Are Hannity, Rush, and the big talkers playing us for $$$? (vanity)

Posted on 05/01/2012 8:41:51 PM PDT by teg_76

Do you ever get the feeling that Rush and Hannity don't really care who wins, just as long as their dollars keep rolling in from us tea party saps. Besides Mark Levin, what prominent talker has gone out on a limb and endorsed true conservative candidates? Everyday we have to here Hannity interview the John McCains of the world. If he truly believed in the conservative movement, wouldn't he be out there trumpeting Richard Mourdock and Don Stenberg like Levin is?

As for Rush, he is more interested in commercializing the tea party movement with his "Two if by tea" than promoting it.

Besides Mark Levin, they're all sellouts just like the Republican leadership...looking out for their own career over the well being of the country.

Eric Cantor with his support of Richard Lugar and Adam Kinzinger in their primaries is consolidating moderate, establishment support behind his ambition to be speaker some day. But Hannity is more interested in a softball interview with him than evicerating him for his actions.

There are very few leaders in our movement.

President Obama is either 1. destroying the USA on purpose, or AND 2. intellectually unqualified to be President of the USA.

Czar B.O. is a Negro spokesman for the Democrap Party to use as a racist branding iron against anyone who opposes the Socialist initiatives thay have launched in their COUP of our government.

Unfortunately, we are more than three years into this presidential term and the Republican insiders, including most of the fair and (un)balanced pimps of the election industry fail to mention that aspect of the Democrap actions!

Let me be clear, Rush and Sean work tirelessly to get the one defeated. They will not rest until he is out of office. By the way, he got bin laden

Mark Levin,
^^^^^^^^

Mark Levin, the so called constitutional expert, is a sell out as well. His response to Obama’s trashing of Article 2, Section1? DEAFENING SILENCE!

Levin is the slime found in dirty toilet.

It became unbearable.
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

I was once a regular listener of talk radio. I stopped in 2008. Why?

Answer: It became unbearable.

It’s not what they talk about. It is what they **refuse** to talk about.

I feel slightly played. because all of these guys in the top ten in radio ratings that lean to the right did nothing to help Michele Bachmann, who all of them liked and wanted. Then they latched no too Santorum again did nothing to help out. You never heard them tell listeners to vote for them and how they would be better off with them than Romney.

As long as we have the birther issue and the issue of impeaching Obama for his various actions not advocated by the likes of Hannity then one can not get a full picture of the monstrosity of what is going on in America today.

For these people to then have to carry Mitts’ water because there is no other alternative for them is also a sad commentary on America.

I’m with those who oppose Mitt and Obama like James David Manning and others. The question is if Mitt won, how long before they turn on him again like they did in 2009?

I like Rush, Levin and Beck though, but don’t always agree. Hannity not so much until he leaves fox. Because fox news has beef with some pet issues of conservatives and the memo is out now to follow the GOP talking points. It is why Beck left and Judge Napolitano lost his show and why Stossel lost his audience in the studio and his show is a bit dull now.

Only the F&F crew, Megyn Kelly and Cavuto are worth it for straight news reporting of the days news. Anything with opinion behind it on Fox News is not worth it. And Cavuto dishes opinion, but on the economy mostly and he is not pimping rinos. He lets all guests speak their minds.

If I had a show I would have the likes of Virgil Goode, Laurie Roth, Jim DeMint, Wayne Allen Root, Allen West, Alan Keyes, Joe Farah, Thomas Sowell, Orly Taitz and Richard Viguerie on among others. No rino promotoers. Although I’d have no problem if some were having no choice but to support Romney, just not if they are Gop-E. I would agree to disagree.

Otherwise the show would be just me and my opinions like Rush and Levin.

“Two if by tea”...come on.

Two If By Tea® is proud to salute the men and women of our armed forces and their families. Two If By Tea® is a proud sponsor of the Marine Corps - Law Enforcement Foundation and will donate a minimum of $100,000 to MC-LEF beginning in June 2011.

That's all I need to know about Two If By Tea...

I don't think there's anyone in broadcasting that is as generous as Rush.

Don't forget a few years ago when Rush auctioned of the letter signed by all the Senate democraps, for two million dollars then matched it with his own and gave it to the MC-LEF.......

And don't forget his annual fundraiser for leukemia which has generated tens of millions of dollars for that research........

Hannity is probably a yes. Rush used to be a lot worse than he is lately.

Rush WILL speak plainly, will call a spade a spade and a Clinton a Clinton. As far as I go, the media landscape out there would be bleak without him.

Perfection? No, not in this life.

Isn’t is a shame that there are no honest conservatives in the world today, except for a few posters at this site.

Rush refuses to endorse candidates for several very good reasons. If his listeners can’t figure out who he is leaning towards, maybe they should listen harder.

As Bill Buckley was the “founder” of the New Conservatism, Rush was the “founder” of the New Genre, (radio, tv, blogs, etc)of Conservatism (over 23 yrs and still a force)

I don’t understand why so few here get this.. Rush, Hannity, et al are ENTERTAINERS, they aren’t political leaders. They are there to make themselves $$$ pure and simple and they do it by entertaining... its a gig, nothing more.

No one who’s cashflow is dependent on their audience is going to ruffle the feathers of their audience too badly, they’d be stupid to.

They have staked out the conservative as their audience, so they don’t care if they upset liberals, because they aren’t targeting them anyway, but if they endorce someone they wind up ticking off the part of their audience that likes the other guy. So why the hell would they do it?

Seriously folks, looking for anyone in talk radio for political leadership is beyond foolish. They are their to entertain and cash checks.
