R-Slidell), requires that all candidates for federal office present original or certified copies of their birth certificates before appearing on Louisiana ballots. Similar bills have been drafted in other states, fueled by belief that Obama isn't really a U.S. citizen. Donald Trump has hammered the issue, claiming that there is "a real question" about Obama's birth certificate. Trump's stance on this has earned him...

I understand the general nuance of the birther argument. And I see there's more than one prevailing theory. While I still have a hard time believing Osama was born in Kenya. I am warming to the idea he was adopted by Lolo Soetoro, became an Indonesian citizen and most likely obtained an Indonesian passport which allowed his travels to Pakistan and beyond. As well as possibly entering college in the US as a foreign student. And I'm sure there was a Muslim thing going on too... much proof of that is already out there and not in dispute. He applied...

“Contacted by NBC, Fukino expanded on previous public statements and made two key points when asked about Trump’s recent comments.” Fukino no longer works for the Hawaii Department of Health. Why did Mr. Isikoff not contact the current health department director who overseas the birth certificates in Hawaii? Why do we have to hear from someone who no longer works for Hawaii and no longer has any control over or access to its vital records files? Why can we not hear from the current official who could tell us what is in the file today? …

Seems anyone who supports having Americans elected to the Presidency of the United States of America is now considered "a racist." Actor, John Legend calls Trump a "racist." From HollywoodGossip.com: "He needs to stop saying that racist bulls**t birther s**t," Legend told N.Y. Magazine. "Quote me please. He should be ashamed of himself. It's awful, really." And this from Hollyscoop: Bill Cosby appeared on the Today show, saying "Oh please, with Donald Trump. The only thing he's running is his mouth." Reality television host and developer Donald Trump has risen to a tie for first among potential GOP presidential contenders, according to a new national poll. Nineteen percent of Republicans and Republican-leaning independents said in the CNN/Opinion Research Corporation survey that they are most likely to back Trump for the Republican presidential nomination. That put him in a tie at the top of the list with former Arkansas governor and 2008 candidate Mike Huckabee, who also received 19 percent support.
