President Donald Trump announced Wednesday that the U.S. will close all “non-essential traffic” across the Northern border amid the Coronavirus pandemic. Further, Trump assured the public on Twitter that “trade will not be affected.” On Tuesday, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the closure of his country’s borders to non-citizens with the exception of the U.S. The border with the U.S. was to remain open with “the level of integration of our two economies,” Trudeau said during his press conference. The Trump administration will provide further details on the matter and SaraACarter.com will update our readers.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump has clinched the Republican Party nomination, surpassing the necessary delegate threshold.Trump, who had only token opposition, now has more than the 1,276 delegates needed after winning Tuesday’s Florida and Illinois primaries, according to The Associated Press’ delegate count. That makes Trump the undisputed Republican nominee as Democrats continue to wage a contested primary contest between former Vice President Joe Biden and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. This is the earliest the delegate calendar permits a Republican to clinch the nomination.

Earlier, the Welt am Sonntag German newspaper reported that U.S. President Donald Trump had offered funds to lure CureVac to the United States, and the German government was making counter-offers to tempt it to stay. There was no comment immediately available from the U.S. embassy in Berlin when contacted by Reuters over the report. “The German government is very interested in ensuring that vaccines and active substances against the new coronavirus are also developed in Germany and Europe,” a Health Ministry spokeswoman said, confirming a quote in the newspaper.
  • A Conservative Agenda Unleashed on the Federal Courts. President Trump’s imprint on the nation’s appeals courts has been swift and historic. He has named judges with records on a range of issues important to Republicans — and to his re-election.

As a Republican candidate for the Texas Supreme Court, Don R. Willett flaunted his uncompromising conservatism, boasting of endorsements from groups with “pro-life, pro-faith, pro-family” credentials. “I intend to build such a fiercely conservative record on the court that I will be unconfirmable for any future federal judicial post — and proudly so,” a Republican rival quoted him telling party leaders. Judge Willett served a dozen years on the Texas bench. But rather than disqualifying him, his record there propelled him to the very job he had deemed beyond reach. President Trump nominated him to a federal appeals court, and...

The White House is expected to announce that the U.S. will broaden its European travel ban, adding the United Kingdom and Ireland to its list. Under the restrictions, American citizens, green card holders and others are still allowed to return home to the U.S., but will be funneled to 13 airports and be subjected to health screenings and quarantine orders, according to two people familiar with the plan who spoke on condition of anonymity before the official announcement expected Saturday. …

“We’re going to fill it right up to the top, saving the American taxpayer billions and billions of dollars, helping our oil industry [and furthering] that wonderful goal — which we’ve achieved, which nobody thought was possible — of energy independence,” Trump said. Trump’s announcement follows market turmoil in the international market when Russia and Saudi Arabia’s negotiations recently broke down and the Saudis announced they were increasing production. The Department of Energy describes the importance of the SPR: Established in the aftermath of the 1973-74 oil embargo, the SPR was established to counter a disruption in commercial oil supplies...

The number makes me dizzy.”

The Canadian Parliament on Friday ratified the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement on trade, making Canada the third and final country needed to make the trade pact official and replace the 1993 North American Free Trade Agreement. The USMCA had faced opposition in the Canadian Parliament and became stuck in a committee for several weeks. That delayed the adoption of the deal for two months after the United States ratified it and even held a signing ceremony. Mexico approved the deal last year. "Now that the USMCA has been approved by all three countries, a historic new chapter for North American trade has...

A clean bill with the Hyde Amendment attached to it will receive approval from the House of Representatives tonight and will be signed into law on Monday after the Senate approves it. As LifeNews reported, Speaker Nancy Pelosi is so dedicated to promoting abortion and forcing Americans to fund killing babies in abortion that she has been caught trying to add...

On March 12, the London premiere of Mulan had just wrapped when the film’s director Niki Caro received the call everyone was anticipating. Executives in Los Angeles had made the decision to pull the Disney tentpole and were about to make the announcement, scuttling plans for a European junket that was had just kicked off. The move didn’t come as a surprise. After all, less than a day before, President Donald Trump announced a new ban on most travel from Europe, aimed at stopping the spread of the coronavirus. That travel ban torpedoed any plans to promote the $200 million...

The overblown coronavirus panic is canceling events around the country. From the NBA and NCAA March Madness to closing down Disneyland, people are being asked to stop gathering in large groups to prevent further spread of the flu-like disease. There have been calls to stop political rallies as well. When asked about Democrats halting their rallies, President Trump said something that has been infuriating the left. Unfortunately for them, he’s correct. “I think the Democrats won’t be having rallies but nobody showed up at their rallies anyway, so what difference does it make?” The self-fulfilling coronavirus panic has paralyzed much of...

Judge Thomas Griffith on Thursday announced plans to retire from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, handing President Trump his third vacancy on the influential bench. Griffith is set to retire in September, just two months ahead of the 2020 election, as politics intensify the focus on Trump's conservative makeover of the federal courts. The judge, a George W. Bush appointee and 15-year veteran of the D.C. Circuit, made headlines last week when he ruled against House Democratic lawmakers who sought to enforce a subpoena against a former Trump aide. In a 2-1 opinion, Griffith ruled that...

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu succeeded in winning 60 seats for his bloc of right-wing and religious parties in Monday’s election, one less than he needed for a majority in the Knesset, according to exit polls on the three television networks. The first polls indicated that Netanyahu’s Likud won 36-37 seats. Its allies in Shas, UTJ and Yamina won 9, 7-8 and 6-7 respectively. The polls showed Blue and White with 33 seats, its ally Labor-Gesher-Meretz 6-7, the Joint List 14-15 and Yisrael Beytenu 6-8. When Channel 13 updated its numbers at around 1 a.m. Israel time, Gantz gained one seat...

A failed impeachment attempt, a stable economy and a fractured field of Democratic candidates appear to have given President Trump a boost in Pennsylvania as the presidential election race heats up. A new Morning Call/Muhlenberg College poll shows Trump doing better against potential Democratic rivals than he did in a similar poll three months earlier, especially in potential matchups with former Vice President Joe Biden and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren. Only Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders maintained a slight lead over the president in hypothetical matchups. But even there, Trump gained ground. Biden and Warren were tied with Trump, while South...

ll eyes were on Bernie Sanders last night on the debate stage, and a common criticism he faced was over his electability. Mini Mike said “Bernie will lose to Donald Trump, and Donald Trump and the House and the Senate and some of the statehouses will all go red,” describing the situation as catastrophic. Pete Buttigieg blasted the cost of Sanders’ “free everything” policies, saying that the true cost adds up to “four more years of Donald Trump.” I agree – but you have to laugh at the lack of self-awareness among the other candidates if they actually believe they’re...

LOS ANGELES — José cared for the bottle-fed babies, 700 of them in all. He knew a calf was healthy if her eyes were bright and her appetite hearty. Droopy ears were a bad sign. He was attuned to calf coughs. “His job was to do all things a mom would do to look after her young,” said Mary Kraft, who employed José and his brother, Juan, both undocumented immigrants from Mexico, for a decade at her Quail Ridge Dairy in Colorado. Then about a year ago, the brothers informed Ms. Kraft that they were returning to Mexico. They had...

The mainstream media will never admit it, but Donald Trump is responsible for the most remarkable economic boom that Black America has ever seen.  For the past three years, this president has worked to ensure that America’s strong and growing economy works for all Americans, not just corporations and wealthy investors — and his efforts are already paying major dividends in our community.  I’ve said this before and I will say it again — the best social program in the world is a good-paying job, not a welfare handout. Thanks to President Trump’s policies — including massive tax cuts...
