Bill and I got to the restaurant around 8:45 and FReepers were already gathering. Talk about confusing, try meeting 30ish people for the first time and everyone has a FReep handle plus a real name, sheesh!
Anyway, we had one long table, and a smaller side table off to the side, in a side room all to ourselves. There were lots of stories about the convention, DEMONstrators, the election, local politics....
WTC911 passed around a photo album of 9/11. Cameras were abundant, so I'm relying on you guys to post pictures on this thread.
In the middle of eating this HUGH & SERIES motorcade went rumbling by just outside our window, traveling north on 8th avenue. We pretty well decided it had to be W, and gave a nice cheer.
There were many different discussions going on during the almost two hours we were there, so I'll end here, and let the other attendees pick this up.

Were they in a blue case? If so, no worries. They're cheapies that I have as a backup in case I'm having trouble with my contacts.
I'll be in Oahu in October. My son is currently working there.
