My son’s 6th-grade teacher’s brother had to shoot a terrorist with a knife dead at the new gate of Alon Shvut in Gush Etzion. An IDF soldier mistook him for a terrorist and shot him dead before he realized the mistake. There’s a pile of stones where he fell, commemorating him. Similar pile of stones further down the road where three young hitch hikers were murdered by a drive-by terrorist with an AK47. Perhaps they replaced that pile with a more permanent monument by now.

Actually that is absolutely correct based on court case after court case. And that is what they teach for concealed carry permits. It is a well known practice for better legal protections after the fact.

Here in Israel, people come in all shades. So if it’s a coal-black Ethiopian Jew firing at a white supremacist Arab terrorist with a Norwegian complexion, I guess he’ll be in the clear.
Have him face off with a drugged up criminal with a gun with one bullet in it.
