Working with a rescue organization brings a lot of joy and occasional heartbreak. Please pray for my cat Wilby. He is a very special guy. A little less than a year ago, a retired nun found his mother under her porch with a new litter. At first, it seemed like none of the kittens had survived. Wilby was still in his birth sac and was about to be buried when he began to move. He was sent to our organization with his mother where he was eventally weaned and fostered.
Last evening, he became very ill. It is not known at this time what the cause is, but it seems to be neurolgical in nature. He's cheated death once and I ask for your prayers to give him some more time with us. Thank you.
Thank you so much for the good-news update about Wilby!
Squeek is happy too.......
Heart grabbing. More prayers sent for Wilby for a full recovery. Thanks for the update.
Man that is a pretty kid. Glad he pulled through!
Excellent news!
You got it! BTW, I need some prayers too, one of my cats, G.W., has a bad tooth but we are going to get him to the vets when it gets closer to payday. He eats some, but he did lose a little weight since cats with a bad tooth cuts back on heir eating. I’ve seen this before sine a bad tooth make their eating and drinking look clumsy and they chew to one side at times.
Sooo Glad Wilby pulled through!!! My cat looks so similar and it tugged my heart extra more. Thank you God for saving this precious kitty!
Happy Easter Everyone!
So glad to hear this—will keep him on my prayer list for awhile until he’s 100%!
Glad to see he is doing better although I did post my prayers since I do not scroll down before I post. BTW, my G.W. shows interest in eating and I do get him to eat but his bad tooth/teeth get in the way.
Wow, so glad to hear about beautiful Wilby. We will keep thinking about him.
What great news!!! Way to go Wilby...
Glad he was able to be treated. He is so beautiful.
So happy to hear this great outcome!!!! ;)
That is so true about the remaining focus thing. After she died it took me about 1-2 months to grieve voluntarily.
She’s right here sitting in front of my computer, as she always did....”you’re not made out of glass, I can’t see through you” was my famous line.
The first 2 weeks after, I taped her ashes up in the corner of my computer to “get in my way”. I had a hard time letting go, lol.
Handsome boy kitty, please dear God, HEAL him and bring him back to health, you who has created the stars at night, the sun by day. As we get ready to honor your defeating of death and the grave, restore this special kitty to full health. Amen=^..^=
I’m thrilled for you & Wilby!
He’s such a pretty cat.
I have cats and I’d be interested to hear the vet’s ideas on how he thinks Wilby got encephalitis.
Hope you’re all better soon, Wilby!
I’ve been following your Wilby and am so happy for you. He’s such a beauty! His recovery is absolutely fitting for this Easter season!
Very happy to have read the update and Wilby looks GREAT in that picture! :)=^..^=
May he see many more Easters to come! :)=^..^=
Happy Easter!:)=^..^=
