You can take any image from anywhere and run it through hundreds of different bits of software that creates all sorts of layers and chunks with all sorts of non printing bric a brac in the meta image.

Our TWO TERABYTE machine downstairs has some stuff used for three-dimensional art preparation that could make Obama's BC look like a placenta from a dugong if someone wanted that.

And that's before the "art" part!

BTW, I think the original "scan" of the documents in the book was done quite some time ago by a contractor setting up a new data base for Hawaii.

The originals were probably disposed of once the system was tested and put on line.

They used a pretty sophisticated scanning software because it converted a curved surface into a flat surface with very little distortion. You can see the scatter in the scan on the upper left where the page curve was most prominant.

This is it. This is the rights version of “troofers”. Even if it is fake — a good spin doctor will see that the opposition is the spectacle.

It tells me that some of the entries COULD have been changed after the WH received the paper document.

Still, it becomes documentary evidence that Sr was not a US citizen and that, therefore, the person living in the WH is not a natural born citizen, and is therefore ineligible to the presidency.

There is not enough time to build a consensus to impeach and convict him before the 2012 elections, but maybe we can generate enough public disgust to defeat him in 2012.

Save your breath. You could take them back in time and have them cut the cord, and they still wouldn’t believe it.

This is a graphic I did awhile back of the "original" phony COLB, where I changed it to a COLB for nancy pelosi, in an attempt to show how easily these things can be forged.

It's on the same type of safety paper, but before I put the name changes in, I went out to a blank spot on the form, copied the actual safety paper design, pasted it in place, aligned the pattern with the surrounding pattern, and then flattened the document; THEN, I matched the font as well as possible and typed in the info.

It's really easy stuff, but a real graphics expert could take it apart in 10 seconds...

Anyone still glomming onto this topic should invest in tinfoil hats.

Anyone thinking that the BC is fake because letters don’t align has never used an old, manual typewriter. They don’t know that capital letters are created by actually shift the entire typing plane UP. Depending on how fast you type, or how hard you press down on the shift, letters can easily become misaligned vertically. I have owned and used an old typewriter of this sort and can attest to this. So, your post just demonstrates that you don’t understand old typewriters, not that the birth certificate is fake.

Next, those that are attaching themselves to “layers” issue are also demonstrating ignorance... but on a different subject. It is clear to me at this point that the layers were simply created as part of the scanning process as part of a built-in OCR (optical character recognition) cycle. You can easily see that the layers have been created for all text that has been scanned as the same color (evidenced by the antialiasing and contrast). This is a completely reasonable explanation of why there are layers. It is not the result of manipulation, but simply the result of the scanning program doing it’s thing.

It’s time to drop this subject. You can reasonable attack Obama for acting like a jackass and whimsically withholding this document for so long, allowing the country to be needlessly torn apart on the issue. That’s fair. You can attack Obama for destroying this country in other ways. But at this point, you cannot win this argument. Most reasonable conservatives - like myself - have examined the issue thoroughly and are satisfied. Now you are just looking like a fringe kook.

So, the form went into and out of typewriters. Did you imagine someone just sat down at a typewriter and whizzed through this document? Hardly likely. This was a working form and was handled by several people ~ e.g. nurses, clerks, volunteers, doctors, etc.

I hardly think that was the case. The information is kept on a form (usually on one of those hospital clipboards where the nurses are jotting down the patient's medical records). Then after the birth, the nurse asks the parents to help her with information to fill in the blanks with baby's name, etc. No one carried a typewriter around from hospital room to room filling in blanks. The form, filled out by hand, was then given to a clerk (typist) to type up. The typed form was presented for signatures, then filed with the state.

UPDATE: I’ve confirmed that scanning an image, converting it to a PDF, optimizing that PDF, and then opening it up in Illustrator, does in fact create layers similar to what is seen in the birth certificate PDF. You can try it yourself at home.

I believe the document is fake because everything that has come from this administration has been faked and is a lie.

Writing that, you are correct. I have spent many years using the full Adobe Acrobat software and you have either the option to turn the document into a format that can be edited, or you can make the document "flat." The second choice renders any scan into a JPEG picture that is optimized and saved as a PDF file. The first allows a person to either edit using Acrobat or export to Word or other text editing software.

I think the place where people should investigate is the fonts. Turning the document into a form that can be edited uses the closest matching font internal to Acrobat. The "flat" type of document is a true picture of the copy that was scanned. If that copy was the original, or true copy of the original, the font would be that used back when the form was originally filled out since it is just a picture of the document.

