I have a nominee for the Supreme Court vacancy; it’s a guy who lives down the street from me. His name is Mummbo Matumabumbo. Apparently, he’s a Latino Black midget (I mean little person) whose mother is Irish. Now, I know he’s not a woman but he is a transvestite.

He appears to have great empathy for all creatures great and small. His bumper stickers suggest he wants to save the planet from greedy white capitalists and that he cares about the concerns of the underprivileged. While he isn’t a practicing attorney, I think he works at the Home Depot around the corner, he does have a law degree from an on line university.

He’s a heck of a nice guy and seems to fit most of the criteria the President is looking for in the next justice. From what I’ve heard it seems far more important for the next justice to have Mummbo’s qualities than to actually understand the Constitution of the United States and be willing to enforce it.

I find it rather amusing that when John Ashcroft was being put forth as the Attorney General of the United States the only qualification they seemed to talk about was the fact that he was a Christian and didn’t personally believe in abortion. He had to tell people at least a thousand times that, while he didn’t personally believe in abortion, it was the law of the land and, as Attorney General, he would enforce the law of the land.

See my (wo)man Mummbo has already answered these questions through his bumper stickers; he’s Pro Choice and He Votes! So, I mean, he does past that Constitutional knowledge on Roe v. Wade that the left seems to hold so dear. Conformation should be a breeze. The only thing I fear is that the new job may change my friend. He seems very humble right now, but the increase in pay may go to his head. As it stands now he complains about paying taxes, I fear if we send him to Washington as a liberal, he may stop doing that (the paying not the complaining). I told him I was writing this article to put his name forth as an official nominee. I told him I thought he was eminently qualified. I hope the powers that be give this serious consideration.

Mummbo went out over this weekend taking advantage of great sales he bought himself a smashing new ball gown and bonnet. That may not seem like much to you but if you were a four foot two, two hundred pound man you would understand how hard it was to find that gown.

I think we should all support Mummbo. Call your local Congressional and Senatorial representatives and let them know, the future Supreme Court Justice is working in a Home Depot in Queens, New York City.

  • Who's the Racist?

    Who’s the Racist?

Wow, Janeane Garofalo really put me in my place. Man, so glad she’s here to point me in the right direction. I just have one question for her, why did I find myself not going along with all the liberal muckity mucks before Obama? I mean, she really set me straight that the only reason I think that mortgaging my country to the hilt with debt, closing Guantanamo Bay, apologizing to the world for the United States being so horrible low these past two hundred years is because I’m a racist.

It isn’t political or ideological differences, it’s simply racism. I feel better; I really do, now that I have that explained. What about all the white men and women other than Barack? What about the Clinton’s the Gore’s, heck even the Carter’s, my gosh I’ve been mistrusting liberals since George McGovern, what was my excuse for that?

I’m going to let you in on a little secret when it comes to racism. People like Janeane Garofalo are themselves racists. You see, she doesn’t see a man with a different ideological point of view when she looks at Barack Obama. No, she sees a black man. Her elitist white guilt has shown her that if she disagrees with him, she is disagreeing with a black man, not simply a man. I don’t see Barack Obama as being black or white. He has a point of view that I find detrimental to my country. I felt the same way about John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Al Gore, Michael Dukakis, Jimmy Carter, George McGovern, you get the picture.

I want to ask Ms. Garofalo if she will find all the things Michael Steele has to say intriguing and not worth debate? If not, is it because he’s black? What about Condoleezza Rice? Was she always on the money? There I contend that not only is Ms. Garofalo a racist, but a sexist as well. Yes I find it interesting when liberals cry “racism.” This from a group of people who have a former grand dragon of the KKK at the top of their party. Whose forbearers such as senator’s Fulbright and Gore Sr. did their utmost to block the civil rights act of 1964. Who reveled in the term “separate but equal.”

Yes, liberal cries of racism have a long standing tradition of being one sided. I know, when a conservative doesn’t like something a person does and they happen to be of color, it’s because of racism. When a liberal doesn’t like something it’s because they know what’s best for “those people” anyway. So if it looks like racism it really isn’t. It’s just elitist white people looking out for the interests of people who are incapable of looking out for themselves. After all I’ve never heard a white liberal espouse the belief that white children should be given extra points on their SAT’s because of inferior education.

I hear no cry that children other than Hispanic (so called bilingual education) and Black children (Ebonic speak) should be given lessons in their own languages.

When my wife, Puerto Rican by heritage American by choice, was in the second grade in Bushwick Brooklyn her mother was told that she (my wife) would be taught in Spanish based on her surname. My mother in law was incensed. She felt, and rightfully so, that in the long run what these well meaning liberals were doing was going to hurt her daughter. If she didn’t speak English as a primary language how could she be expected to compete in the world when she was an adult? While my wife did learn to speak Spanish, it was never her primary language, her mother made sure of that.

This is America. People here, especially in the business community, speak English. It does no one any good to think otherwise. Well meaning liberals like Ms. Garofalo think differently. George Bush called it the “soft bigotry of low expectation.” It is truly what the liberals think of minorities, especially blacks and Hispanics.

Why not let them speak Spanish or ebonically, they’ll feel so much better about themselves. They shouldn’t be forced to learn in the oppressive white tongue. After all, what difference could it possibly make, right?

I think it makes a difference, a big one. I expect nothing less from any American regardless of skin color or ethnic background. I truly think we’re all equal until you get to that great inner city educational system that liberals have been running for how many years now? If you want to see what liberals like Ms. Garofalo really think of minorities just look at urban public school systems. The kids can’t read and write in English, but man they feel good about themselves.

I think the fact of the matter is that liberals just don’t expect that much from them. If you don’t think a minority can “handle” learning in English, how do you think they can ever have a future viable in anything other than flipping burgers?

