My support is not based on polls but conservatism. Everyone is in such a rush to join the bandwagon of a candidate who has a shot to win we are ignoring our core principles. The primary season is not about rushing to find a candidate but instead the time to actually examine the candidates and find the one who best represents our values. IMO, Hunter is that candidate and no poll will dissuade me from supporting him.
Ok...name a major candidate who does not have major ties to the East Coast Media?
Rudy and Hillary, obvious. Romney, big wig wfrom Boston. Thompson was a big time actor on NBC.
One could say Obama, but there are other reasons why the media pays attention to him, plus he comes from Chicago which has is a major media market, with ties to the East Coast media.
Hunter is from San Diego and Tom is from Colorado and have no ties to the East Coast media machine.
I am a big fan of both. I think Hunter would make a better President with Tancredo being a good Vice President.
Unfortunately, I think neither is articulate enough to win the race for President.
Tancredo has been stumbling and bumbling his way through the debates. Its not that he doesnt have a strong points, it is just that cant put together a precise sentence.
It is frustrating to see Hunter made to be a second tier candidate, with a recorded like his he should be treated like a front runner.
The biggest reason Hunter and Tancredo are lagging in the polls is that they are not from the East Coast, which is why the media largely ignores them.
What does my state have anything to do with this? Let say you are right, I am ill-mannered, would it matter if I was from Texas, Iowa or somewhere else? If you want to attack me go a head, but leave New Jersey out it.
