This week The Audacity of Hope, the US boat to Gaza, will sail to Greece to rendezvous with other international ships. From there the flotilla, named "Freedom Flotilla II - Stay Human," will attempt to sail to Gaza to challenge Israel's unlawful blockade which has effectively imprisoned 1.6 million civilians, almost half of whom are under the age of 16. Aboard the ships will be hundreds of peaceful activists and observers, and some ships will carry humanitarian aid. Here in Austin, CodePink invites you to join us for a symbolic launch on the Pfluger pedestrian bridge. We don't have our own boat, but we will gather to educate Austinites about the crisis in Gaza, and hold a brief ceremony in solidarity with the flotilla. Please join us at the Pfluger pedestrian bridge. We will "launch" at 10:30 am.

It would be horrible if there was a sudden release of nitrogen gas just under the boat while at the docks... it’d suddenly find itself at the bottom of the harbor and wouldn’t be able to make the trip

I compare this to the stupidity of Adam Kokesh and Media Benjamin (Code Pink) deliberately getting themselves arrested at the Jefferson Memorial trying to show the US as a police state. Sheer stupidity.
Why don’t they just pull into Port Arish in Egypt offload their stuff and take it right into the gates of Gaza since Egypt who has opened the wall. If their intention is to peacefully bring humanitarian aid (not even needed) why provoke? But NOOOO!
They will go right into Israel’s blockade of Gaza ports, they will be surrounded by Israeli ships, stopped and boarded by the IDF, then they’ll raise hell trying to provoke Israel into harming them to create an international incident. They will screech and scream at the US thinking they are owed something because they are US citizens...when they got into this trouble deliberately all on their own.
It would be a good snicker if they rot in an Israeli prison for trying to provoke and international incident to harm Israel for about 9 months to a year before they’re let out. Like they should’ve done in DC over the Jefferson Memorial incident and let them ‘silent dance’ in a jail cell to their heart’s content.
