The race to be New Hampshire’s next governor remains tight. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely New Hampshire voters finds Republican Ovide Lamontagne with 48% of the vote to Democrat Maggie Hassan’s 46%. Five percent (5%) are undecided at this point. (To see survey question wording, click here.) The numbers were reversed last week when Hassan held 48% of the vote to Lamontagne’s 46%, highlighting the closeness of the race. In late September, Lamontagne had a 48% to 44% advantage over Hassan. Ninety-seven percent (97%) of voters in the Granite State are certain they will vote this November....

New Hampshire Public Radio (NHPR) conducted a gubernatorial debate on 19 September 2012. Nathanael “Teddy” Nappen, Troop 75 Bow, Daniel Webster Council, has completed his Eagle Scout Service Project, which was to help restore the historic Wilson Hill Pistol Club located at 1732 Lake Shore Road in Manchester. This indoor shooting club provides firearm safety training and marksmanship skills to the public and is a non-profit organization. Scouts can also earn their rifle merit badge at this club. The building was built in 1948, and the exterior was in disrepair. Teddy was assisted in the restoration project by 24 volunteers, of whom the majority were scouts and scout parents from Troop 75.
