Can we convert this into a general military history ping list? Just a thought....

I think there already is a general military ping list...in fact I'm pretty sure. Perhaps someone who is on that one can let us know about that one. My military and history knowledge is limited to Amercian History between 1732 and 1799...the birth and death years of General Washington, which is what I would like to cover here.

Sounds very interesting. I'm becoming intrigued with The General, having read His Excellency. Please count me amongst your pingees.

Add me to your list.

I would really be interested if anyone has any of the "The Papers of George Washington" available from the University of Virginia Press at http://gwpapers.virginia.edu/index.html

I have a grandfather, his business and home listed in the index of these papers.

Thanks
