Public Policy Polling: Marriage still close in Maine via kwout

Raleigh, N.C. – Two weeks out from election day Maine voters are divided right down the middle when it comes to whether they will reject the state’s law allowing same sex couples to marry. 48% say they will vote to over turn the law while 48% say they will vote to keep it with only 4% of the electorate still undecided. A quick quesition for our Tech Brigade…a week ago, I seriously misplaced my cell phone, as in, it’s 80% sure it is lost in my house, but the best of research yields nada. Can anyone remember...there are 2 files in Win98 that "remember" the drivers database. It was a trick in years past, that if you corrupted your drivers, you could "force" a rescan of the database by deleting these two. I though they ended in .idx and lived in the system folder, but I am hitting a dead wall and can't remember them.

The question is at the bottom of the page, the effect on Conservatism is a tough call unless McCain changes the type of politician he's been over the last decade or more. Conservatives would probably unite if Obama is President but Obama will use typical divide a conquer strategies against the leadership of the opposition to say and the media will broadcast the message loud and clear. If you support my oppositions position you are radical, right wing, redneck, racist. Otherwise known as the 4 R's of the Republican Party.

I wanted to get any of Wright's books from our local library, but neither they nor any of the 50 libraries on their network have any of them. I am curious to see if their is continuity of the hate filled speech in his writings. If there is it would be more difficult for Obama to distance himself from the "pastor" as his books were written some time ago.
