I read in a post above that Karr's attorney is saying, no charges. Maybe the DA will hold a presser and confirm? Do you doubt the leak, or just doing a good job making sure I know what I should know? From all the other posts, it seems so certain. But there's that, "it ain't over 'til the (fill in blank) sings" thing.

Something is up? Why hasn't the DA confirmed the "dropping of charges". Have they plea bargained a trip to a mental hospital? Back to CA to face the charges there? What's up?

I hope he's prosecuted for a false confession He didn't confess to any crime or make any police report. He told the Thai media he was "with her" when JonBenet died, whatever that means in his damaged brain.

yes, they had an warrant, but no charges were ever filed. This is sad. I don't think JBR's murderer will ever be caught!

Why not let the him sit in the tank in CA until they got the DNA results back. They could have done that without any problems.

Are they holding him the CA authorities? Are there charges for flight there? Was he convicted in absentia in CA or is that another MSM fabrication?

I didn't say he confessed to the police. I know they said he did lots of talking, but I don't know what he actually said. Media reports made it sound like he said things to make them think he was claiming to have done it.
Sheesh.
I was there when JonBenet died, too. But I'm not saying I did a thing. I was just there. Right there in the basement next to her. Now leave me alone, and don't you dare accuse me of falsely confessing anything.

That's exactly what I was thinking/feeling. This IS sad.

Media reports made it sound like he said things to make them think he was claiming to have done it. Turns out almost nothing the MSM originally reported was true.

that is possible, but I am thinking this is wishful thinking on my part.... he will most likely be sent back to the tank in CA, so they know he is not going to be going anywhere for a while. There should be an outrage if CA does not press charges against him on the 5 counts of child pornography. Then we can always hope that maybe a new warrant will be issued on him since his face has been plastered all over the TV he may have done other crimes in other states or even other countries. It is possible that he has harmed some children in the past. (it is hard to think that he has not harmed any children because the guy seems like a classic pedophile.)

time to pop some aspirin and go cook dinner!
I'm still waiting for the DA to make the announcement and explain why they chose to transport him from CA when they could have left him in the tank in CA. I won't be holding my breath though.
