Chris Wilson of Wilson Research Strategies has said publicly that while he was working for Herman Cain at the National Restaurant Association (NRA) in the late 1990′s that he personally saw Cain sexually harass a woman at a restaurant in Virginia although Wilson has not said exactly what he believes constituted his claim of “harassment.” WHO IS CHRIS WILSON? Chris Wilson was the Executive Director of the Republican Party of Texas under then-governor George W. Bush. Chris Wilson worked very closely with Karl Rove. Rove was known to us in Texas as the “master of dirty political tricks. ” I...

Cain says Forbes concluded Perry camp was source of harassment leak Justin Sink November 3, 2011 Herman Cain said Forbes Magazine - and not his campaign - was responsible for the concluding that Rick Perry's campaign leaked the story of sexual harassment allegations during Cain's tenure as the president of the National Restaurant Association. "A reporter did this research and came up with these facts, we didn't," Cain said Thursday on Sean Hannity's radio show. "That was the reporter that wrote the report for Forbes." But despite adamant denials from the Perry camp, Cain said he still doesn't "see any...

ATLANTA (AP) - Republican candidate Newt Gingrich is decrying media coverage of the sexual harassment claims against rival Herman Cain and says that Cain's tax plans deserve more attention. Gingrich has told WSB radio in Atlanta on Wednesday that he thinks it's "disgusting" that the news media has started what Gingrich described as a "witch hunt" against Cain. It was revealed this week that Cain's former employer, the National Restaurant Association, settled in the 1990s with two women who claimed that Cain had sexually harassed them. A third woman has told The Associated Press that she considered filing a sexual...

Outsider Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain is spending a tumultuous week in Washington courting the GOP establishment. And, at least for now, it seems that the establishment likes him — despite allegations of sexual harassment that continue to surface. Following a series of private meetings with the Georgia businessman early in the week, Republican Members pronounced themselves impressed with Cain and unconcerned about the sexual harassment claims that have dogged the White House hopeful since Politico reported them Sunday. Cain spoke today with Members in several private settings as he sought to boost support for his campaign, sell his controversial...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain has hauled $1 million in donations in recent days, a spokesman said on Thursday, despite accusations of sexual harassment that have consumed his campaign. The former pizza executive's fundraising took a jump once his ascent in the polls began about a month ago. He brought in $2 million in the first two weeks of October. Until then, he had raised about $5.2 million after entering the race in May.

Washington was all a-Twitter (literally) Monday over Politico's story about the sexual harassment charges against Herman Cain -- and about Cain's serial self-contradictions. Faithful Fox News viewers saw him in the afternoon saying he didn't know the terms of a settlement reached with the complainants and then saw him tell Greta Van Susteren in the 10 p.m. hour that he did. The Politico story, quoting no named sources, described Cain's alleged misconduct as "conversations allegedly filled with innuendo or personal questions of a sexually suggestive nature" and "physical gestures that were not overtly sexual." That sounds bad but not horrible....

If you are a conservative and a minority, watch out. Liberals and the liberal media are out to get you. Just ask Herman Cain. We've seen it before. And Americans are sick and tired of it. The character assassination of conservatives is standard operating procedure for the liberal, progressive media. This stems from a particular form of demented thinking that seems to afflict the majority of liberals and progressives. In his book "The Liberal Mind, the Psychological Causes of Political Madness," board certified forensic psychiatrist Lyle H. Rossiter, Jr. details his view that liberals do indeed suffer from a form...

Donald Trump urges Herman Cain to "bring a major lawsuit against those two women if what they assert is false."

It’s been fascinating to watch both the Herman Cain camp and the Republican establishment react to the sexual harassment allegations brought to light about Herman Cain by Politico. While it is still too soon to determine what exactly did happen years ago when Cain headed the National Restaurant Association (NRA), two things are clear — Cain is still winging it (and not well), and the Republican establishment has been expertly conditioned by the left when it comes to kneejerk accusations of “racism.” In politics, the reaction to a controversy is very often more enlightening and important than the details of...

