THE CLINTON-FOLEY NEXUS: A THEORY
part 2

ahm Emanuel, ballet dancer, "operations researcher," "pit bull," 1 clinton operator still 2 -- Chicago pol 3 in tights meets the clinton jackboot 28 -- appeared on This Week with George Stephanopoulos last Sunday. While it was not the stagily self-conscious performance of bill clinton on Fox two weeks earlier, 4 like clinton's performance, it was embarrassingly amateurish by today's standards. 5 Stylistically, as well as functionally.

The pirouette and grand jeté were clumsy, obvious--primitive leftovers from the churlish clinton years. 29 Rather than spin us silly with non sequitur, ("never saw 'em"), Emanuel instead convinced us that he... along with the clintons... were the likely prime movers of the Foley hit job. 6

When it comes to slicing and dicing his Republican foes, Emanuel applies a Chicago pol's sensibility that recalls that famous Untouchables line: "He pulls a knife, you pull a gun; he sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue." Connecticut Representative Rosa DeLauro describes Emanuel as a "reflection of Chicago politics, ward politics. It's local, ethnic. You're not in a tea party." Colleague Ed Markey, a veteran House member from Massachusetts, says simply, "He's not a political romantic."

WHAT WE KNOW

  • We know Emanuel meets with clinton to talk strategy at least once a month. He told us so. 7

  • We know aids of top Democrats 8 and CREW 22 (the Soros-funded Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington) shopped the Foley story with the media months before it broke.

  • We know there is a clinton-CREW connection.

CREW was founded by Democrat activists Norm Eisen and Louis Mayberg.  Eisen is an attorney.  Mayberg is president and co-founder of the Bethesda, MD mutual fund management firm ProFund Advisors LLC.

CREW's 990 IRS filing for 2001 lists its three founding directors as Louis Mayberg, Mark Penn and Daniel Berger.  Mayberg and Berger are prominent Democrat donors. Mark Penn is a top Democrat strategist and pollster.

Penn played a decisive role in Bill Clinton's 1996 campaign, and served as head of message and strategy for Hillary Clinton's 2000 Senate campaign. Penn is a fellow of Simon Rosenberg's New Politics Institute (NPI), an important Shadow Party think tank.  He is president and co-founder of the polling firm Penn & Schoen Associates.
    23

  • We know when the clintons were in the White House, they had in their possession the raw FBI files of almost 1000 Republicans. 9

  • We know the clintons reflexively destroy anyone in their way.

  • We know the clintons routinely employ a 'secret police' to investigate the 'enemy' and intimidate them into submission. 10

"Crucial to this protective wall was the secret police, a group of private detectives hired to protect hillary and 'Saturday night bill.' Their tactics included digging up dirt on women who might be linked to bill in order to cow them into silence. There is even some evidence of possible physical intimidation."

    HEAR DICK MORRIS

"I got the letters from Pellicano to these women intimidating them. I had tapes of conversations from Pellicano to the women. I got handwritten letters from the women."

[Pellicano played a critical role in Mr. Clinton's 1992 presidential campaign by "suppressing" "inconvenient" accounts from several women, by concocting fraudulent "proof" (later discredited) that Gennifer Flowers doctored the damning tape of clinton, and again inside the clinton operation in January 1998, four days after the Monica Lewinsky story broke, to falsely paint Monica as simply a lying stalker, a claim later discredited by clinton's own DNA.]

There is reason to believe that he is a rapist ("You better get some ice on that," Juanita Broaddrick says he told her concerning her bit lip), and that he bombed a country to distract attention from legal difficulties arising from his glandular life, and that... [f]urthermore, the bargain that he and his wife call a marriage refutes the axiom that opposites attract. Rather, she, as much as he, perhaps even more so, incarnates Clintonism

    GEORGE WILL

The rape took place while Bill was running for governor. Hillary came bursting into the room to talk to two people, one of whom I personally know. She said "You won't believe what this [expletive] did now. He tried to rape some b*tch." It was the job of these two to squelch the story.

Given the silence from the West Wing, Mrs. Broaddrick this week sought answers from Hillary Clinton, whose telescopic feminism apparently sees injustice to women everywhere except the kind which occurs closer to home.

