I was asked a question on the Glenn Beck show today regarding my thoughts on the so-called 9/11 truth movement. I have never been involved with the 9-11 truth movement, and there is no doubt in my mind that Muslim terrorists flew planes into those buildings on 9/11. I have not seen any evidence nor have I ever believed that our government was involved or directed those individuals in any way....

My point was, just because the left hijacks an issue doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. In the past and present, governments around the globe, have been known to carry out atrocities against their citizens. Why would the United States be immune to evil?
I believe it had everything to do with Clinton giving up Bin Laden.
What is odd with my posts? I am reading the news and posting things I find of interest. If you don’t like what I’m posting, be my guest not to read my stuff. Why can’t there be humane dialogue on this site? It seems like when people disagree on here, the suspicion mounts and the tarring and feathering begins.

I believe her now. I just think she wasn’t smart enough or quick enough to figure out the answer to a simple question on Beck’s show.
Not sure whether that will make her more, or less, qualified to those who support her, some of which appear to be 9/11 truthers themselves.
But it doesn’t seem to be a good thing either way.
Yesterday on another thread someone called her "Sarah Palin without the wink". Sorry, folks, she's not even in the same universe with Palin.
You have to understand that for some Tea Party folk, you have to be 100% hard core fundamentalist, pro-life, no-tax, kick-out all immigrants, all Muslims are bad, God-fearing, George Bush-loving, quad.50-owning, Sarah Palin-worshipping registered Republican. Anything just a little bit less than that and you’re just a left wing pinko RINO commie and you’re not invited. There’s no in-between. (The reverse goes for the left wing nut jobs who have hijacked the Democratic party).

Why? Van Jones and Rosie are left-wing nuts who hate George Bush and thus blame 9/11 on him. However, I don’t hate George Bush (I don’t particularly like him although I voted for him twice) but have seen some very credible evidence that our government was complicit in the 9/11 attacks.

The US is not immune to evil. But there is no credible evidence that the US purposefully had anything to do with 9/11.
If your argument is that the government could have done things to prevent it, that’s not “truther”, that’s just the truth, but is beside the point.
If you truly believe that the government, any part of the government, was part of a plot to help muslims hijack planes and kill thousands of Americans, and you further believe that Bush administration covered this up, you need to present evidence that doesn’t exist.
It certainly isn’t rational to believe — 9/11 is one of the most highly investigated events of my lifetime, so you’d need a gargantuan conspiracy to cover up government involvement.

No, I think it’s that the tea-party folks, who organized in support of limited government, tax cuts, and slashing government spending, don’t want their movement taken over by fanatics, idiots, and conspiracy theorists.
