I have just received an Email from a group that call themselves Swift Boat Vets Dishonorable. Apparently they have a list of a lot of people who have posted on Swiftboat Vets for Truth and are sending out threatening emails to these members. Other individuals on the Swiftboats site are also getting their email. Check out the Vet forum of Swiftboat Vets for Truth for more information. I have shot a few emails back and forth with these guys and as you might expect, they sound like a bunch of kids using their parents computer or the typical Kerry supporter....

FReeper and co-author of 'Unfit for Command' Jerome R. Corsi, PhD is being attacked on WashingtonMonthly and MediaMatters. From WashingtonMonthly: LUNATICS?....A few misguided souls took issue with my cavalier dismissal of Swift Boat Veterans for Truth as "certifiable lunatics" yesterday. If you're one of them, I have two words for you: click here. It turns out I was being too kind.... That leads to this MediaMatters page: While much has been written about the identity and history of John E. O'Neill -- one of the authors of the forthcoming Regnery book Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against...

WASHINGTON, Aug. 6 - A commercial by a group of veterans accusing Senator John Kerry of exaggerating his decorated Vietnam War record was strongly challenged Friday by Democrats as new questions arose about the claims of one of the men calling Mr. Kerry a liar in the advertisement. The Boston Globe quoted the man, Lt. Cmdr. George Elliott, retired, who as Mr. Kerry's commander in Vietnam had recommended him for a Silver Star, as recanting a recent sworn statement that he did not believe Mr. Kerry deserved the decoration because of allegations that he earned it by shooting a fleeing,...

I used to think Jay Leno was pretty unbiased becaue he always seemed to hand it out evenly to both sides. This year we face a presidential election and Leno has been worse than ever in his shows. He usually only makes 1-2 jokes per day about Kerry and they're usually only just about the size of his head. Rather with Bush, he frequently shows taped bumblings, ridicules his policy, and comments that infer Bush is stupid and untruthful. Screw Leno. Screw his program. I'm dome watching it. I can see through his bias programming. Liberal Lettermen and Liberal Leno...

It's tough to be a Republican. It's tough to be a Republican in 2004, because you are expected to somehow believe all of this. Religion George W. Bush is a Christian, and Christians believe that lying is a sin, but it is okay for George Bush to mislead the public. A president lying about an extramarital affair is an impeachable offense. A president lying about the existence of Weapons of Mass Destruction to enlist support for an unprovoked, undeclared war, in which tens of thousands of soldiers and civilians die, is "defense". Christians believe in charity toward the poor, but...

This spring, the [Bush] administration significantly increased its pressure on Pakistan to kill or capture Osama bin Laden, his deputy, Ayman Al Zawahiri, or the Taliban's Mullah Mohammed Omar, all of whom are believed to be hiding in the lawless tribal areas of Pakistan... ...This public pressure would be appropriate, even laudable, had it not been accompanied by an unseemly private insistence that the Pakistanis deliver these high-value targets (HVTs) before Americans go to the polls in November.

Public schools are financed with tax dollars for the purpose of educating our young so they will be productive citizens when they become adults. Using our hard earned tax dollars to finance extacurricular athletic competition is an abuse of those funds. Does anyone agree?

Allan Starkey didn't go to see Michael Moore's Fahrenheit 9/11 yesterday to have his mind changed about George W. Bush or the war in Iraq. He wasn't disappointed in the least. "I know the film is as biased as all the critics say it is," Starkey, a professor at Towson University, said a few minutes before the opening of the incendiary new film at 11 a.m. at The Charles Theatre. "As far as I'm concerned, Michael Moore is the liberal answer to Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly, and I'm grateful he's there." The left and the right might both...

Nobel laureates oppose war against Iraq 29 January 2003 Forty-one American Nobel laureates have signed a declaration opposing war with Iraq. The declaration was organised by Walter Kohn, a theoretical physicist at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and former adviser to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency at the Pentagon. The signatories include 19 winners of the physics prize. The declaration reads: "The undersigned oppose a preventive war against Iraq without broad international support. Military operations against Iraq may indeed lead to a relatively swift victory in the short term. But war is characterized by surprise, human loss...

Beheaded Man's Firm Was On Right-Wing 'Enemies' Listhttp://www.BreakForNews.com/NickBergEnemiesList.htm by Fintan Dunne, EditorBreakForNews.com EXCLUSIVE Research by Kathy McMahon 12th May, 2004 10amET The family firm of beheaded American Nick Berg, was named by a conservative website in a list of 'enemies' of the Iraq occupation. That could explain his arrest by Iraqi police --a detention which fatally delayed his planned return from Iraq and may have led directly to his death. Nick Berg, 26 disappeared into incommunicado detention after his arrest by Iraqi police in March, 2004. He vanished again after his release 13 days later. His body was found...

OK, so we all know the stereotype, right? The veterans came home from Vietnam and were greeted -- at the airport, at the mall, who knows where -- by throngs of dirty hippies, all of them just waiting for the veterans to get close enough for them to SPIT on. You know this one, yeah? Everybody knows it. Heard it somewhere, from someone. Maybe even from someone who says it happened to them. And maybe it did happen to someone, somewhere. It's possible. People do all sorts of things at demonstrations. But the thing is, there are no contemporary accounts...

HOUSTON – Paternity testing shows presidential brother Neil Bush did not father the child of his mistress-turned-wife, attorneys in a slander case against his former wife said yesterday. Sharon Bush, Neil Bush's former wife of 23 years, is accused of spreading rumors that the child at the center of a defamation lawsuit was fathered by her ex-husband. The suit was filed last year by Robert Andrews, who previously was married to Bush's current wife, Maria Andrews Bush. Robert Andrews, whose DNA matched that of the boy, claims the rumors harmed his 3-year-old son. "You can't unring a bell," said Andrews'...

What to make of the death of Sheikh Ahmed Yassin, Hamas's beloved spiritual leader OKAY, I give up. What, exactly, is a "spiritual leader"? I'm curious, because, as any American who reads newspapers or watches TV knows, that's what Sheikh Yassin was: A spiritual leader. I never met the man, but I sure wish I had, because, after all, one can never have too many scholarly, elevated, Godly, spiritual leaders in one's life, can one? I know his successor, Rantisi, is a good man, too, because the same publications and networks describe him as a pediatrician. You know, a children's...