In a letter to Mrs. Clinton recalling their meeting shortly after the reported assault occurred, she wondered about the significance of Mrs. Clinton's words to her at that time. Thank you, Mrs. Broaddrick says Mrs. Clinton told her, for "everything you do for Bill."

"What did you mean, Hillary?" her letter continued. "Were you referring to my keeping quiet about the assault I had suffered at the hands of your husband only two weeks before? Were you warning me to keep quiet?"

The not-so-subtle implication of the letter is that Mrs. Clinton is, in fact, her husband's enabler. Dealing with her husband's promiscuity and worse might keep her from dealing with the important issues facing the people of New York, namely her candidacy. One might call it a Faustian bargain except that even Mephistopheles might not lower himself to sign such a deal....

I remember it as though it was yesterday. I only wish that it were yesterday and maybe there would still be time to do something about what your husband, Bill Clinton, did to me. There was a political rally for Mr. Clinton's bid for governor of Arkansas. I had obligated myself to be at this rally prior to my being assaulted by your husband in April, 1978. I had made up my mind to make an appearance and then leave as soon as the two of you arrived. This was a big mistake, but I was still in a state of shock and denial. You had questioned the gentleman who drove you and Mr. Clinton from the airport. You asked him about me and if I would be at the gathering. Do you remember? You told the driver, "Bill has talked so much about Juanita", and that you were so anxious to meet me. Well, you wasted no time. As soon as you entered the room, you came directly to me and grabbed my hand. Do you remember how you thanked me, saying "we want to thank you for everything that you do for Bill". At that point, I was pretty shaken and started to walk off. Remember how you kept a tight grip on my hand and drew closer to me? You repeated your statement, but this time with a coldness and look that I have seen many times on television in the last eight years. You said, "Everything you do for Bill". You then released your grip and I said nothing and left the gathering.

What did you mean, Hillary? Were you referring to my keeping quiet about the assault I had suffered at the hands of your husband only two weeks before? Were you warning me to continue to keep quiet? We both know the answer to that question.

Yes, I can answer Brit Hume's question. You are the same Hillary that you were twenty years ago. You are cold, calculating and self-serving. You cannot tolerate the thought that you will soon be without the power you have wielded for the last eight years. Your effort to stay in power will be at the expense of the state of New York. I only hope the voters of New York will wake up in time and realize that Hillary Clinton is not an honorable or an honest person.

I will end by asking if you believe the statements I made on NBC Dateline when Lisa Myers asked if I had been assaulted and raped by your husband?

Or perhaps, you are like Vice-President Gore and did not see the interview.

    DO YOU REMEMBER?
AN OPEN LETTER TO HILLARY CLINTON
    BY JUANITA BROADDRICK
    SUNDAY OCT 15, 2000

  • We know the clintons abuse power to destroy their foes. 11

  • And we know the Foley hit job hit the fan a bit too early for its apparent purpose, but it materialized just in time to knock clinton terrorism failure 24, 25 off the front page and out of the voter's mind.12

PAYBACK

If Rahm Emanuel and the clintons orchestrated the Foley hit job--and circumstantial evidence suggests that they did--then it is they who sacrificed "the children" for power... (and treasure: Rahm racked up 18 mil in less than two years post-clinton, a stash he, himself characterizes as a pre-emptive supplementation of the projected paltry (i.e., disclosed, real-time, legal) take as a politico; 13 it is unclear exactly when the clintons amassed their fortune. 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 )

So, Emanuel was hired by Bruce Wasserstein, a man who has contributed over $200,000 to the Democratic Party since 1990 (see campaign disclosure information here, here, here, and here), and subsequently made about $18 million in less than three years while working for Wasserstein's firm.

They took care of their boy. It is so Chicago.
26

WHAT TO DO?

  • Should Rahm Emanuel and hillary clinton, therefore, resign?

  • Should they be voted out of office?

  • Have they committed any criminal acts?

  • What exactly are the Soros 20 and Simon & Schuster 21 connections, anyway? (And are they criminal?)

  • And isn't the War on Terror and the clinton-Democrat utter failure to confront terrorism 27 the only issue that matters in the end?

Rahm Emanuel and the clintons are attempting, as is their wont, to exploit sex to distract the voter. (A case can be made that sex-as-decoy was the clintons' salvation in 1998.)

