At the end of Joe Klein's stupefying defense of Susan Rice and the Obama admin's misinformation campaign on the Benghazi outrage on today's Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough asked Time's Klein whether President Obama had invited him to play golf, "because you are just gobbling up the talking points like Thanksgiving turkey." H/t NB reader Carmel. Here were some of Klein's astounding assertions: There are no unanswered questions about Benghazi. Ambassador Stevens had all the security he wanted. Rice's talking points were "absolutely accurate"--it was a spontaneous demonstration by extremists. Al qaeda was not involved in the attack. Not clear that...

Somebody has tried to downplay the terror attack in Libya. If that person is The President then I ask why? If The President lied, Why would he lie? Why did he lie?

Trust is an invaluable asset for any leader. It's promised in every political campaign. But trust must be earned and reearned every day, and it's hard to regain once lost. President Obama came into office promising hope, change, and unprecedented transparency. After four years of unimpressive economic progress, unabashed partisanship, and imperial power politics, he's asking us to entrust him with another four years in office. Are you ready to trust him again? Has he earned your trust or do you have serious questions that go unanswered? Why would he sign bills that had to be passed for us to...

Now that the convention action is finally heating up, we can fully expect the liberal propaganda machine to spin into high gear, as it were. From the phony hurricane allusions designed to invoke the cherished dogma that Republicans are to blame for everything, including acts of God, to their ongoing, fear-mongering ditties, Democrats are in full attack mode. .....How have they affected the mindset of this country? Let me count the ways: I'm a good person. This paean to the culture of relativism has been the catalyst for the breakdown of personal responsibility and the cult of victimhood which is...

In yet another classic display of the liberal media, CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien has been caught red-handed using left-wing blog Talking Points memo to counter Virginia House of Delegates member Barbara Comstock on the House GOP budget. As Ali A. Ackbar of Viral Read discovered: Tonight, she was the substitute host for Anderson Cooper, a program that boasts of its reputation for “keeping [politicians] honest.” During her interview with Virginia House of Delegates Republican member Barbara Comstock, O’Brien became visibly flustered and was actually caught doing finger stress exercises as she attempt to insert editorial commentary while her guest, a...

CNN’s Soledad O’Brien is no stranger to controversy or rightful journalistic scrutiny. She’s frequently been exposed for reading Wikipedia or talking points on the air, always disparaging a conservative guest on her program. Tonight, she was the substitute host for Anderson Cooper, a program that boasts of its reputation for “keeping [politicians] honest.” During her interview with Virginia House of Delegates Republican member Barbara Comstock, O’Brien became visibly flustered and was actually caught doing finger stress exercises as she attempt to insert editorial commentary while her guest, a former skilled Republican operative, defended the House GOP budget, designed by Budget...

I have watched Fox News since 1998 and have seen alot of ups and downs with Bill O'Reilly, but tonight's talking points memo of "The Factor" were so full of falsehoods and misconceptions that I need the banglist gang to write in to this pinhead. O'Reilly's talking points was on the 2nd Amendment, Guns, and Murder. He generally made some good points on the purpose of the 2nd Amendment and the fact that gun control doesn't work. However he went WAY off the reservation and bought into the liberal journalist LIES of the misconceptions between legal, semi-automatic firearms, and their...

Video comparing the President's budget speech last year with his budget speech this year. Hilarity ensues.

This video shows Danish broadcaster Thomas Buch-Anderson from Detektor analyzing some of what President Obama has to say about other nations. (Video at website) You will find this rather humorous. ;-)

I applaud the liberals out there who are helping Rick Perry become the nation's 45th president. It isn't intentional, but they can't help themselves. They stick with their 1980s playbook, oblivious to the damage they do to their cause - and how they benefit their target. I refer to the efforts by liberals, when not extolling the virtues of compromise and civility, to eviscerate any conservative who dares to challenge their agenda. It exposes the left's inability to craft a plan to deal with the crises of the moment, and sends voters in search of an alternative. It starts at...

