To become truly great, scandals need to catch fire. They need to grow as fuel is added daily or weekly, leaks, new info. Post election, Benghazi was a fading campfire. Now, the Petraeus sex scandal has ignited it to a level that even the NYT can't ignore. How long has the administration known? Did Petraeus beat the lie detector on his vetting as CIA Director?