Voters across America, as well as voters in New York and Illinois, must focus on the crucial issue of our time, the War on Terror. They must not fall prey to ruthless and dangerous demagogues.

'KILL BILL'
THE CLINTON-FOLEY NEXUS: A THEORY

by Mia T, 10.05.06

he timing of the Foley revelations is a bit odd. If the intended beneficiary of the political dirty trick was the Democrats, surely the perpetrators would have sprung it closer to Election Day. A month is an eternity in politics (irrespective of the fact that it is the pundit class' favorite hedge).

TEMPUS ACTUM

If not the Democrats then who? Who benefits from the odd timing? And who has the means, the motive, the opportunity--and the m.o.-- 1, 2 to pull off this dirty trick?

WHO BENEFITS?

The clintons had been hemorrhaging ever since the first week in September when the husband, by attempting to quash the ABC movie, "The Path to 9/11," managed to accomplish in mere days what his opponents failed for years to effectuate, namely, to focus the electorate simultaneously on the clinton jackboot 3, 4 and on the clinton failure to confront terrorism. 5

If the story had legs, continued clinton stupidity and arrogance made them sprint. And as if dispatching the tired clinton scold, the tired clinton spinners and the tired clinton playbook weren't enough to keep story on page one of The New York Times above the fold, clinton brought his tired clinton shtick to FoxNews Sunday.

'KILL BILL'

What the country finally learned--fittingly on the fifth anniversary of 9/11--was that clinton didn't simply fail to kill bin Laden.

Clinton refused to kill or even capture bin Laden.

Clinton refused to kill or even capture bin Laden even as he pretended to go after bin Laden.

Clinton refused to kill or even capture bin Laden even as he pretended to go after bin Laden because killing or even capturing bin Laden would have denied clinton the Nobel Peace Prize and he couldn't let us know he valued the prize more than keeping this country safe. 6, 7

VIRTUAL SURREALITY

A virtual kill of bin Laden seems apt. One should never expect more of bill clinton. And there is a certain symmetry, a perfect parry for clinton's 'virtual obsession.' 9

Hypocrisy abounds in this Age of clinton, a Postmodern Oz rife with constitutional deconstruction and semantic subversion, a virtual surreality polymarked by presidential alleles peccantly misplaced or, in the case of Jefferson, posthumously misappropriated.

The Other Nixon
Mia T

With everyone beginning to understand the dynamics of the clinton failure to fight terrorism, 8 prospects appeared even bleaker for the quondam shoo-in and for her husband's legacy, to which said prospects are inextricably bound.

As long as the voters believe the clintons willfully failed to kill or even capture bin Laden--and worse, that they did so for reasons of self-aggrandizement--there can be no scenario in which they recapture the White House.

Hence, bill clinton's 'virtual kill' on Fox Sunday morning.

Although "kill him" must have polled really, really well, the interview didn't help the clintons; the story remained on page one... and the hemorrhaging continued...

That is, until the Foley scandal hit the fan....

VIRTUAL KILL
THE CHRIS WALLACE-BILL CLINTON INTERVIEW DECONSTRUCTED

by Mia T, 9.27.06

"Mr. bin Laden used to live in Sudan. He was expelled from Saudi Arabia in '91 and he went to the Sudan.

We'd been hearing that the Sudanese wanted America to start dealing with them again. They released him [bin Laden].

At the time, '96, he had committed no crime against America, so I did not bring him here because we had no basis on which to hold him, though we knew he wanted to commit crimes against America.

So I pleaded with the Saudis to take him, 'cause they could have; but they thought it was a hot potato. They didn't and that's how he wound up in Afghanistan."

I Nixed Bin Laden Extradition Offer

"I remember exactly what happened. Bruce Lindsey said to me on the phone, 'My God, a second plane has hit the tower.' And I said, 'Bin Laden did this.' that's the first thing I said. He said, 'How can you be sure?' I said 'Because only bin Laden and the Iranians could set up the network to do this and they [the Iranians] wouldn't do it because they have a country in targets. Bin Laden did it.'

I thought that my virtual obsession 2 with him was well placed and I was full of regret that I didn't get him."

