Rush Limbaugh on Sarah Palin: She’s Ready to Be President (Video)

Sunday, November 1, 2009

Jim Hoft

Rush Limbaugh predicted today that Barack Obama will be a one term president. Rush also told Chris Wallce that, “Yes, she’s ready to be president.”

From FOX News Sunday:

Chris Wallace: Sarah Palin. You say that you admire her backbone. Do you really think she’s ready to be president?

Rush Limbaugh: Well, yes I do. One thing I do not do is follow conventional wisdom. And the conventional wisdom is that Sarah Palin is not smart enough. She needs to bone up on the issues. She’s a little unsophisticated. Alaska, where’s that? She doesn’t have the pedigree.

She’s the only thing that provided a spark for the Republican Party. This is not an endorsement but I do have profound respect for Sarah Palin. There are not many politicians who’ve been through what she’s been put through and still able to smile and be embollient and upbeat. I mean this woman I think she’s pretty tough.

Well, I’d say that after having had the benefit of watching the Man-Boy [Excuse me, make that Man-Child, I wouldn’t want to be racially and politically incorrect] president operate for nigh onto a year now, I’d say that my youngest grandaughter is now ready to be President.

She’s Ready to Be President

I'm a bit dubious of that.

It’s all about leadership, not your school, not your degree and not your money.

She quit

She walked away from a battle, scored a family fortune and survived to shape the rest of the war.......to win this country back.

That is what she did.

I sincerely hope that she makes millions. Beyond that, I’m a bit cautious about declaring her either a king or a kingmaker.

She did not quit. She chose a different battlefield.

She quit. That will be hung around her neck in any attempt to get back in the political ball game. Her supporters might ignore it but BD dems and indies won’t.

I'd add to that. Yes, leadership isn't about degree, school or money. It is about ability - mostly the kind you are born with. It is about inspiration of a divine nature, however you might want to interpret that. It's about values, true fairness and selflessness.

I recently got a $2 bill in return for a purchase. I happened to look at the reverse side and something struck me very profoundly. It's a large scape of the founders, presumably at the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The men, yes all men, are dressed up in what most liberals would try to make 'closet Gay' jokes about. What struck me is that these men, God-inspired men, were at that moment signing a document that put their treasure, blood, lives and freedom at serious risk. They weren't standing in line to get their 'Obama Cell-Phone', their 'Obama Home Payment Loan', or ANY 'Obama-Money for anything'. They weren't thinking about themselves - they were thinking about you and me and praying that we wouldn't be subjected to the ills that they had seen.

In that regard, how and why we elected this inexperienced, malintentioned child to run our country is a complete mystery to me.

She was being run into the ground financially by frivious lawsuits designed to destroy her. I swear. What is it with people and this ‘she quit’ baloney? The woman was being bankrupted and there were no signs of it letting up.

Come on out and endorse this time, Rush, when Sarah announces. No dithering.

People quit every day.

Hillary quit.

Obama quit.

Gates quit.

So, Palin resigned her elective post. So the effin what? Don’t let it get your knickers in a twist. You’ll find yourself in the knicker-twisted minority.

Renee, don’t get too exercised by these Romney/RINO supporters and their anti-Palin drivel. This will all be sorted out over time.

She didn't walk away from a battle, she escaped an ambush. To have done otherwise would have been suicidal and stupid. Only the disgruntled leftwing assassins that she outsmarted console themselves by saying "she's a quitter."

Contempt for the winner is the last refuge of the loser.

Conservatives are taking back the party. We’re making a hard right turn back to our principles and values. No more reaching toward the middle and compromising with liberals and moderates.

Rush’s endorsement of her abilities is big for Sarah.

No, she quit.

How anyone can suggest otherwise is baffling.

She quit. There is NO OTHER REASONABLE EXPLANATION.

Whether that affects her political career is yet to be seen.

But, yes, SHE QUIT THE OFFICE OF GOVERNOR OF ALASKA.

Yep...

To paraphrase a famous line:

She’s not retreating; she’s attacking in a different direction.
