The game has not changed, we face the same enemy, same challenges. The Beast never dies!

Edited on 05/11/2006 1:43:29 AM PDT by Jim Robinson. [history]

The game has not changed, we face the same enemy, same challenges. The Beast never dies!

President Reagan faced down the Soviets and ended the cold war, but the Beast is still with us. It simply changes form. Whether it appears in the form of Bolshevism, Nazism, fascism, communism, Islamofascism, etc, it is the same enemy: Totalitarianism. The all powerful state.

Today we are fighting Islamic terrorism. It's just another example of the Beast rearing its ugly head in its never-ending quest to destroy freedom. The Beast cannot co-exist with free people nor we with it.

We also see the Beast trying to make inroads into America through radical feminism, homosexualism, abortionism, radical environmentalism, creeping socialism, illegal immigration, etc.

The goal is to demoralize and erode away our will and ability to fight by destroying the traditional family unit, destroying our moral society, denying us our freedom of religion, freedom of speech, right to peaceable assembly, right to keep and bear arms, our right to life and right to self governance. The Beast must rule and must rule with an iron fist. Tyranny, totalitarianism is the game.

While we are at war with an obvious foreign enemy that attacks with fire and bombs, we have another not so obvious enemy here at home that aids and abets the known foreign enemy.

We must not allow this domestic enemy to destroy us from within. The enemy I'm speaking of erodes away our constitution, our traditions, our society. It infiltrates and controls our government departments and agencies at every level. Infiltrates our public institutions, schools, churches, news media, entertainment industry, corporate entities, especially our political parties.

I'm speaking of the old enemy of Marxism/communism, more well known here at home as socialism/liberalism. It uses government enforced tools of radical feminism, homosexualism, radical environmentalism, abortionism, racism, atheism, confiscatory taxation, social security, medicare, welfare, redistributionism, compulsory government education, compulsory unionism, overburdening regulation, and many other forms of government overstepping, expansion, intrusion and abuse.

And I'm directly speaking of the primary American home of socialism/liberalism and the party that champions all of the above isms and includes them in their party platform, and in addition to all of the above also directly aids and abets the foreign enemy: the Democrat Party.

Not to name names, but I'm speaking of Kennedy, Schumer, Clinton, Reid, Pelosi, Waxman, Kerry, Gore, Dean, McKinney, Boxer, Feinstein, Feingold, and the list goes on and on and on. And we'll throw in the McCains and Specters, et al, from our side of the aisle for good measure.

We readily recognize all of the above as enemies of our constitution and enemies of self-governance and freedom and we band together to fight them and their partners in crime, otherwise known as the mainstream media, especially when they willingly and knowingly provide aid and comfort to the foreign enemy.

We recognize them when they throw up the big issues of abortionism, feminism, homsosexualism, environmentalism, redistributionism, and get up close and personal with their in your face perversions.

We recognize them as the enemy when they take away our rights, take away our guns, take our tax dollars, take our families, our children, deprive us of our freedom of religion, freedom of speech, etc.

We recognize them as the enemy when they use the ACLU and other radical anti-freedom legal organizations against us.

We recognize them as the enemy when they use their organized labor unions against us.

We recognize them when they use International ANSWER and other socialist/communist fronts against us.

We recognize the enemy when they use liberal activist judges against us to get around the constitution and or to overrule the will of the people as expressed at the ballot box.

Now what I want to know is, why do we fall to pieces and eat our own when it comes to the issue of illegal immigration? Hmmmmm?

It's the same liberal/socialist/Marxist/communist groups and people that we've been fighting all along. It's the same enemy using the same tools!

The game has not changed! It's the same old enemy!

The radical Marxist/socialists are behind the illegals.

The same radical feminist/homosexualist/abortionist/environmentalist antiwar pinko communist union thug that joins any other leftist protest is right back there helping the illegal immigrant gain entry into America.

And they're using the same divide and conquer techniques. They infiltrate our political parties and organizations. They plant disinformation bombs and sow the seeds of political discontent. They are masters in the use of propaganda and rabble rousing.

Recognize the enemy for what he is and do not allow them to use divisive issues to destroy our conservative movement. We are winning. We must not be sidetracked by an issue that will be solved in due time as we elect more conservative members to our government and continue replacing liberal activist judges with constitutionalists.

The goal is the same as it's always been. We must hold the line and advance our cause. Never willingly give ground to the liberal/socialists! Never retreat! Never surrender!

The Beast must be destroyed!

I'm fighting for folks in the primary who do care about the illegals issue;

If you're looking for a good Republican candidate to help in the Primary Election, check out Randy Graf.

Randy Graf is a true conservative - a Reagan Republican. He is running in Arizona's 8th District to replace RINO leftist, pro-abortion, pro-open borders, pro-amnesty, pro-gay marriage, pro-big government, anti-Border Patrol, pro-UN globalist Jim Kolbe. Graf ran against Kolbe, a powerful Appropriations Committee "Cardinal", 2 years ago and despite being outspent 10-1 he pulled 43% of the vote and actually beat the well-financed, well-entrenched incumbent in my county. Rep. Tom Tancredo is a friend of the campaign and Graf has committed to be a strong ally in Congress as a member of his Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus.