"In this interdependent world, we should still have a preference for peace over war....

But sometimes we would have these debates where people would say, if I didn't take some military action this very day, people would look down their nose at America and think we were weak.  And I always thought of Senator Fulbright.... 6

So anytime somebody said in my presence, 'Hey, if you don't do this, people will think you're weak,' I always asked the same question for eight years, 'Can we kill 'em tomorrow?'

I don't think we can bring 'em back tomorrow, but can we kill 'em tomorrow?  If we can kill them tomorrow, then we're not weak.... 1

I learned that as a 20-year-old kid watching Bill Fulbright.  Listening."

The president seems to be able, the former president seems to be able to deny facts with impunity. Bin Laden is alive today because Mr. Clinton, Mr. Sandy Berger, and Mr. Richard Clarke refused to kill him. That's the bottom line. And every time he says what he said to Chris Wallace on Fox, he defames the CIA especially, and the men and women who risk their lives to give his administration repeated chances to kill bin Laden."

... [T]he fact of the matter is that the Bush Administration had one chance that they botched, and the Clinton Administration had eight to ten chances that they refused to try. At least at Tora Bora our forces were on the ground. We didn't push the point. But it's just, it's an incredible kind of situation for the American people over the weekend to hear their former president mislead them."

It isn't that they can't see the solution. It is that they can't see the problem.

G. K. Chesterton

... While America appears not to be ready for a female president under any circumstances, the post-9/11 realities pose special problems for a female presidential candidate. Add to these the problems unique to missus clinton. The reviews make the mistake of focusing on the problems of the generic female presidential candidate running during ordinary times.

These are not ordinary times. America is waging the global War on Terror; the uncharted territory of asymmetric netherworlds is the battlefield; the enemy is brutal, subhuman; the threat of global conflagration is real.

Defeating the enemy isn't sufficient. For America to prevail, she must also defeat a retrograde, misogynous mindset. To successfully prosecute the War on Terror, it is essential that the collective patriarchal islamic culture perceives America as politically and militarily strong. Condi Rice excepted, this requirement presents an insurmountable hurdle for any female presidential candidate, and especially missus clinton, historically antimilitary--(an image, incidentally, that is only enhanced today by her clumsy, termagant parody of Thatcher), forever the pitiful victim, and, according to Dick Morris, "the biggest dove in the clinton administration."

It is ironic that had the clintons not failed utterly to fight terrorism... not failed to take bin Laden from Sudan... not failed repeatedly to decapitate a nascent, still stoppable al Qaeda... the generic female president as a construct would still be viable... missus clinton's obstacles would be limited largely to standard-issue clintonisms: corruption, abuse, malpractice, malfeasance, megalomania, rape and treason... and, in spite of Juanita Broaddrick, or perhaps because of her, Rod Lurie would be reduced to perversely hawking the "First Gentleman" instead of the "Commander-in-Chief."

AN OPEN LETTER TO TIM ROBBINS, DAVID GEFFEN, CHRIS MATTHEWS, MAUREEN DOWD + JEANINE PIRRO

RE: a not-so-modest proposal concerning hillary clinton

Dear Concerned Americans,

Hillary Clinton's revisionist tome notwithstanding, 'living history' begets a certain symmetry. It is in that light that I make this not-so-modest proposal on this day, exactly 64 years after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

The context of our concern today--regardless of political affiliation--is Iraq and The War on Terror, but the larger fear is that our democracy may not survive.

We have the requisite machines, power and know-how to defeat the enemy in Iraq and elsewhere, but do we have the will?

In particular, do we have the will to identify and defeat the enemy in our midst?

Answerable to no one, heir apparent in her own mind, self-serving in the extreme, Hillary Clinton incarnates this insidious new threat to our survival.

What we decide to do about Missus Clinton will tell us much about what awaits us in these perilous new times.

As much as Foley needed to be removed from office, it is also important, as you have said, to remember the Democrats are trying to exploit Foley's behavior for political gain.

The Democrats have had their share of misbehavior, especially that of der Schlickmeister, William Judas Clinton. The reason the Democrats don't seem to think Clinton's misbehavior was reprehensible, is because Clinton is a Democrat.