The font and spacing issue was the the problem that ended up showing the infamous Bush documents to be fake and thus creating the downfall of Dan Rather.

Have you examined the issue of his Conn. SS# ?

I’d like an explanation of that.

That’s so 1930s; by the 1960s they had typewriters. The only thing produced in handwriting was the signatures and dates (attesting to the signature). By the late 1970s they were back to a note sheet with keyboard entry into a data base system or word processor. By the mid 1980s word processors had swept all before them.

So you are saying that they carried the typewriter from room to room, or had a typewriter in the birth room and one in the patient’s room, etc.... and each time they added more info, they stuck it in the oh-so-handy typewriters scattered about the hospital, and added bits of info?

Somehow, I just can’t see that as the way it worked.

No, rational people should not be satisfied. Remember, Obama's people put out HIGHLY QUESTIONABLE documents earlier and tried to pass them off as the real deal.

Remember, in a court of law, once they've demonstrated that you lied, everything else you say may be called into question on that basis alone.

What I suspect is that Hawaii's "short form option" was printed on a totally different system. My own office went through truly major printer changes every couple of years ~ and as aggressive as we were ~ far ahead of the crowd in fact ~ we were into two major data base systems having been replaced and we still had some operations still demanding tissue carbons!

GAD!

Of course that was back in the 1980s, 1990s, 2000s ~ and time had a different flow then.

I've noticed that recently ALL systems are getting back to a common standard for operating commands. That's good. I would have liked that. This proves that it was an excellent idea to put DEC out of business. They're the guys who came up with the proprietary plugs and terminology.

Back to the issue ~ because Obama and his crowd generated the dispute with a string of falsehoods and bizarre responses to simple inquiries, nothing they do in this regard can ever be trusted.

Different elements on that form occurred at different times ~ the name of the hospital, for example, happened once. The date happened different times. The baby was born once. He was named once.

Explain then why "Kapiolani" is very slightly misaligned with the "Maternity & Gynecological Hospital" typewritten text which follows it. "Kapiolani" also appears to be straight, but dips slightly at the left, as if a typist was attempting to make it appear to have been following the form's curve which resulted from copying from a book. (You may need to expand the PDF to 400% or 600% and use a straightedge aligned with the serifs on the bottom of the typewritten text to see this.) Either "Kapiolani" was typed on a different manual typewriter or the typist, after typing "Kapiolani", released the carriage tension and minutely moved the form down before typing the rest of the line.

"BARACK", similarly, is noticeably lower than "HUSSEIN" and "OBAMA" typewritten further along in the same box. Again, "BARACK" was either typed at a different time on the same or a different typewriter, or the typeist adjusted the form in the carriage after typeing "BARACK".

I'm no documents expert, but I typed tens of thousands of army forms with manual typewriters while in the service, and anyone who has had a similar mind-numbing experience can easily recognize a form which was being very carefully moved around in the carriage as it was being typed, very likely in order to appear to follow the slight curvature of the form resulting from the copying on the platen of a copier from a large book. Very carefully, but not carefully enough.

I can understand different boxes on the form being typed at different times, on different typewriters, and by different typists. Indeed, I often comnpleted or added to forms started in different offices. But why would "Kapiolani" be typed at a different time than "Maternity & Gynecologal Hospital", and "BARACK" typed at a different time than "HUSSEIN" and "OBAMA"?

I'm increasing convinced that we will have to defeat this useless moron on other issues in 2012, and should be able to do so, but I'm still a skeptic on this BC stuff. Hopefully, in the next few days or weeks we'll hear from some genuine documents experts. Others with the wherewithal (hello, Donald) might also be pursuing other lines of investigation. In a real serious investigation (which this should be), for example, I'd be attempting to see what type of records Kapiolani had of physicians on duty - be interesting, for example, to find that Sinclair was at a medical conference in Los Angeles on August 4 (and incidently, what happened to Dr. West, who according to Snopes was the attending physician?).

Lots of potential angles to pursue. Don't think this is dead. But we need to turn up the pressure on college records and other matters as well. I think this sucker is hiding some really really interesting stuff.

The "font" was part of the deal. Kerning killed it. Wasn't just that the forger used kerning, the whole body of forged documents displayed kerning.

That happens when you set your commands in Windows Word to "kerning on" ALL THE TIME.

