I would be interested if any of the answers filed in these cases by Obama’s attorneys ever once stated either that (i) the birth certificate had been released or (ii) that Obama was indeed born in Hawaii.
No, it would not be absolutely necessary to state either fact, if the defense is lack of standing.
But attorneys are very careful not to make false statements in pleadings, and their clients should be as well. There’s a big difference between, say, posting on a web site that the document has already been released and submitting it as fact to the court.
And of course it begs the question of why tens of thousands of dollars - probably much more - are being spent to prevent release of the document (if it exists), rather then just releasing it and immediately rendering every case moot.
And mootness would be a slam-dunk compared to challenges based on standing.

20th Amendment Section 3 specifically states ".....shall have failed to qualify....."
How is anyone going to determine if a candidate fails to qualify unless the PROOF of those qualifications is GIVEN? That fact that proof is required is right there in the constitution its just being ignored. And you still failed to answer the original question which is not a gotcha question its a legitimate question you obama supporters can't seem to answer. So I'll ask it again: "Why should a kid playing soccer be REQUIRED to submit proof of U.S. citizenship while a PRESIDENT with his hand on the nuclear button DOESN'T HAVE TO?"
Frankly, I think anyone running for public office should have to provide basic proof of eligibility.

It goes back to:
§338-17 Late or altered certificate as evidence. The probative value of a “late” or “altered” certificate shall be determined by the judicial or administrative body or official before whom the certificate is offered as evidence. [L 1949, c 327, §21; RL 1955, §57-20; HRS §338-17; am L 1997, c 305, §4]
S338-17 allows for altered certificates and THAT ONE took effect in 1949 well within the timeframe for Obama's mama to do whatever evil she could think up.

As for your reading of the 20th amendment, perhaps you should consider the notion of failing to qualify as meaning not having garnered enough electoral votes. The eligibility information is clearly stated in Article 2 Section 1.
As for your name calling, I was raised correctly, I will not disrespect my elders by responding in kind.
Having said that, it's easy to be the resistance when one is completely secure in the One Who holds all things in His hands. In the end, He's the only One Who has promised to heal the nations.
