The Bible reveals “God is the King of all the earth…He reigns over the nations; He sits on His holy throne” (Psa 47:7-8). It is God “who changes the times and the seasons; He removes kings and establishes kings” (Dan 2:21), and “the Most High is ruler over the realm of mankind, and bestows it on whom He wishes and sets over it the lowliest of men” (Dan 4:17). The Bible reveals “The LORD is King forever and ever” (Psa 10:16a), and the “LORD has established His throne in the heavens, and His sovereignty rules over all” (Psa 103:19), and...

One of my favorite Peanuts cartoons pictures a troubled Charlie Brown seeking Lucy’s five cent psychiatric help. After Lucy provides several cautions about worrying, she says, “If you have to worry, you should worry about this very moment.” In response, a puzzled Charlie Brown asks, “This moment? Why this moment?” It’s then that a soccer ball comes flying through the air, bonks him in the head, and sends him flying to the ground. Lucy then explains her diagnosis, “I saw this ball heading this way, see, and . . .” In his second letter, the Apostle Peter warns us about...

Time is running out for humanity. Our world becomes a little bit more like a really bad science fiction movie with each passing day, and our self-destructive tendencies are slowly but surely transforming our society into a living nightmare. Given enough time, we would destroy ourselves and everything around us. On a very basic level, most people can feel that global events are starting to spiral out of control. Evil is growing all around us, and just about everything that our leaders do to solve our rapidly growing problems seems to make them even worse. The pace of change just...

The US Navy invited an active-duty drag queen Joshua Kelley to be a ‘Digital Ambassador’ – as part of a recent drive “to attract the most talented and diverse workforce” and combat plunging recruitment. With the passing of each and every day, America becomes more and more like unto Sodom, and unto Gomorrah, we are living in the ‘Vanity Fair’ of The Pilgrims Progress. The scary part is that as this wickedness rises, we are normalizing it, so comparatively speaking things don’t really look all that bad. But things are bad, very, very bad. So bad it’s biblical. “Except the...

Mayor Ed Lee, the city’s first Asian American mayor and the man who presided over San Francisco’s rise to the top of the tech world, died early Tuesday morning after suffering a heart attack. He was 65. Lee collapsed while shopping at the Safeway grocery store on Monterey Boulevard near his Glen Park home at about 10:30 p.m. Monday and was taken by ambulance to San Francisco General Hospital. He died at 1:11 a.m., surrounded by his friends and family. The mayor’s office released a brief statement early Tuesday morning confirming Lee’s death, stating in part: “Our thoughts and prayers...

FBI Director James Comey stood before the nation and issued a list of Hillary Clinton’s astounding wrongdoings Tuesday as regards America’s national security — and then said he was not recommending prosecution because, in essence, what Mrs. Clinton did was “extremely careless” but not criminal. As he spoke, I recalled F. Scott Fitzgerald’s peerless description in “The Great Gatsby” of a feckless wealthy couple: “They were careless people, Tom and Daisy—they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into . . . their vast carelessness or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean...

As I was preparing for a study of the Jewish Feasts Days, I happened across Leviticus 18:22-30 and the words grabbed me and held me there. I had read the verses before, but it seems I was just looking at the word "abomination" and thought it was unusual for God to describe that particular sin in a more forceful way, than say, "stealing". As I re read the verses, It caught my eye that God was giving the Jews the land because the people before them had committed sodomy before them. Then God warns the Jews that if they did...

Jews prepared this week to celebrate their forefathers’ escape from forced submission to an ancient superpower that was once their friend and ally. As they did, reports from Washington warned of the imminent mounting of an extraordinary effort to coerce Israel into compliance with the dictate of the modern superpower the Jewish state has long regarded as its friend and ally. US officials say President Barack Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton are determined to fight any effort by the new Netanyahu government to back away from the process that demands the surrender of the historic heartland of the...

Advocates of "gay marriage" or homosexual civil unions argue that promiscuity will be reduced. Such an argument overlooks two key points. First, a embracing homosexual unions is more likely to undermine the institution of marriage and produce other negative effects than it is to make fidelity and longevity the norm for homosexual unions. Second, homosexual unions are not wrong primarily because of their disproportionately high rate of promiscuity and breakups. They are wrong because "gay marriage" is a contradiction in terms. As with consensual adult incest and polyamory, considerations of commitment and fidelity factor only after certain structural prerequisites are...

