    Classic obfuscation on your part:

“Sorry, but you are mistaken about that”

Please provide the proof for which I asked. I will be waiting.......

    also:
“the exercise of those rights because they are conferred by God.”

    “No God, no rights.”

I was endowed by my Creator with certain unalienable rights. Thus

    “No Creator, no rights.”

Why so vague, why not God, Yahweh, or Jesus, or the Trinity or Allah?

The bottom line and my whole point is that the founders had ample opportunity to make Christianity, the Christian God, Jesus Christ, etc…. the preferred religion in the US, and they did not and this is because they were very wise, and they knew that religion and government do not mix. It is bad for both; you get some crazy theocracy like the Islamic world has for a government and an ersatz brand of Christianity like the Church of England. They are better off separated, now where is that line of separation, is a whole other topic, but I am sure we would disagree on that as well. Ain't America Great!!!!!!!

(Also as an American I reserve the right to use as many punctuation marks as I deem fit.)

From where do you derive the right to declare Gay Marriage evil? Is it defined as evil in any federal or state laws. Or has it been deemed evil by the Bible? If so the Bible is not the law of the USA. My point is simple as long as I live my life within the laws of the USA, I have the same rights as all other Americans. Some states have deemed it legal to marry within ones same sex. If you do not like it work to change it, but by declaring it evil changes nothing. There are many things Christians believe are evil but are perfectly legal in the USA, and the perceived “evil doers” are consider as American as you and I, in the eyes of the law.

Could not agree more with your words freestate, but here is what I am saying. The Bible is not the standard for all AMERICANS. The Bible holds no authority over any American, unless that American chooses to live by its values.

““You are free to pretend that my say-so is the only proof, if you like”

It’s religion brother,, it’s based on FAITH, there is NO PROOF!!!! If there were proof, there would be no need for faith. Good Lord.

For arguments sake I will defer to your Christian Theological expertise. You win the theology discussion. Now try very hard to grasp this Christianity is NOT THE OFFICIAL RELIGION OF THE USA!!!!!! You can site all the Bible Verses and writings of founders you like. I have the law on my side; you do not get to shove your Christian beliefs down the throats of nonbelievers. The individual’s rights take precedent over those of the church or the state in America, and that is the way it should be, If you or I want to serve the lord.....we have to do it on our own time. I do not have to serve anyone or any deity unless I choose to do so, and that my friend is why America is so unique in the history of the world.

    Just as I thought............

Your claim that i am not a Christian says all I need to know about your Ministry. Here is another question I am sure you will avoid.

If the founders felt like you do why is it they failed to put their “God” before their “Country”????

Religious Freedom, not tolerance is what “Won the Day”, and no hyperbole you offer can change that, The founders knew that if you give religious fanatics a little rope well you the rest..........

Finally, I am not anti-christian, in fact I am a Christian, apparently my brand is different than yours. And because I support the idea of America above all does not mean I support the government or it's policies. I do not like some of the things you enumerate, but it is an individuals right, because they are an American to live their lives as they see fit, within the law. It's quite simple pal it is NOT YOUR RELIGIOUS BELIEFS THAT MAKE YOU AMERICAN. Americans that love gay marriage are just as American as you and I. You and I may not like it, but that's the way it is and I think there are better ways to change those peoples minds, then beating them over the head with the “Good Book”.

I don’t understand why people think republicans are neaderthals???? Especially with clear thinkers like you???? People that reject your brand of “Christian Morals” are not all liberals. I bet your one of those “individual rights are a code word for liberals” type “conservatives”, aren’t you??? It’s not the economy, it’s not the religon, it’s not your stance on the moral dillema de jour (french, must be a liberal), it’s not the moral absolutes that makes America unique. IT’S THE LIBERTY, SIR!!!!!

BTW All you Christians out there that know Jesus so well, let me ask you a questions?????

    Is Mitt Romeny a Christian?????

Good lord!!!!! I cannot understand why more Americans don't fall into lock step with the author's views on Christian Morality. I am unclear what the first step is? Do we attempt to convert all the Muslims to his “brand of Christianity” or just start a wholesale slaughter????

I think I have a better idea. Why don't we just mind our own business, let the Muslims practice their own religion and when they start “honor killing” or trying to establish “a global Caliphate in the US” we arrest them and try them under the laws of the US? Kinda like those “Christians” that choose to kill doctors that perform legal surgical procedures, that we may not agree with? Once tried and convicted we then send them to jail.

I know my method is not as “sexy” or “zealous” as the authors, but after all this is America still? Right? I know a lot here wish we had a “way-back machine” and could go back to the days when “blood of the nonbelievers” was running in the streets. But for the more mundane believers in civility and Liberty, we'll just stick to the business at hand raising families, enjoying God's creation, going to an occasional ball game, and just generally minding our own business.

I am a liberatarian sir, and I am not “angered at social consevative opposition” to anything. I am offended by statements in the article trying to tell “Christians” how they must feel on these issues. And yes I may not fall on the same side of these issues as republicans, however I respect your right to disagree with me. I do not repect anyones right to tell me as Liberatarian, a Christian, or as I man what I “must” believe on these issues. That’s all, enjoy your hike.

I am happy for you. But fortunately for the rest of us, your side did not “carry the day” “back in the day”. Americans do not have to believe in your “Jesus” to be American, and that is a “Fact Jack”!!!!

Then don’t shop there. Very simple this is America, they are doing it because it must be working. Can’t imagine in these economic times they are just being “politically correct” at the risk of losing business. But then again........

Really? Christianity is the most true religion? Says you. So if I believe that the rights of the individual supercede those of the collective, I have to be a Christian or it lacks logical consistancy??? So I have to believe your way or I don’t have a logical base for my beliefs???? Priceless, “our way or the highway”. That is pathetic, this is why your “Christians” are seen as a joke, and give a bad name to the rest of us christians.

I think your “manifesto” is complete garbage!!!! Will I get a trial in your Right Wing Christian Social Democracy or will I be summarily executed????? Really man, this is way over the top, I think you need to go back to the drawing board here. This is America (barely) but this religious fanaticism won’t sell. Why does every so called “conservative” in the US have to always revert to the Christian card. Come on man, really religion is a personal issue, as christian I do not have believe in what you say.....sorry. Because even though I am a christian, I am a American first and I have a right to tell you to take a hike, on gay marriage, abortion, capital punishment, prayer in school etc...... The US is a Republic not a Democracy, and as such I do not have to listen to all your self rightous rantings. This is what the average American wants from the Government:

    LEAVE US THE H*LL ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Laugh now, but this “global warming” thing is very insidious. While most of America is struggling to survive economically. We have billions of our tax payer dollars, that could be going to say: “save American families”, instead being funneled to a bunch of ‘pothead” researchers trying to convince the children of these same families, that their family's way of life is the problem. And the Republicans passive observers to this, they talk “green” crap just like the democrats. I love the pursuit of knowledge as much as the next guy, but American Universities once the beacon of the world, are now nothing more than a hotbed of left-wing charlatans, and scientific hacks. Wake Up America, these con-artists are taking away OUR Country, and your republican heroes watch and pay you lip service.