It's "Flight of the Bumblebee." I chose it because it mirrors the frantic affect of Rahm Emanuel and because of its context in the Rimsky-Korsakov opera, i.e., changing into an insect in order to achieve one's goal.

Said another way, according to the Democrats, (and I'm sorry to say, Christopher Shays), a rapist is a fit president.

I think the clintons' failure to confront terrorism for 8 years... and their reasons for not doing so... proves this to be a false premise.

Oh, if only Juanita Broadrick had spoken up when the rape occurred instead of protecting the Clintons, and her own career and livelihood as well. Oh, if only, someone, somewhere along the way, when the Clintons were only small pimples on the face of politics, had spoken up and spared the country a full-blown case of Clinton political acne. Now, they have been in a position to have all those FBI files, and I have to wonder whether or not anyone in any position to stop them is ever going to be able to stand up and speak up AT THE RIGHT TIME. I think maybe Vince Foster intended to do so, but he met an untimely and strange demise as did Ron Brown - and a whole bunch of other people in positions to expose their dealings. - Clinton is such a dad gum phony, and I cannot for the life of me understand all the swooning and cooing that has been lavished on this puerile, infantile, immature sexually, little sucky toy baby.

Mia -- in between running in and out and doing other things, I tried to follow your narrative.

So bottom line, you think the Foley flap is something Hildebeast and Slick ginned up to get the focus off Bill's bleed-out on (non)anti-terrorism in the 90's?

That he went through Rahm and the crew to get someone to finger Foley, the timing keyed not to the election, as people assume, but to the Chris Wallace interview that Slick tried to turn into a Bush 41 Moment (recalling Poppy's ambush of Dan Rather) but didn't carry off with the swing electorate?

I had heard the DUmmie brief, that Slick did it "on purpose" to rally the 'Rat zombies. Other people who saw it thought Slick was out-of-control, and Middle America may have had the same impression. Is that your take on the timing on Foley?

My thinking is this:
The clinton machine was planning to spring the Foley hit closer to the election to maximize its effect and minimize the probability of mitigation by the GOP or random events.

But then "The Path to 9/11" and Chris Wallace started the clinton 9/11 malpractice and malfeasance story... and clinton's stupid actions and reactions to each only caused the story to grow. Exponentially.

At that point panic gripped the clinton camp and the clintons decided to release the Foley hit piece early. They had nothing else to stop the hemorrhaging and to hell with a Democrat majority. (As a matter of fact, an argument can be made that it would be better for hillary in 2008 if the Ds do NOT win control of either house.)

Without a doubt, everything that happens within the Democrat party gets cleared by the senatrix and Billy Jeff via their "people." Everything. Anyone not following those rules, I'm sure, is finished career-wise -- if they are lucky. The ones who get close to the inner sanctum and then don't follow the rules are blackmailed into submission or wind up on the infamous Friends of the Clintons list. I have not one single doubt that is how it is.

And it cracks me up how Hillary just "disappears" from the media attention when these "bombs" are going off. More times these days than not, she remains silent - oh, such the person of character and integrity; meanwhile the rest of the Rats are paraded in front of the cameras to take the negative fall if one is to arise. She is one vile and cunning human being, and she won't let anyone stand in her way. She'll use your coffin as her step-ladder, and don't you ever assume otherwise.

excellent post.

It is surreal that some people think these two serial abusers of women and power are fit for office. What is wrong with those people?

Attrition will eventually fix the hold the clintons have via Filegate. But we don't have the time to wait for that to happen.

We must begin to elect people of ability and character to lead this country. We must vote out the professional pols and elect citizen politicians. (Anyone for whom 'govern' is a career choice is, by definition, unqualified for the job.)

Yeah, I see your point. If they win control of the House now, how do Beast and Pelosi credibly restrain the Deaniacs from using the power of the purse to deepsix the WoT and force the President to bring all our troops home, leaving NATO, the Iraqis, and PM Karzai's government in the lurch? Musharraf would be dead within weeks of a 'Rat demarche, and we'd be looking at running the clock down to the fulfilment of Osama's "American Hiroshima" scenario.

That would put Beast in a bind before she had the thing she wanted, with which to do anything about all of this.

The left-wingers could conceivably wreck our future even before she got the nomination, thereby imperiling her run.