Now, who does that? Well, how about a photocompositor operator. He's the kind of guy who will know that to get the document blocked up and optimize the use of margins, kerning is always best.

The Democrat operative who set up the deal with the AlGore crowd was a lawyer in family court in Nashville TN. Her husband got in touch with a professional photocompisition specialist working in a union shop somewhere in Portland OR.

The "husband" knew the individual who claimed he obtained the memos ~ and various other things ....

I don't think it's as professional in the Obama crowd. Too many folks there think computerization reached its apogee with the blackberry.

Of note, kerning was available on very large scale photocomposition systems before the 1970s ~ but it wasn't universally applicable, and with hot type the kerned block came in two flavors ~ two letters with no margins on a right or left face, smashed against each other, or simply a single letter block already filed in the system that would allow physical creation of the lede showing the letters smashed against/or even partly under/over each other.

In short, no military base doing Reserve training was likely to have had the equipment around to do hot lead print for ordinary memos going into a file. On the other hand, the memos showed all the hallmarks of Microsoft Word "kerning on". Microsoft Word didn't exist when George Bush was in the Air Force Reserve.

The family of a Honolulu doctor whose signature appears on President Barack Obama’s birth certificate woke up to the news Wednesday that the late obstetrician had delivered Obama.

Relatives of Dr. David Sinclair told The Associated Press that they were “blown away” and “honored.”

I may be the only person left who specifically remembers his birth. His parents are gone, his grandmother is gone, the obstetrician who delivered him is gone,” said Nelson, referring to Dr. Rodney T. West, who died in February at the age of 98.

What a mess.

The two typewriters are both electric ~ but with movements typical of the earlier line of mechanical typewriters by the same company. Either Royal or a very popular Swedish brand name of the time (BTW, I was, at one point in my very long career, the then current fastest typist in the world with a consistent 238 WPM for substantial periods of time ~ 10, 20, 30 minutes).

That was on a Royal electric with a wider platen and a couple of gears in the guts to allow the machine the cycle times needed to keep up with me ~ contest deck!

So, what do I remember? Well, you're typing along on some-body's crummy Royal used by 5 or 6 different people per day, for years and years, the paper starts slipping and next thing you know you've typed in a curve. With multipart forms ~ with several sheets ~ that would happen all the time.

Now, sit that same typewriter somewhere in a nurses station in a birthing facility and you'll have baby oil, coffee, talcum powder, and who knows what else floating in, pouring in, smearing in ~ and those pieces of paper of whatever kind will twist, and turn and slide around.

The straightest typing that includes all the information they'd have BEFORE BIRTH is typed on a different machine from the one recording information they'd have AFTER BIRTH. That material is straighter and could have been added in from a worksheet ~ although one of our analysts says there's a suggestion that someone with oil or serum on their hand did handle the form. For all we know this thing could have been sitting there beside the mother during the birth. There's another thing taking place we don't see here ~ the taking of the footprints and the baby crying and peeing all over the place. It's possible we could get a DNA sample from any bodily fluid residues and match that up with Obama!

Understanding the ordinary quality of individuals brought in with the Obama Regime there's no way they suspected "THE ONE" would be subjected to such in depth scrutiny. They can't even imagine it after they've been told.

I can see Gibbs in my minds eye trying to put down the idea of checking some of Obama's infant urine residue for DNA ~ and that it's possible it could still be around (possibly useful).

“People do this every day. What you see is NORMAL”.....

standard scanned images also print. this sure looks like a way to manipulate the colb. why does the green disappear in the scanned image when the letters are turned off? i’m not trying to be a smart *ss, I’d just like to understand better.

...aaaand signatures are pasted as needed?????

Exactly, I'm not sure why people are analyzing the image. HDOH went all in to help their fellow traveler.

It's really simple. Instead of Obama forging his own COLBS, The pot smoking hippy Gov and the HDOH entered the picture and FORGED ONE ON HIS BEHEST. Having access to all the doctors signatures working that day, it was an easy task. They simply made it up. Since there is no press or any controlling legal authority, I'm sure they're not worried a bit....having a good laugh over it. **in between tokes**

I certify that this is a true copy or ABSTRACT [In another words, what we wish we had on file.....LMAO]. A real "abstract" LFBC. What a crock of crap.

This has more credibility than what they just squeezed out. The half-typed part:.

The half-written part---The note from Grandma Toots about her wayward daughter having a son. Assuring the HDOH that she would be filling in the relevant details when she got back from "vacation". SADO never did.
