Named Miyake events after the lead author of the first study to describe them, the spikes occur roughly once every 1,000 years or so and are recorded as sudden increases in the radiocarbon levels of ancient tree rings.
The leading theory among scientists is that Miyake events are solar flares that are 80 times more powerful than the strongest flare ever recorded. But a new study...suggests that the origin of the radiation bursts could be even more mysterious than first thought.
Scientists have spotted six Miyake events in tree rings so far, indicated by sudden, single-year leaps in the concentrations of carbon-14 and other isotopes; these occurred in the years 7176 B.C., 5410 B.C., 5259 B.C., 660 B.C., A.D. 774 and A.D. 993...
To investigate if the sudden carbon-14 spikes were caused by incredibly powerful solar flares, the researchers created a simplified model of the global carbon cycle; inputting the tree ring data to demonstrate how carbon was produced by solar radiation and absorbed into Earth's atmosphere, oceans, land and organisms. By comparing their timeline of atmospheric carbon with the known 11-year solar cycle, the researchers expected to find that the years of the Miyake events corresponded to moments of peak solar activity.
But instead they discovered that the Miyake events did not line up with peak solar activity, and some of the events, unlike the brief flashes we recognize as solar flares, lasted for one or two years.
The... 1859 Carrington Event, which...sent powerful streams of solar particles that fried telegraph systems all over the world...released roughly the same energy as 10 billion 1-megaton atomic bombs. If an equally powerful flare were to hit Earth now, it would cause an 'internet apocalypse'... But the Carrington Event was 80 times less powerful than the A.D. 774 Miyake event.

The only thing that can shield the planet from electro magnetic storms is copious quantities of CO2
I expect our next radiation storm will be some grand experiment that Bill Gates has invested in, but I’m not worried right now since he hasn’t warned us that one is coming.
That sun is a real troublemaker, stirring up dangerous radiation storms. We need some laws to put a stop to this!

This is truly a First World problem. I checked up what happened in the year of previous events and there was zero impact. The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle mentions some event in the sky that could have been a boreal or supernova.
The main risk now is all the electronics will fry and havoc to the electrical grid.
we have 10,000 year old trees...for ring readings...sure we do....
Is boreal supposed to be bolide?
aurora borealis
Since it happens once every 1000 years or so and it happened in 1859 I guess we have at least 800 years to figure out how to protect the electronic infrastructure.
Then again it could happen again tomorrow. It seems to happen at different strengths too so maybe nothing we do can prevent total failure of anything turned on or that has power running to it at the time.
Maybe this would be God’s middle finger to the WEF and the Globalists by resetting us back to the dark ages for a time.
Gotcha.
I am of the opinion that the national power grid needs AC-DC-AC bridge / grounding at the point where power lines cross state lines.
We forget how short we’ve been here, how small and insignificant we are.
Meanwhile, we’re told we’ll cause the wold to end if we use a plastic shopping bag, or is it paper? It’s hard to tell, they keep changing their mind.
Even 30 years ago we knew the danger.
Art Bell lobbied congress to harden the grid.
I assume the reason it has not been done is because a reset might be cheaper
That is assuming it’s cyclical.
It could be random (as for as we are concerned) and that means every year is the same odds as every other year.
Hopefully they will develop a vaccine that will protect us from this.
If it happens, the cities will die first then the locusts will start to spread out to the rural areas. At least 90% of us will die. I guess that’s one way to start over.
It’s always about the money.
That’s why we get blackouts and brown outs when it’s really cold or really hot.
But no worries, someone is making huge profits and the government is covering for them. Here is Texas the organization is no kidding called the Electric RELIABIlTY Counsel of Texas (ERCOT). Faceless and unaccountable beurocrats that decide how to ration power essentially.
