Kennedy tried to get organized crime to take out Castro and Castro found out about it. Castro hated Kennedy because of the Bay of Pigs and the Cuban Missile Crisis. Oswald visited Cuba just prior to the assasination. Certainly Castro wasn't grieving when Kennedy got shot.

Sorry everyone - Oswald shot him by himself. He took some crazy shots at some judge just a couple of weeks before. I doubt Castro/LBJ/Mafia told Oswald "you go and shoot at some obscure judge for practice and then we will let you handle the Kennedy thing." It has been proven that the magic bullet was a pretty straight shot.

I was in grade school when it happened, but my Mom and Dad firmly believed that Castro had a hand in Kennedy's assassination. My Dad always claimed that the US government covered it up so the political situation wouldn't explode.
