Conan O'Brien staffers are furious that they're losing their "Tonight Show" jobs while O'Brien walks away from the fiasco with $30 million, sources tell Page Six. About 200 of O'Brien's production team, who last year uprooted from New York to Los Angeles for his show, are fuming that they've been overlooked as Conan negotiates his way out of NBC. "The production team feels betrayed," one source said. "They don't understand why Conan couldn't have just agreed to move the show to 12:05 a.m. and see how things turn out, which would have allowed them all to keep their jobs. But...

I Just Received this Press Release from Conan O'Brien's "People" People of Earth: In the last few days, I've been getting a lot of sympathy calls, and I want to start by making it clear that no one should waste a second feeling sorry for me. For 17 years, I've been getting paid to do what I love most and, in a world with real problems, I've been absurdly lucky. That said, I've been suddenly put in a very public predicament and my bosses are demanding an immediate decision.

It seemed like a good idea to hire Conan O'Brien to host "The Tonight Show" as Jay Leno's replacement. But O'Brien's huge ratings didn't follow him to his new home, and now, PopEater is reporting that NBC executives are already having conversations about replacing him.

Here is video of "The Tonight Show's" Conan O'Brien making fun of President Obama's interview this past weekend with CBS News' "60 Minutes." Let's just say they did some creative editing in this video! . . . . (VIDEO)

The Conan visit was fun – the best part was that we had Wounded Warriors with us in the audience. I can’t express how proud I am of their courage and patriotism. I’m extremely happy that Laura Ingraham had the great idea to put the simple coat from the cover of my book to good use. It’s being auctioned to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project and the Fisher House. Laura pulled it all together with a live auction that continues through December 18th. Sarah Palin will make a surprise appearance on "The Tonight Show With Conan O'Brien" Friday night. Security was thick around the NBC stage Friday afternoon, while the former vice presidential candidate was hurriedly rehearsing a skit. Palin, who ensures high TV ratings wherever she goes, was a last-minute booking for NBC. Sources say members of the NBC audience were led outdoors when first Palin arrived for rehearsals in order to keep her appearance a secret from them. Lifestyles of the hip and famous keep on rolling for the world-champion Chula Vista Park View Little Leaguers. The boys were bused to Burbank yesterday for an appearance last night on “The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien.” Never mind that most of the 12- and 13-year-olds didn't know Conan O'Brien from Conan the Barbarian. “Nope,” said Park View second baseman Bulla Graft. “Never heard of him.” After O'Brien's monologue and Sandra Bullock's appearance to promote her new movie, up to the stage stepped all 12 players, wearing baby-blue T-shirts and gray baseball pants — and earning the audience's hearty applause.

McMahon's death was confirmed by his publicist. McMahon was perhaps best known for his work on the Tonight Show, where he served as announcer and co-host from 1962 to 1992. McMahon also hosted the talent competition Star Search from 1983 to 1995. Born in Los Angeles on March 6, 1923, McMahon was raised in Lowell, Massachusetts. He worked as a bingo caller and carnival barker before moving into radio and TV. McMahon found...

Lowell native Ed McMahon, the legendary "H-e-e-e-e-re’s Johnny" pitchman, has died following a long battle with cancer. McMahon, 86, died shortly after midnight at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center surrounded by his wife, Pam, and other family members, his publicist, Howard Bragman, told the Associated Press today. McMahon became a star on the "Tonight Show" with Johnny Carson where the duo had a historic run from 1962 to 1992. He played Carson’s foil for decades, setting up jokes and skits and suppressing his trademark laughter through it all.

Conan Gives NBC Big Lead In Adult Demos My phone has been ringing off the hook this morning with the news about Conan O'Brien's "blow-out" lead in adult demographics most desirable to advertisers during his first week hosting The Tonight Show. Of course, this is impoirtant info, more so than households. Then again, that's NBC's mantra: we don't need eyeballs as long as we have key demos. Actually, both count. But let the gushing begin: UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – June 11, 2009 – Conan is the new King of Late Night. "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" was the dominant...

An English friend of mine got his first dose of Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien last week, and commented that while Jay seemed friendly and confident, his "Tonight Show" replacement was more of a cipher. He wondered, "Do you think O'Brien will fit in?" That's the multimillion-dollar question. O'Brien has only taken over shows, and never originated his own. He spent 16 years remaking David Letterman's "Late Night" into his own comedic image, but this time, he's walking into an institution. NBC's "Tonight" is bigger than O'Brien, which means he's got to conform to expectations -- while trying to give...

A rare moment in American television history – the passing of the baton in The Tonight Show - will come tonight as Jay Leno steps down as the king of late night talk. Leno took over as host of the NBC show 17 years ago from another veteran, Johnny Carson. The latter famously hosted the chat and variety show for 30 years. The five night a week show is one of the most enduring fixtures of American television, having started in 1954 with Steve Allen as host. Leno, a notorious workaholic, cancelled the show only twice - when he checked...

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) - The top bowler for the Special Olympics looks forward to meeting President Barack Obama in an alley. "He bowled a 129. I bowl a 300. I could beat that score easily," Michigan's Kolan McConiughey (KO-lahn Mc-KAHNA-he) told The Associated Press in an interview Friday.

Reporting from Chicago -- When she met Barack Obama two years ago, Caitlin Cox proudly wore the two bronze medals she had won at the Special Olympics. The then-Illinois senator grinned as she showed him pictures of her signature bubble-gum-pink bowling ball and posed for photographs with her. Cox, who has Down syndrome, excitedly recalls that meeting each time she sees Obama's photo on a magazine cover or hears him mentioned on TV. Her ears perked up again Friday morning as her parents discussed the president at breakfast. Her mother, Suzanne Thompson, told her that Obama had made a joke...
