A great hockey game for this Friday, after the medal rounds of the World Junior Championships I am now watching the Sabres-Penguins game. The game is tied 1-1 about 5 minutes into the second period, and the Pens tied it literally just after I typed that the Sabres were winning. I shouldn't have said anything! GO SABRES!!!!

It's New York vs. New York tonight--Rangers against Islanders. Game started at 5 PM EST, but I've been busy putting up Christmas lights so I didn't get to see it :)

YES! The Caps game isn't blacked out this time!! (Cuz it's in New York, not DC). Its the Capitals vs. the Islanders. No score, first period. GO CAPS!!

Ahh..another Friday night of doing nothing but watching ice hockey. A great match-up tonight, the Sabres vs. the Penguins. It's Evgeni Malkin and Sidney Crosby against Maxim Afinogenov and Jaroslav Spacek. Speaking of which, Afinogenov just scored!!!!!!!!! 1-0 now.

Red Wings are playing the Nashville Predators right now. Detroit is leading 1-0 with 9 minutes to play in the third period. Let's go Red Wings!!

Well this sucks--the Caps are playing the Thrashers tonight but since it's a home game it's blacked out to me on my computer (Caps are my local team). But they're playing the Flyers tomorrow in an away game so hopefully they'll show it. Everyone else who actually has cable--have fun watching it!

Domino's pizza, lemonade, fire going in the fireplace, raining like crazy outside, and now it's time to sit back and watch the Red Wings-Stars game. 1-1 so far. Stay tuned for updates.

8:30 PM EST: Chicago Blackhawks vs. Dallas Stars. Score currently 2-1, Blackhawks winning. Stars scored a goal early on, then got a power play when Chicago had too many players on the ice. Chicago got a power play on a penalty against Dallas, and Blackhawk Kukkonen scored a goal tying the game. Chicago got yet another power play when one of their players was tripped by a Star. Their second goal was scored then. The first period has ended.
