My dear friend Lisa and her family are suffering a terrible lose today. Her dear Mother was found dead today around noon in her bed by her brother. Her Mom's name is Corinne. Please pray for this family. Corinne's granddaughters were deeply in grief as I comforted them when they got word since I was there. I have not seen Lisa yet but can only imagine. Corinne was healthy and mid 60's further adding to the shock of this all. Thank you!

If I could ask for prayers for my brother-in-law and his mother (My mother-in-law). She is 80 years old and has cared for him since he was diagnosed with schizophrenia in his early 20's. He has lung cancer and hospice was called in today to set up his bed, etc. She is devastated. They had a very special bond. We wanted him to make it to Christmas. He is looking forward to the family being there.

My good friend's 53 year old mother has been battling cancer for two years. She has decided to end treatment (chemo) to manage pain and nausea. Doctors have given her 2-6 mo. They're asking for prayers. Her first name is Margaret.

Please pray for a member of my family. They got clocked during sports practice and have had headaches & trouble concentrating. Been to a neurologist and is having yet another mri and will be out of action yet another two weeks. Thanks.

My daughter had her surgery today. They removed her left ovary but no signs that the cancer has spread. Thank you all for your prayers. My granddaughter will be 10 weeks old tomorrow. She was sent here for a reason.

My older brother underwent surgery for a disk problem four days ago. The surgery apparently went well but the recovery is going very poorly. Your prayers are appreciated.

Prayers requested, please. My young second cousin and three other men are missing since Tuesday. They were flying from Marshall, Texas, to Casper, Wyoming, in a small Piper aircraft. No word from them. Search crews are out, as is his parents (dad is a pilot). No emergency beacon activated. They think they had a ping from a cell phone but found nothing in that area. Former KNWA news anchor Matt Turner has died in a car accident. It happened Saturday night on Interstate 30 near Bryant, Arkansas. He leaves behind his wife Julee and their young daughter Preslee, along with his mother and brother. One of my cats, Whitey, is sick. Until last Friday, she's been very active and eating a lot until she became kind of skittish and aloof and cut back on her eating. She sleeps a lot and still drinks water but eats sporatically. I think it could be a hyperactive thyroid, I had a similar experience with another cat where she was put on meds and responded well and lived a few years afterward. My other guess is maybe bad teeth, but I point towards the former. I'm hoping it is that or at least something that is treatable. I'm...

He is still on a ventilator, feeding tube, and in a coma. But his body temperature has been in the normal range for a couple of days now - PTL. After some patience causing delays in their departure, his parents are leaving today for Germany and will have more to say in a day or two. The last update was that the medical folks caring for Alex would like to see him on a plane back to a hospital here in the states by Friday. Prayer request for my first ex-wife. Last I heard, they were trying to set up surgery to remove her appendix. She is in hospital.Yeah, I know, ex... but she is the mother of my children and my grandbabies grandmother. The old gal could use some prayers.

We lost another FReeper last week - Waco. His sister GrannyK wanted to post about it. He was very active on FR until May of this year when he entered the hospital. He was an Air Force veteran (74 yrs young) & very conservative.

I have a good friend who let me know his nephew was, once again, in the hospital this week. He's had a life full of hospital stays and doctors. Poor little guy was born with just one lung and has just one kidney. He's autistic and and has also been recently diagnosed with Tourrett's. His blood pressure is very elevated and they are keeping him in the hospital for awhile.

This is a prayer request for my youngest daughter who has been diagnosed with an agressive breast cancer and is facing a bilateral mastectomy this wendesday followed in 2 weeks with removal of her ovaries. Unfourtunatly breast cancer runs in the female side of the family. Her Mother is a 20 year survivor but her Grandmother and Greataunt passed away from it. Any and all prayers are welcome.
