Why did that man’s parents name him “Rachel”?
I heard mental and the caption said mental. I always have the captions on because sometimes I am watching one thing and listening to another.
I lost it at the F-yourself jokes, and still crack-up on the replays. The audacity to put those words into Obies mouth, when we know damn well that is EXACTLY what he’s thinking about Mitt still kills me._________________________________________________________
Those two jokes were like an ice pick sliding between the ribs of Obama’s “Nice Guy” image. Poking through and starting the deflation of the lungs of “He’s a Nice Guy” with little pain, but the damage just keeps building until the collapse
Those subtle lines got across what a small petulant man Obama is better than any picture could. (And yes, I know there are a lot of pictures of angry Obama.)
Libs telling us that Eastwood bombed is like Nancy Pelosi telling us the Tea Party was astro turf and not grass roots...
And, of course, Eastwood will be asked about the convention.
Will put the empty chair out as much as possible this election season, to send a message.
Everything about Eastwood's performance mirrored Obama's presidency; lots of hype and buildup, real excitement at a new and different approach, public adoration at the start followed with some really nervous laughter as nothing he tried seemed to work. Yet, he plowed ahead doing more of the same until people began to think it wasn't working, finally seeming to be relieved once he was gone.
I have posited this view to several friends who don't thinkEastwood is that smart, but I fully believe that he knew exactly what he was doing. He was mirroring Obama's time as president, making sure we all knew that it was OK to let him go.
bingo!
