After a controversial six-year-long translation project, a Jordanian think tank based in Amman published an Arabic translation of the Babylonian Talmud. After gaining enthusiastic responses to the project from the Arab League, 96 scholars began work on the translation. The editors are happy with the project, stating that the lack of an Arabic Talmud "has always been an obstacle to understanding Judaism." Despite some polarized and politicized responses, most have adopted a positive impression of the massive scholarly work. Dr. Raquel Ukeles of the Israeli National Library states that the project stemmed from scientific curiosity, and the introduction discusses the Talmud in light of religious law along with the development of ancient politics and morality. Three years ago, Professor Mustafa Mansour of Cairo University translated the Mishnah into Arabic, reflecting an increasing interest in Jewish texts.

Yes they were interested. I bet that all references to the Jews being in Jerusalem have been removed from the translation. Yes they found a way to remove the jews from the Holyland.

In this translation, which son get’s Abraham’s blessing? Ishmael or Isaac.
I doubt if it will become a best seller, unlike the Arabic Translation of “Mein Kampf”.
Just FYI:
The Babylonian Talmud is 20 to 40 or more substantial printed volumes, filled with abbreviations, acronyms and obscure references. Most of the time, the text itself offers no clue as to what is accepted or authoritative and what is just a record of a disagreement. Any translation must necessarily be an interpretation, more so than almost any other text.
Next thing you know they’ll produce a translation of the Yerushalami Talmud.

WHY am I NOT surprised?
Because of the inherent Jooo!-hatred of Islam, and the fact that the “scholars” were hired by a Jordanian Islamic think tank, so they had better match their knowledge of Aramaic with what the tankers want to hear, those Christian dhimmes. If they were interested in an honest translation, there are plenty of distinguished Eastern Jewish scholars who spoke only Arabic in the home while growing up. They could have commissioned them to translate, and then double-checked it with the Aramaic-speaking Christians to make sure of no Taqiya, but that would require relying on dhimmes not under their control.
Muslims would NEVER use Jewish Scholars to translate a Jewish Book! What would Jewish Scholars KNOW about the Talmud??????

To this day, Muslims rely on the translation of the Gaon (luminary) Saadiya of the Five Books of Moses into Arabic. But of course, according to contemporary Islamists, Moses was a Muslim, so so was Saadiya, I suppose.
Funny how when one translates “Isaac” into Arabic, it becomes “Ishmael”.

I think you have Talmud confused with Torah.
Talmud is a collection of letters, opining on Torah.
Also weird how Miriam, after watching her baby brother in a small boat, singing at the Red Sea, catching and recovering from leprosy and dying in the wilderness, then went on to give birth to Jesus, as Mad Mo tells it. An awful long time to remain a virgin;-)
But Saadiya’s translation fails to translate it properly into Arabic. He keeps it Isaac, so I guess he wasn’t a Muslim after all. Ergo, they are relying on a Jooo! to translate a Jooo! book. Sacrelige. Time to find some more “scholars” and order them to translate it right.