In inner city public school systems liberals, who have been running them for the past seventy years, are more concerned with making the children who go to school there feel good about themselves than they are about truly educating them. I will go as far as to say that the elitist (white) liberal media is so pervasive in its racist beliefs that you should expect less from a minority that they are doing this to Barack Obama. You will not see them attack him when he makes mistakes not simply because he’s a liberal like them, but also because he’s black and they don’t want him to feel bad about himself. To a person they will say, if only to themselves, at least he’s trying, or he’s doing his best.

They won’t even treat him as harshly as they did Bill Clinton. Heck, he was from the south, which many elitist white media types from the north see as being almost a limiting as being black. They just won’t hold Obama to the same standard they would were he white. That’s a shame, and it’s also the definition of racism.

I contend that, as a conservative, I feel no differently about Obama than I did about Clinton, Kerry, Gore, Carter or the myriad of other white liberals who were bent on the destruction of America as we know it. I am no more disappointed in Obama going to Mexico and blaming America for their troubles than I was with Carter playing nice nice with the PLO.

Ms. Garofalo, Mr. Obberman put your racism aside. I plead with you to see black people in the same light you see white people and hold him to the same standard you would anyone else. It’s ok guys, he’s a grown MAN, he can take it.

I’ve decided that the gay community is right. You should be allowed to marry whomever or whatever you want. To hell with tradition and all that other crap, live and let live that’s my new motto. As for me, I want to marry my couch. I think about it and honestly believe that this is a match made in heaven (for those of you open minded to smart for God people the match could be made at an Obama sighting what could be better than that!) My couch and I have been together for over 15 years. It’s broken in just the way I like it. It has forgiven me for sitting on other couches and doesn’t show the least bit of jealousy. In short, my couch understands me and doesn’t judge my little dalliances with other furniture items because after all I always come home to it and I never use the word love with any piece but mine. My couch has sagged a bit over the years, then again so have I. If my couch hasn’t judged me, I shouldn’t judge it. When it comes to marrying my couch I say, why not? What is marriage anyway? Isn’t a marriage just some inane ceremony between two entities who love each other with unconditional abandon? Sounds like us. We never fight and we sleep together whenever I feel the need (if you know what I mean). Again, what is marriage about? When I die (with this great Obama economy my couch has no choice but to out last me) my couch should be entitled to all my worldly possessions. Why should the couch be made to suffer? I have finally seen the light and I’m so happy. I used to think that marriage was something more than a mere formality that did nothing more than legally bind two (or more) entities so that you don’t have to fight over their crap when they die. I used to think marriage was a sacred ceremony committing a man and a woman with one another for the rest of their lives. A means of bringing those two people together in order to procreate and further the species. What a sap. Now, here’s my dilemma. You see, the liberals have me confused. I’ve gotten over that whole God thing. I mean they told me there was no God, science has proved it. So, I have to worship science. Now, if marriage isn’t a sacred religious event, it must be a scientific one, right? Homosexuals have been offered civil unions which would entitle each the same legal rights as any heterosexual couple. It would give each person the ability to make do not resuscitate orders, powers of attorney, property and monetary rights, even parental rights. Not good enough says the “gay” community. They don’t seem so gay to me. They always seem upset over one thing or another, but I digress. No, they MUST have marriage. And we all MUST accept and recognize it. If you don’t, they will show you their wrath. Look at some of the incidents in California when the people in a democratic fashion voted to disallow gay marriage. I suppose that’s why the politicians in New York have decided to do away with all that democracy stuff and just push it down the throats of the citizenry (please no cheap gay jokes here). The state of New York thinks it knows better than its people what they need. I think Governor Patterson needs to google the word fascism. Hitler thought he knew best too! So, what about science? How about that procreation and survival of the species thing. I mean all the creatures of the earth do it. There are some species that live only to procreate then they die. I am told that homosexual marriage is not only ok it’s normal and needs to be accepted. According to most gay people heterosexuals are nothing more than repressed homosexuals anyway. So what about the science? Will evolution make human beings asexual in the future? I don’t know. I know this it probably won’t happen in the next hundred years. I guess this marriage thing has more to do with just legal stuff after all. Perhaps it isn’t just science that keeps us going. If marriage were simply about love, I don’t think you would need it. I mean not much is accomplished by it. You pay higher taxes. If one of you has bad credit and the other good once you’re married you now both have bad credit (learned that one from personal experience). So what is it? What drives us to be married? I can only speak for myself. My wife and I had actually been living together for nearly ten years when we decided we wanted children. I was my wife who stepped up and said fine, but we’ll be married before God when we conceive our children. It wasn’t some legal maneuver that she was interested in. My life insurance and all my worldly goods were already signed over to her through a legal will. It was about our children. It was about having one family name, and blessing our union before God for our future children’s sake. The gay community seems to want to make a mockery out of anything traditional. It seems to me that they do this to try and normalize that which just isn’t normal. I have nothing against gay people, I truly don’t. I think love is elusive, if you find it and that’s where you’re comfortable so be it. But please, don’t try and tell me it’s normal. Simply not true. I would like to ask gay people why you feel it necessary to desecrate that which I hold sacred? I’m not telling you that you can’t be with whomever you want, I just don’t want you to call it marriage. Problem with the gay community, like so many special interest groups on the left, they lack any ability to compromise. It’s their way or hell to pay. They’ll infiltrate a Sunday church service and throw condoms around and yell at people for praying to God. I believe I used the word before, fascism. Fascists don’t compromise, they bully. You either think the way they do or they want to kick your ass. I’m not afraid of you though. I’m not a bad person for disagreeing with you. I happen to think you’re wrong on this issue and it’s about time conservatives stood up and said so.
