Right-wing rocker Ted Nugent made a rambunctious stop on his “Great White Buffalo Tour” at Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth on Saturday night. “Uncle Ted,” as he lovingly calls himself, took plenty of shots at President Barack Obama while his “hunting buddies” (the audience) rocked out to his raging glam metal. Nugent is notorious for running his mouth about topics like hunting laws, gun rights, and the current state of the government, and this Stockyards crowd was ready and waiting. Here are the top five jaw-dropping statements from Nugent on Saturday night:

Louisiana --(Ammoland.com)- When it comes to guns, there is plenty of spin in Bill O’Reilly’s “No Spin Zone.” The zone has been infected with a bad case of yellow journalism. Mr. O’Reilly is either woefully ignorant of the most basic of firearm laws, nomenclature, rules and requirements, or he has a clear anti-gun agenda and is a willing puppet for those who want to end the Second Amendment. Mr. O’Reilly recently stated on his TV program, “The O’Reilly Factor,” that anyone in America can go out and buy a machine gun or bazooka without any reporting requirements at all. Are...

STURTEVANT- Rock star Ted Nugent came to town to campaign for former governor and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Tommy Thompson on the heels of controversial comments about the Colorado shooting. Nugent was in Sturtevant for a Thompson rally, and the Second Amendment took center stage -- just a day after Nugent said what happened in Colorado could have been different if the audience had guns of their own. Ted Nugent got the crowd going at a campaign rally for Tommy Thompson Thursday. But the outspoken rocker is rocking the boat after tweeting about the Colorado shooting, "...we SALUTE the brave...

If you haven’t heard all the recent chatter about Ted Nugent, you’re likely living in a hovel in the far reaches of Siberia. As a result of his highly outspoken views in support of freedom, the Second Amendment, and the American way of life in general, Ted has been persecuted by many. I have a number of things in common with Ted, as many of us do. I love music, guitars, and firearms, especially the 10mm automatic – Ted’s all-time favorite pistol cartridge. I caught up with Ted at his Mescalero, New Mexico concert the other night and had the...

Over the past few weeks, rocker Ted Nugent has been making headlines. From his controversial speech at the National Rifle Association conference to his recent drama over hunting missteps with the U.S. government, Nugent has had a busy month. In a radio interview with Glenn Beck this morning, the musician delved into the details surrounding his recent guilty plea for illegally killing a black bear in Alaska — details that appear to show he’s being targeted by the Feds.

Hard rocker and legendary gun rights advocate Ted Nugent is no stranger to controversy — that became all too apparent in just the last few days, during which time his comments at the 2012 NRA Show in St. Louis earned Uncle Ted a visit from the Secret Service. As such, it’s painfully clear The Nuge is one of the most outspoken voices when it comes to hunting, fishing, trapping, shooting and pretty much anything outdoors. Luckily, our good friends over at Sportsmen Vote were able to get an exclusive interview with the Motor City Madman. When asked for his first...

BANGOR, Maine — Waterfront Concerts promoter Alex Gray said Sunday that he doesn’t plan to call off Ted Nugent’s Bangor performance despite remarks from two city councilors that the controversial rock star shouldn’t be allowed to play in the city. Last week, Councilor Charlie Longo emailed a letter to Gray saying that the concert series shouldn’t allow Nugent to perform because of comments he made during a National Rifle Association convention in St. Louis. Longo later posted the letter to his website. During the convention, Nugent was quoted saying, “If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will...

Rocker Ted Nugent has been cleared by the Secret Service of making threats against the president after what the Motor City Madman called a “positive meeting” in Oklahoma City, but the announcement will affirm what Northwest gun rights activists have been saying this week. The folks on the Northwest Firearms forum have been carrying on two discussions about the Nugent controversy, here and here, and at the WaGuns forum here. "Good, solid, professional meeting concluding that I have never made any threats of violence towards anyone. The meeting could not have gone better.”—Ted Nugent, as quoted by Reuters. This column...

Citing inflammatory language while expressing his displeasure with President Barack Obama, the military has uninvited rock star and conservative political activist Ted Nugent from performing at Fort Knox in Kentucky, according to the U.S. Army post’s Facebook page. “After learning of opening act Ted Nugent’s recent public comments about the president of the United States, Fort Knox leadership decided to cancel his performance on the installation," it's Facebook posting says. So far, the June 23 concert remains on the Fort Knox schedule, with REO Speedwagon and Styx listed as “co-headliners,” but army personnel said they will grant requests for refunds...

(CNN) -- Rocker and avid hunter Ted Nugent has agreed to pay a fine, serve probation and record a public service announcement as part of a deal to plead guilty to transporting an illegally killed black bear in Alaska, according to court documents. The plea deal, filed Friday in U.S. District Court in Anchorage, Alaska, stems from federal allegations that arose during a bear hunt in May 2009 that was filmed for Nugent's television show, "Spirit of the Wild," on the Outdoor Channel. News of the plea deal broke a day after Nugent was questioned and cleared by the Secret...

SEATTLE -- Just when they thought Ted Nugent didn’t have any more arrows to unleash, it turns out he did: specifically, an arrow aimed at a bear during a hunting trip in southeastern Alaska that has now landed the rocker-turned-outdoorsman in federal court.

The disgraced Secret Service supervisors accused of engaging in a cocaine-fueled hooker party on the taxpayer dime will still cash in on lucrative taxpayer-funded pensions. Three Secret Service agents tasked with protecting President Barack Obama have been terminated since it was revealed that they reportedly caroused with prostitutes and drugs in Colombia. The Washington Post Thursday identified the two supervisors who have been forced out of the agency. Supervisor David Randall Chaney, 48, has been allowed to retire, while Greg Stokes, the assistant special agent in charge of the K-9 division, has been fired with cause. A third low-level officer...

Following rocker Ted Nugent's recent comments about President Barack Obama, he has been dropped from a scheduled performance at Fort Knox, the post announced Thursday afternoon. Nugent set off a controversy at last weekend's National Rifle Association convention when he criticized high-ranking members of Obama's administration and offered support for possible Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney. In a video posted on YouTube by the NRA, Nugent said, "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year. If you can't go home and get everybody in your lives...

Gun Rights: The Secret Service wants to talk to an iconic rocker about metaphorical references to a movie while the administration ignores genuine threats of violence. When Ted Nugent addressed the annual convention of the National Rifle Association, he used words no more strident than when, at a June 2008 Philadelphia fundraiser, candidate Barack Obama told of how he would respond to Republican attacks. "If they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun," said the former community organizer familiar with the street gangs of Chicago. Attempting to rally fellow NRA members already agitated by the administration's push...

Rocker Ted Nugent said he had an amicable meeting with the Secret Service on Thursday, seemingly ending the dustup over controversial comments Nugent made at the National Rifle Assn. convention earlier this week. Nugent, a longtime conservative and NRA board member who endorsed Mitt Romney for the Republican presidential nomination, had Democrats howling after comments in which he described the Obama administration as "vile, evil and America hating." If Obama won reelection, Nugent said he "will either be dead or in jail," and also called on conservatives to "ride into that battlefield and chop their heads off in November."