Graf served as the Republican Majority Whip in the State House of Representatives, proved himself with an excellent conservative voting record, he was one of the authors and organizers of the successful Proposition 200 in Arizona (like CA's Prop. 187 and it is law now in AZ), and was also a charter Minuteman and is a keynote speaker at many of their most important events.

Please check him out and see what you can do to help him. He is the kind of Republican candidate that I would love to see in every district challenging the more liberal incumbents. He really needs your help as Kolbe has just endorsed his clone, a man who has a terribly liberal voting record in the Arizona House of Representatives. The Kolbe clone has been endorsed in the past by Planned Parenthood because he enjoys a 100% pro-abortion rating from them. He also betrayed Republicans 2 years ago as he was a member of a leftist cabal of RINOs in the House who banded together to defeat a Republican budget and pass a liberal Democrat budget. Kolbe picked him because he is a carbon copy of him and can be counted on to continue Kolbe's leftist legacy in Congress. Kolbe is turning over his massive fundraising apparatus to this guy to bring in the big business and liberal special interest donations. It's a David vs. Goliath battle all over again.

Go to www.votegraf.com and see what you can do to help out in this critical race to put a real conservative in Congress.

"What good does it do to advance the conservative agenda to sit at home? Sitting doesn't advance anything, sitting just implies inaction. The greatest battle warriors throughtout history never "sat at home" during the heat of battle."

Respectfully, I agree with that statement. However, voting for RINOS is just a very slow way to lose any battle. Look what we get when we fail to hold a politician to a conservative agenda. If Specter and McCain don't make you puke with regret, then you will get more of them just because they put an "R" after their names.

I just cannot support a RINO anymore, nor can I ever vote for the democrat party, so give me someone to vote for instead of someone to vote against and I am there. No more RINOS, none, zip, nada. Give me a conservative who speaks common sense, stands for something and knows the enemy when they appear.

What is poisoning the well is the vitriol and anger coming from the 1% of right wingers who hate bush. IMO, cindy sheehan, howard dean and the rest of the left wing nuts are killing that party with their anger. I don't want the right wing nuts to do the same to the repubs.

Good point, imho.

Thanks.

You're right. The ever-shrinking bases that both political parties can claim will show up. About 42% of the adult population bothered to show up in 2002.

That percentage will likely drop this year, continuing the trend that has been going on more or less since the 1960's
- - -

Sobering points.

I think the authentic Christians must get their fellow congregants out who will vote conservative values and people or the nearest thereto. We must do better than we have ever before.

I could easily imagine Shrillery closing Mosques because of the war on terror . . . and the next day--closing all churches under the same excuse.

Jim; you have your finger on it !

It is the Beast; the Evil one, haSatan

The one who who indwells all the empty vessels

that do not know Y'shua as L-rd and Creator of the Universe.

The Beast will be destroyed when Y'shua comes to rule and reign.

Isaiah 2:2 Now it will come about that In the last days
The mountain of the house of YHvH Will be established
as the chief of the mountains, And will be raised above the hills;
And all the nations will stream to it.

Isaiah 2:3 And many peoples will come and say,
"Come, let us go up to the mountain of YHvH ,
To the house of the G-d of Jacob;
That He may teach us concerning His ways
And that we may walk in His paths."
For the law will go forth from Tzion
And the word of YHvH from Jerusalem.

Isaiah 2:4 And He (Y'shua) will judge between the nations,
And will render decisions for many peoples;
And they will hammer their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not lift up sword against nation,
And never again will they learn war.

Isaiah 2:5 Come, house of Jacob, and let us walk in the light of YHvH .

Yes, elections are coming.

2 primary efforts on my part are:

1. Get as many moderates and liberals in my social network who tend to vote for DIMRATS to change at least in terms of FEDERAL votes and as many other candidates as possible.

2. Get as many conservatives to the polls to vote as possible--particularly those who tend to chronically stay home. Also, my church has a lot of hispanics--to try and get them to influence as many of their cohorts as possible toward conservatives.

Good morning.

My efforts are directed towards the Sheriff, DA, Treasurer and Assessor races. There are also two education positions on the ballot and a seat on the Superior Court.

I'll spend time on the phone, trying to influence the elections of who goes after the money and hands it out, who can enforce the rules and who can punish those who don't want to pay. CCW is a hot button issue for me.

I don't think it matters who gets the schools positions, but we've got to try.

"It depends on the individuals involved and the context. In the college adjunct office . . . probably 85-95% of my colleagues are flaming liberals. Some of them give pause and ponder a bit more--evidently BECAUSE of my strident off-the-wall polemics."

I won't deny that for some people, strident polemics work. My argument is that for every one that is persuaded by such techniques, many more are turned off by them.