RUSH: Okay, moving on now to the Herman Cain saga, last night I got a note from a friend. "Rush: The Politico website's gone nuts. They've just unleashed attack after attack after attack." So I went to The Politico website, I looked at The Politico website, and I started laughing because my friend was right. I just had a different interpretation. I looked at 'em as going over the edge. There must have been five or six different links to Herman Cain stories about "the women," about lawyers for "the women," about how Cain has blown up the security or...

Herman Cain said this on PBS NewsHour last night, regarding his assertion of a growing military threat from China (VIDEO):And secondly, we already have superiority in terms of our military capability, and I plan to get away from making cutting our defense a priority and make investing in our military capability a priority, going back to my statement: peace through strength and clarity. So yes they’re a military threat. They’ve indicated that they’re trying to develop nuclear capability and they want to develop more aircraft carriers like we have. So yes, we have to consider them a military threat. Immediately,...

Was the recent attack on Herman Cain’s presidential campaign a professional hit job? Absolutely, says Herman Cain. And he says he knows just where to look for the guy who did it: At 815 Slaters Lane in Alexandria, Virginia, a low-slung former warehouse in the shadow of a coal plant. There, beside rusting rail lines, is the home of OnMessage Inc., a Republican-leaning consulting firm recently hired to bolster Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s presidential campaign. So far, neither of the two alleged complainants from Herman Cain’s tenure at the National Restaurant Association have come forward publicly, although it appears at least one would like NRA to release her from her confidentiality agreement to do so. However, a pollster who worked for NRA at the time told KTOK in Oklahoma that he witnessed both incidents — and that if the women talk, Cain’s candidacy would be over: Interviewed today on KTOK’s Mullins in the Morning, [Chris] Wilson, of Wilson-Perkins-Allen Opinion Research headquartered in Washington, D.C. explained he was a witness to the incident. “I was the...

Just as Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain predicted, he has become the most recent victim of the race-baiting left's high-tech lynching of prominent, conservative black men. Days before the Cain sexual harassment smear emerged from the sewers of liberal trash journalism, MSNBC's Martin Bashir hosted contributor Karen Finney who proclaimed that conservatives only liked Cain because, "they think he's a black man who knows his place." As Bashir actually thanked her on-air for making such an offensive and ignorant remark (far from being a submissive position, conservatives are supporting Cain in his effort to ascend to the highest office in...

Washington (CNN) – Herman Cain's campaign says it raised more than $400,000 on Monday, a "clear vote of confidence from his supporters," after the story broke alleging he had been accused of sexual harassment while head of the National Restaurant Association. "In the last 24 hours, the Friends of Herman Cain campaign has had the single best day of fundraising since the start of the campaign," Mark Block, Cain's chief of staff, said Tuesday night. Block said Monday's donations, both online and by phone, doubled the normal daily average in Cain's campaign to become the Republican presidential nominee.

Mark Levin: Politico Is A "Phony Website ... Not News, It's Leftism" Mark Levin slams Politico for what he says is a smear against Herman Cain. Levin also goes on to lambaste Kenneth P. Vogel, a writer that contributed to Politico's story against Cain. "This guy is a hit man dressed up as a reporter," Levin said about Vogel. "In fact, this entire political site, Politico, is a phony website that might as well be run by MoveOn.org or the Daily Kos. It's not news, it's leftism." Later in his program, not included in this clip, Levin says Politico is...

Embattled presidential candidate Herman Cain decided to try to sing away his blues during an appearance at the National Press Club today. The former pizza magnate burst into an a capella rendition of a gospel song as questions about alleged decade-old claims of sexual harassment swirled. Saying he wanted to share his faith with the assembled reporters, Cain used his rich baritone voice to nail a verse from the Dottie Rambo number “He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need.”

Not many presidential candidates would break into a gospel song of forgiveness and redemption for a packed room of reporters who have spent the day doggedly inquiring about allegations of sexual harassment. But not many candidates are Herman Cain. The Republican presidential contender spent a whirlwind Monday grappling with potentially devastating reports that he behaved in an inappropriate sexual manner toward two women who worked for him when he was president of the National Restaurant Association. Both women were reportedly offered, and accepted, settlement proposals that included five-figure payouts and confidentiality agreements, according to reports. But that news, which would...
