Paul Hsieh wrote an excellent article about America's weakness in regards to the war against terrorists. However, he claimed that the mosque is distracting us from the real issue of Iran's nuclear weapons program. I respectfully disagree. The real issue is that we are fighting a war with Islam. The mosque, rather than distracting America, has brought her full attention to it.
The mosque has refocused us on the fact that we were brutally attacked on 9/11, and Americans are starting to talk about it again. Videos about 9/11 are circulating the internet and discourse is taking place about who was responsible. People are learning about Islam and decisions are being made about who is to blame.
This is has been a difficult road, because Americans are benevolent and naïve concerning Islam. They are used to freedom of religion and they find it hard to condemn one. And that is precisely the problem, Americans see Islam as only a religion. It is not just a religion, it is also a sophisticated, detailed political ideology with the expressed goal of taking over the entire world by any means at its disposal, even if it includes lying and killing. Americans need to think of it as a social/political ideology, but they are so used to separating religion from politics (which was a first at the time of our country's founding) that they keep giving Islam the benefit of the doubt.
Frank Langan, site superintendent from Queens working at ground zero, says he is on the fence on the matter. When construction workers started to protest working on the mosque, he made a statement that is typical of people who are undecided about this issue, "It's a tough debate. I sympathize with workers' position, but at the same time, you can't single out all Muslims because of a small number of terrorists." That would be like saying, you can't single out all Communists because of a small number of Communists. They are all Communists if they subscribe to the Communist ideology, and just like Communism has an ideology, so does Islam. Any Muslim who is truly innocent, must renounce Islam like other courageous Muslims such as Ayaan Hirsi Ali or Wafa Sultan. Not to do so, means that he still considers us as the enemy and supports the downfall of the United States.
Separation of church and state is something we take for granted. Islam does not separate the two. And Islam is the new Communism.
In order to win any war, one must know who the enemy is and have the courage to do what is necessary. As Paul Hsieh said in his article it is important to commit to victory and win the war. But that won't happen until our enemy is clearly defined in the American mind.

If we are to win this war we must eliminate the sentiment of corporate globalism ruling class in the US. Prior to 9/11 US corporations, academia and leftwing internationalism was in full swing trying to dissuade Americans from old fashion patriotism and nationalism. This was needed for corporate America to globalize the final piece of global trade and that was immigration. Americans already were participating in the movement of goods, materials and services, but we cannot access the importation of cheap labor to replace American labor. 9/11 struck and many corporate globalist schemes were unraveled. The Dubai port deal was killed by talk radio, the Super Highway was under scrutiny, demands to enforce the border against illegal immigration, and Americans were pumped up on patriotism/nationalism, sentiments that can block further free trade, global government and total free movement of people for labor.
The ruling class immediately reacted behind the scenes. Look what happened after 9/11, the media and government pulled the video images of the burning tower and people jumping from th burning inferno. GWB admin was concern about uncontrollable hatred for Muslims, actually the ruling class was concern about rising nationalism that will threaten their unpopular globalist projects. As long as globalists who are more concern about the riches of their global projects and implementation of their globalist open society, we are never safe from Islamic threat as long as there are Americans who will undermind our efforts for defense and prudence from within. Need proof, Mayor Bloomberg whose own private company Bloomberg is trying to open a large office in Dubai, supported the mosque. Imagine, Bloomberg a Jew would be the first person killed in an Islamic takeover chooses money over his own life. The dangerous part is guys like Bloomberg are not alone holding power and authority in this country.

Islam is a totalitarian, murdering cult - by their own admittance. You join and obey, or they kill you - there is no other way for them, by their own admittance.

SO - do the math. Sooner or later they’re going to get dissatisfied with the pace of things in converting America, and commit a really, really big atrocity here.

Finally, someone with an audience is saying what I’ve been saying since 9-11.
“..have the courage to do what’s necessary.” Exactly. But a lot of Americans are still blind to what we are facing. Just yesterday a poster right here at FR took great moral offense at my strong cry for a real war against islam. She wailed about collateral damage of innocents should we wage real war against our enemy.
Until we fight as hard as they do, we cannot win.
Most Americans are unwilling to fight with all we have.
Obviously, islam has taken advantage of our collective weakness. They laugh at us, as they build a trophy building where they killed thousands of Americans.
We need a strong leader as president in 2013. Someone able to make the tough calls and stick to his or her guns, without apology. A true patroit who will lead the fight against these evil fanatics. It will take someone of a lot higher character than we’ve seen for a very long time. Even GW Bush didn’t have it. He left our borders wide open for the benefit of those who want cheap labor, rather than protect us from terrorists coming over the open border. Not good enough George!
We need someone who gets the dire circumstances we are in with open borders. Someone who isn’t afraid to take out Iran’s nuclear sites, who is going to be brave enough to say they’ll do that when asked during an election debate? I wouldn’t vote for anyone less than a warrior for America. More of these wimps afraid to offend, and we’ll all be under sharia law in 50 years.
The koran demands of the islamic that they kill infidels. They are commanded to do so with glee and with no remorse. There is no compromising with that kind of sick group of people. They should only be destroyed before they destroy everyone else.
Thank you for posting this. Thank God someone has the guts to say it. We ARE at war with Islam. They are certainly at war with us. I am amazed and appalled that the same people who are unreasonably hostile to Christianity are so unreasonably supportive of Islam. If muslims want to live under sharia they should live in Islamic countries. If they want to live in America they should live like Americans.
I’m afraid fighting a foe hiding behind a religion is our political Achilles’ heel.
We’ve been at war for 1400 years, some people in the free world have forgotten. Muslims have not.

Communism, Fascism, and German National Socialism are all movements of late modernity, each in its own way trying to resolve some conflicts which are built into the post-1789 social order in the West. Each of them would be impossible without Kant or Hegel.
Islam is a premodern phenomenon, little changed since the eighth century. It has no modern features, no use for Kant, or Hegel, and it will not fracture and disappear the way those 19th-century romantic ideologies did.
So why do we love them so much??? Why barbaric people like them get so much respect? Because they frighten us I guess and that would be the proof that the people have totally lost their guts. That’s why we bow to them - they scare us so we keep on giving them a pass and no one real man left to fight the fight anymore. Christians don’t frighten anyone so we can be crushed..what a sad state of affair...