Interesting that you work in a university environment. That would most likely give you exposure to street preachers. You know the ones I'm talking about. The ones screeching into megaphones at the public about their interpretation of scripture. I'm sure that if you were to ask them, they would be able to point with pride to the handful of individuals that they've converted as a result of their ministry.

But if you watch, you'll see that the majority of people ignore their tirades and are repelled by them. Since the street preachers don't seem to recognize their ineffectiveness, they continue with their ministry, and the bulk of the audience they're trying to reach ignore them. The street preachers simply become part of the background noise.

That's what much of the ongoing political tirade in America has become. Background noise. Interesting to the few, ignored by the majority.

"I think the authentic Christians must get their fellow congregants out who will vote conservative values and people or the nearest thereto. We must do better than we have ever before."

Agreed. But we have to do something else: Evangelize. Not by screaming at people an seeking to correct what we perceive to be the "errors of their ways", but by learning to break bread and talk with them. Even if they don't agree with us.

The Gospel can be read many ways. Based on your posts, I assume that you read it as I do: as religious truth. It can also be read in a very different way; as political guide and manifesto.

Reflect for a moment if you will on the historical and political truth of the Gospel. What ultimately happened to the empire?

"Can you explain to me how turning the Congress over to Democrats will help conservatives?"

I could, but you're not really interested in an explanation. What you do want is to persuade conservatives--true conservatives--to stick with the RNC program and keep voting the same idiots back into office even though most of them have demonstrated they cannot be trusted with a conservative agenda.

What ought to be obvious even to the party loyalists by now is that we're not going to play that game any longer.

I really do understand about background noise and turning peoiple off.

I'm enough of a bird of rare plumage, it has been as easy as merely walking silently into a room to turn some people off. I've had folks I've never met arrive at a party late, walk in the door, scan the room, look at me and leave the party for good. I think some spiritual things may be going on in such cases but I'm just saying I have a lot of painful experiences about turning people off.

However, I have learned that it works even worse for me to try and be what I'm not. I'm not conventional. I'm not average. I'm not passive. I'm not milque toast. I'm not always as winsome as I'd like. At least I can be some, now. I'm not as wise as I'd like. At least some people claim I am, by God's Grace more often than I think I am--much more often than decades past in my more ornery days.

I'm not always full of delightful-to-hear words, phrases, sentences. My words, maybe too often still, tend to be more 'for the jugular' sort of variety--full of fiestiness, pointedness, satire, startling words, phrases and word pictures.

Thankfully, I can sometimes write differently but it's very hard work for me to write differently and takes a great deal more time.

As I have P & MMed to God about such, He has persistently noted that He made me and conditioned me to be the way I am for His purposes--to get on down the road with the task at hand and quit whining about it.

So, I have ended up with a lot of sympathy for street preachers. I'm thankful I don't feel called to be one but I believe they have a place that is not yet obvious. I believe that both for them and for many of the things I've said to thousands of people--OUR STARTLING, pointed, fiesty, off-the-wall sorts of statements will be much easier for Holy Spirit to recall to their minds when the proof starts falling out of the sky and springing up all around them--the truth of what we have asserted that's accurate.

In short, I don't expect a lot of people to go "Right On!" now. But I believe--and have found over the last 3 decades--that folks go away and many things haunt them from what I've said. They come back 1, 3, 5, 10 YEARS later and thank me for being so pointed, fiesty, even for being so off the wall--that what I said was memorable and worked good in their lives even though they were angry and hostile to it at first and maybe for an extended time thereafter.

I don't know where the line of wisdom is and I don't think it's static. I'm trying to be conformed more to the image of Christ. But He rather persistently and often upset folks by saying things they took as off-the-wall, too. I prefer, personally, to be hearable from the first syllable. But, I'm not my own. I've been bought with a price. And if part of my role is to be a 'fool for Jesus,' so be it. I'll take that over being an intellectual prim, proper and prissy person headed to hell in a hand basket, any day.

I take your exhortation seriously and see the merit in it. And, I have been trying more and more with some success to put things more hearably by a wider audience. I just know that underneath all that kosherness is another part of me much more akin to street preachers--and that often still, that part of me is/feels compelled to write/speak in very fiesty, pointed even off-the-wall terms. And, that that will have to be OK.

Christ Himself noted that He deliberately spoke in riddles lest the evil rulers hear and understand. There are mysteries there which I don't pretend to fully understand. But there is also clearly a point that some folks deserve to not understand because of their willful rebellion and pig-headedness. And, that I'm not to lose a lot of sleep or a LOT of tears over such folk, at some point.

Goodness . . . another vulnerable autobiographical response. Guess I'm feeling very introspective today.

Thanks for your kind reply.

Agreed.

The empire was eventually consumed, in a sense, by Christianity. And, to a large degree, that was the undoing of a lot of the best of Christianity to become so deeply entrenched and institutionalized.

I agree about chatting and breaking bread with folks. That's what I largely try to do when possible with my colleagues at the college.

At other times, I'm more of a hit and run driver tossing THOUGHT BOMBS out which I trust Holy Spirit to make use of over long periods of time.
