I received this from former freeper donnalyn. It came from JudyB1938 son Victor:
Last Friday mom went in for a routine heart catherization for clogged arteries. The doctor, in his infinite wisdom, decided that she had to have an immediate triple bypass. She recovered, as expected, the next day. Then, on Monday, she has fluid build up around the heart and coded. Her brain was deprived of oxygen for too long and she is now effectively brain dead. She will be taken off of life support tomorrow.

More importantly, JudyB is going home to see our Father and she will get there knowing she's going to be missed here.
What does life support mean in this case? I am sad to hear of Judy's bad condition, and perhaps there is some way she might recover, somehow.
