New polls out this week matching the two presumptive presidential nominees, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, could spell danger for the Democrat even as she appears to be pulling away from Trump in the nationwide head-to-head matchup. Polling from crucial swing states that had previously been controlled by Clinton now appears to be heading back in the direction of the Republican candidate.
What that means for the general election is that, even though Clinton appears to be consolidating her support among voters across the United States, the Electoral College, where the next president will actually be chosen, has started to look more welcoming to Trump.
Specifically, races in Florida and Pennsylvania have tightened, according to new polls, making those states with their 29 and 20 electoral votes respectively now appear winnable for Trump, putting the total of 270 electoral votes needed to secure the presidency closer to his grasp...

while it looks hopeful, remember, that only 4 times (out of 57 contests total) in America’s history has a candidate without the highest number of votes (plurality OR majority) won the electoral college, and the last 3 times (1876, 1888, 2000), the national contest was decided by 3 or fewer percentage points, a margin so small that in most polls, such a national margin would be MoE (most polls have margin of error like 3.5 or 4%). 1824, while an example of popular-electoral divergence, was before the popular vote became widespread in all states 4 years later. That was the only time a decent sized pop margin occurred in an election where the top vote-getter didn’t win the POTUSy.
In other words, Trump’s chances of winning the EC get better if he gets his national vote up.
So what does the electoral map look like now? I’m referring to other states like Colorado, Wisconsin, New Hampshire, Ohio and Nevada. Can Trump win those battleground states?

As an American of color I think Trump will shock the punditry class with the above average percentage of votes he gets from Blacks and Hispanics. To be sure Hillary will still get the bulk of the votes from those two groups, but Trump will do better than expected. Leftist policies are hurting all of us and four to eight years of Hillary is just gonna make things worse.
The “consolidation” of support for Herself is almost entirely in those states that were pretty solidly blue to begin with, and while a large or overwhelming majority may be rolled up in the “blue” parts of the map, the “red” parts of the map or even the “purple” (swing) states, are distinctly building the lead for The Donald.
I have been advocating the split of the territory once known as “the United States of America” into two distinct groupings, based on the “red” and “blue” Congressional districts (not state lines). The “red” part of the map is almost contiguous, while the “blue” portions are fragmented and sometimes at great distances from each other. Those who prefer the command-and-control economic system, would be gathered into the “blue” districts, where they may form whatever cockamamie political organization they desired, be it a hippie commune, or Sharia’s law, or a North Korea type of Communist royalty, or a reinvention of Venezuela, or even little pockets of Aztlan “reconquista” republics.
Only there would be a VERY strictly enforced border between the “red” republic and these sometimes very widely scattered little “blue” republics. Emigration from the red district would be freely encouraged for anyone who had some contention with the reinstituted republic of the heritage of the United States of America as it existed from 1776 to 1964, when it was taken down the very wrong road with LBJ.
Emigration would be one-way, one time and without recourse once the applicant crossed the boundary. Immigration from the “blue” districts to the “red” zone would be very highly restricted, and only a few who would be able to prove they are committed to the ideals and aspirations of the original United States of America would be admitted at all.
I take no heed in any polls right now because Trump hasn’t even begun to start in on this witch yet. That all starts monday, that’s when the evisceration begins and there is absolutely no hope for her in the least. The Clinton criminal cabal is getting exposed baby and there is not a thing she can do about it. She was stupid enough to stay in the race, so here it comes.
As a melanin-challenged American, based upon the stuff my more fortunate friends share, I agree. In all cases, your mouth to God's ear! We need this one or the Left will enslave us all.
There is a voter tsunami brewing. In 2008 about 19 mm voted in Republican primaries. In general about 40 mm. In 2012 26 mm then 58 mm in general. Trump has said more voter than ever before voted this year. Let say 33 mm. Then you are looking at 70 mm in the general. As Trump continues to attack Hillary for being a crook, a liar, a traitor, a thief, incompotent politician and a woman abuser, the MSM won’t be able to protect her. Trump will not back down, will not apologize and ski destroy her. What a wonderful time in America. Our America!!!!!