"Ignorance is bliss" as they say. When Palin resigned the left had a conniption fit. Their nearly 200 frivolous lawsuits then became "null and void". The left wing media also knew and were obviously horrified that a major conservative force for the 2010 election was now unfettered and motivated. Sarah Palin was personally the major factor for about 30 primary defeats of RINO Republicans... She also was free to work for the general election victories in most of those races. November 2, 2010 became an election massacre of historical proportions in a significant part because of her efforts. Many of...

No one is more of a master of political talking points than Pres. Barack Obama. Remember “shovel-ready projects”? These were construction projects where the shovels were supposed to start digging the moment the government gave them the “stimulus” money. Two years later, Obama can joke about the fact that the shovels were not as ready as he thought. In reality, the shovels were never ready. It can take forever to get all the environmental approvals to build anything in today’s political and legal climate. If Obama didn’t know that, his advisers surely did. He can treat it as a joke...

Last weekend on “ThisWeek” Senator Charles Schumer was cold busted using his Democrat Caucus talking points. He was caught by a reluctant Christiane Amanpour. Thus proving that everything that a Democrat says is, one, false and extremely coordinated and two, a Democrat needs someone or something to demonize. For eight years, it was George W. Bush now it’s the Tea Party, Sarah Palin, Mike Pence and Michelle Bachman. Sen. Schumer uses the word extreme as a false adjective when talking about Republicans, according to Schumer as he was told to do this by the Democrat caucus. (see :59sec video)

Vitriol: the latest liberal talking point big word! vit·ri·ol/ˈvitrēəl/Noun 1. Sulfuric acid. 2. Cruel and bitter criticism. You can always tell what the useful idiots been told to say and what to write.

This can't be happening again. A terrible tragedy, followed by vile recrimination and politically motivated accusations. Were no lessons learned after the slander of conservatives following the Oklahoma City bombing? Aside from the terrible specter of psychotic gunmen legislating with bullets, we now have to deal with the inanities of shameless members of the nattering class in a redux of the Clinton blame-game. In a "Special Comment" segment aired the day of the Giffords shooting, MSNBC's Keith Olbermann began his segment by laying the blame for this shooting at the feet of Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck, and others. Olbermann apologized...

One of the telling signs carried in a Tea Party demonstration said: "Spread my work ethic, not my wealth." It may be better to teach people how to fish, rather than giving them fish -- but too many politicians give them fish, in order to get their votes. * University students rioting against tuition increases on both sides of the Atlantic are painful signs of the degeneracy of our times. The idea that taxpayers owe it to you to pay for what you want suggests that much of today's education fails to instill reality, and instead panders to a self-centered...

Torture Torture is being committed by Iraqi security on its own people. On June 2004 Iraq became a sovereign nation and the coalition nations no longer had an obligation to monitor Iraq’s security forces. According to the UK Guardian the U.S. issued an order to troops to ignore abuse while the New York Times reported that the soldiers did intervene and reported torture when discovered. If the Coalition ignored abuse then why were they reported in the leaked documents? In reality the soldiers did their jobs by alerting leadership it was happening. Oh my, WikiLeaks exposed a truth the press...

There are times when I flirt with the notion that the country would be better off with divided government. If Republicans took control, say, of the House, there would be pressure on both parties to behave more responsibly. The GOP would be pushed to stop carping and posturing, and start governing. Democrats would have political cover to make hard choices on entitlement spending, taxes and the like. As every politician knows, bipartisan cliff-jumping is a safer sport than going solo. That's the theory. Then there's John Boehner. The man who would be speaker outlined his agenda Tuesday in a speech...

Carly Fiorina, 55, has been contending with chemotherapy and radiation treatments and reconstructive surgery because of breast cancer, so she is understandably undaunted by the relatively minor challenge of winning a U.S. Senate seat in this state that last elected a freshman Republican senator in 1982, that has not supported a Republican presidential candidate since 1988, and that has not elected a right-to-life candidate in statewide voting since 1998. This race will test the power of the rising Republican wave. Fiorina might surf it from here to Capitol Hill because her opponent, Barbara Boxer, 69, is the Senate’s fiercest liberal,...