Summary: An Indiana three-year-old boy who died of a heart attack last November may have died as a result of being sodomized. An Indiana coroner has determined that rectal injuries to a three-year-old boy may have contributed to his death from a heart attack in November. A report in the Northwest Indiana News(March 13, 2004) quotes coroner Jeff Wells: "His heart was unstable to begin with and yes, this could have thrown it over the edge. There is a possibility that he could have had a heart attack while being sodomized." Read and distribute TVC's report on the high rate...

TAMPA -- Sue Clayton and Sheila Serrao met at church nine years ago. Three years later, Serrao's dad walked her down the aisle at the couple's commitment ceremony. The day was a "dream come true," Serrao said. But as a gay couple, the state does not allow the two Sarasota women to legally marry. Florida law defines marriage as a union between one man and one woman. On Monday, the couple moved to change the law. Led by their attorney and surrounded by members of local and national gay rights groups, Clayton and Serrao filed a lawsuit in Hillsborough Circuit...

Senate Democrats on Tuesday appeared headed toward a tactical victory over the hot-button issue of gay marriage. What seemed likely Monday — an up-or-down Senate vote on a proposed constitutional amendment to define marriage as only "the union of a man and a woman" — appeared very doubtful a day later as Republican and Democratic leaders were unable to agree on a procedure for a vote. Republican Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist has scheduled a Wednesday vote on cloture, a procedural move that would limit debate on the topic and allow the Senate to proceed to voting on the proposed...

Quote from web site: "Mr. Michael Eisner, CEO, The Walt Disney Company 500 South Buena Vista Street Burbank, CA It is an outrage that Walt Disney World in Orlando is allowing the open dis[play of offensive and illegal homosexuality during "Gay Days at Walt Disney World." This is shameful! And no child should ever have to witness homosexual acts while attending Disney World. The acts videotaped in your park year-after-year have become more prevalent and still you do nothing to protect children in your charge. Mr. Eisner, you have a moral and legal responsibility to the parents and children who...

An argument in favor of homosexual marriage that you are likely to hear again and again on radio talk shows, on national television, and on the Internet, reflects a line of reasoning that you must be prepared to counter. It is embodied in these kinds of questions: Why all the fuss about gay marriage anyway? And why should it matter to you if a gay couple marries and moves into your neighborhood? Why shouldn’t our definition of family be broadened and modernized? After all, what harm could possibly be done by yielding to the demands of those who say traditional...

The sword is in the land but the people are too blind to see. When 3,000 people died on Sept 11, 2001 there was a debate among church people in this country as to whether or not this constituted God’s judgment upon America. Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson said that it was God’s judgment and blamed it on all those sinners out there. Later when they were criticized for the statement, Falwell recanted and Robertson claimed he had misunderstood what Reverend Jerry was saying. Many preachers and church leaders categorically rejected the idea that God had anything to do with...

A hundred Hindu fundamentalists have attacked and vandalized cinemas in several Indian towns, tearing down posters of the recently released film Girlfriend. The film deals with lesbianism and related themes. The fundamentalists see this as an affront to Indian culture. The most censorious critics, however, have been India’s gay and lesbian activists. They say the film is a 'homophobic, hetero-patriarchal' portrayal of lesbianism in India. They charge director Karan Razdan of creating a "conscious, articulated homophobia" for mass consumption. Girlfriend is a candyfloss drama about two close women friends who sleep in the same bed and share—explicitly, on screen—a...

SAN FRANCISCO (AFP) - San Francisco's torrent of same-sex marriages may be making political waves across the United States, but they are also proving to be a major business boon for the city's jewelers, florists and champagne sellers. AFP Photo Reuters Photo Slideshow: Same-Sex Marriage Issues Since the city began issuing marriage licenses to gay and lesbian couples last Thursday, wedding bands, bouquets and pricey bottles of bubbly have rapidly disappeared from the counters of shops around the city for wedding celebrations. With no advance notice that the city would undertake the controversial step to legalize their marriages, few of...

Legalization of same-sex marriage would be a seismic event across this culture. Nothing would ever be the same. Every young child asks his parents, "Can boys [or girls] get married to each other"? If the answer changes from "no" to "yes," homosexuality would have then achieved equal status with heterosexual conduct and marriage. This equivalence would be taught in schools, observed in the workplace and eventually imposed even on churches. If the answer becomes "yes" there will doubtless be a dramatic increase in the incidence of homosexuality. Sexual arousal is a mystical thing, subject to conditioning. How else can one...
