    Howdy Y’all,

I agree with this because as a 100% disabled person, who walks with a cane in public,I’m a natural target for muggers..a person in a wheelchair would be an even bigger target..and the muggers know that many disabled folks git paid on the first or the third.

    Here’s the petition addy : http://www.petitiononline.com/texasoc/petition.html

It will only take a few minutes of yer time.

    Have a good one !

    Howdy cgk,

I'm just wondering, what was the judge's final ruling ? Last thing I heard, was that it was up to the judge to decide whether or not he would apply the death penalty or life in prison..I ain't heard nothing about that..I reckon that I missed it somehow. Given the nature of some judges in Florida, what should be certain justice-often is not.

    Howdy y'all,

I've got a brother in Jax and after reading in another post, that Al-Queda is claiming to have a nuke and that the Super Bowl is going to be hosted there, and given the proximity of the Mayport Naval Base-I'm a bit worried..am I just being paranoid ?

Surely, our guys will be on the look-out for any signs of radioactive emmissions..won't they ?

    Howdy Jennifer,

Wow,it's a small world,my daughter's name is Jennifer-and she's in Port St' Lucie..she says that they're planning on leaving by thursday-heading north -they don't even know where yet..after reading some of these posts,I'm starting to worry they may wind up on the I-95 "parking lot"..maybe I should give em a holler and tell them that ain't such a good idea.

    Thanks Joe,

Somehow,I hope that you are right, your words are reassuring for a dad that ain't too calm about now...I lived in Jax for a couple of years, and just one threat of a voluntary evacuation there, was enough to convince me to move back to God's Country, where I really belong..being an eighth generation Texan and all..

    Howdy Patton,

My daughter lives in Port St. Lucie,I'm just wondering if you could tell me where St. Lucie is in regards to the hurricane's projected path-I'd be much obliged.

I don't think she's taking this situation seriously enough, she's not an experienced Florida native and I'm starting to get concerned for her-thanx in advance for any advice or info you may give.

I now realize, that my daughter's free speech rights were violated, when she was told to shut up about Bill Clinton, back when she was in highschool, during his last term and was facing impeachment.

I'm so proud of you Bryan and how you conducted yourself, that it brought tears to the eyes of this here Texas redneck..Keep up the GOOD FIGHT !

Maybe this situation has reached the point-that Terri needs to be extracted-and moved to a secure and hidden location..just how much security is there ? Are the hospital guards armed ? There are plenty of retired SEALS in Florida-that are capable of pulling off such a mission-and are able to reduce or eliminate collateral damage. There are plenty of non-lethal techniques-to nullify the guards...they are just following orders.

Disclaimer: I do NOT-in any way-advocate the use of violence in any form-in this situation.

It would be a pleasure sir-would you like regular,heavy-duty,or extra heavy-duty ? I find that the extra heavy-duty is the most durable and will yield the user many good months of use-depending on the severity of the panic attacks.

I think that one of the essential amendments that simply vanished without any debate-was the one that prohibited folks from taking office with foreign titles-that includes anyone with the title of "Esquire"-among others-like "Sir"-as in a knight designation. I believe that this amendment was the thirteenth-which was replaced with the slavery amendment. By "losing" this amendment-it allowed the Bank of England to thoroughly infilitrate American politics-and create a society forever in debt to the Bank of England.

I personally despise titles of nobility-because they confer a status of superiority-I believe all folks were created equal. If there are any lawyers reading this-and you have "Esquire" in your title-you won't git any buisiness from me-as I consider the title to be offensive and un-American-but then-I'm so pro-American-that I consider it to be un-American to buy non-American vehicles..lol.

I need your opinion and advice-I've been battling the peaceniks on a liberal site-and I got a reply from a poster there-

"If it is necessary to protect the law abiding citizen, then a society can never be perfect. It is only when everyone living in that society decides to follow God that the society can become perfect. If the rule of law is necessary, that means there are those who wish to break it, and where there are those who wish to break it, the society will never be free of "evil preying on the weak." However, evil can only pray on you while you are a slave to it. If you follow Christ, then your guideline is the spiritual, not the fleshly. This means that you do not judge and live your life by the desires and fate of your flesh, but by those of your spirit. Christ also says, "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." (Matthew 10:28). The thoughts of a Christian, when making decisions on living his or her life should be based on the spiritual, the Word of God, not on fleshly concerns, such as hunger, or thirst "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?" (Matthew 6:25). Christ is to be the most important thing in a Christian's life. "He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me. He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it." (Matthew 10:37-39).
Even death is no concern when compared to following Christ's commandments. And the clear commandment is pacifism. "Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves." (Matthew 10:16).

The world Jesus wants is described as coming after the judgement. But in order to be part of this world, you must show that you will be a perfect citizen of it by being that perfect citizen under the most difficult of circumstances, where it is a struggle to be that perfect citizen, and there are many who are not perfect citizens. This is precisely what makes it so difficult."

In other words-this feller is saying that all Christians should be pacifists-and to do nothing about confronting Evil-that as Christians..we should allow ourselves to be destroyed and overwhelmed by Evil..surely this can't be right?

Thanx for your help..Have a good one....

If you lied about being an aetheist-then you've broken your oath..and should not be a member of the Boy Scouts.

Also-there's a vast difference between being sexually assaulted vs physically assaulted..yet you seem to believe they are the same..I can easily see that your lack of belief in God-could allow you to adopt such twisted thinking..further proof that you need to disassosicate yourself from the Scouts..I wouldn't want anyone like you around my son.

Why does anyone carry around a boxcutter?

Even if they work in a warehouse or some buisiness where one's needed-they generally don't carry them around-they are a poor choice for an edged self-defense weapon-and they can be easily purchased anywhere if one's needed to open a box.

So...I'm trying to figure out..does your reply mean that you tend to look down your nose at blue collar workers-or am I just mis-interpreting your feelings?

I'm a former blue collar worker-now disabled-I was always hard-working..maybe too hard working..in fact..I'm sure that's why I became disabled..is it wrong to work too hard?

    I have a GED and over 2 years of college-and I'm a veteran..when I went to college..I was also working 2 jobs..a real grind..yet I wasn't able to "break" into the white collar world..am I a failure in your opinion?

I have 2 fused discs and degenerative arthritis setting into my spine..is that my fault..or the fault of profit hungry companies that often ignore OSHA regs regarding max weight limits on blue collar workers backs and skeletal frames?

You see... I have a tendency to not trust those who've never worked hard physically a day in their lives..because few of them ever appreciate the blessings and breaks they've had..that many of us blue collar workers never get..anyhow..I'm just curious..don't mean to offend..have a good one....
