Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

I sympathize with wanting to keep Hillary out of the whitehouse.

But doing it by voting in a ‘Hillary Lite’ is not a ‘win’ but a ‘compromise’ of Conservative principals.

If that is going to be the standard of the GOP, then the GOP is dead. Or will be shortly.

Standing up for principals, at the sacrifice of some temporary loss, is better than compromising those principals for a temporary gain.

Isn’t the Wii great? I got mine last November when it first came out. It’s a blast.

X-ian is a word intended as an insult to Jesus Christ. Those who use it are generally not atheists, as they acknowledge the existence of Jesus Christ. They are deliberately defying God’s authority. They serve another master.

Narses...you're repeating what I've posted numerous times in here. Abortion has cost the government possibly 130 million taxpayers since Roe v Wade...figuring that those aborted in the 70s would be parents today with multiple children.

IMO, it is the #1 reason why illegals are ignored today.

Cheers!

X’ians are the Christians what x’mas is to Christmas. Plastic and phony. And all Christians are not x’ians, nor is the celebration of Christmas a phony event.

What is needed is reform.

Society will spend about $100K on the child regardless of the status of that child’s parent’s status. Unless we do such things as end taxpayer funded NEA controlled institutions known as public school, we need to define an end product. That product should be a student who has ata bear minimum, the ability to work with computers, logic, and language (Englisg only.) Those are minimum of what they will need to have a shot at becoming a net benefit to society.

For $500, Society get’s only death, and no chance of a return on investment.

I fall in the category where society probably spent on me than my parents were able to contribute. I am now a net benfit to society. Cheaper is not always better.

And yet your “pro-life patriot” supported a NARAL supporting, draft-evading, mob-connected serial adulterer. Darn. Sorry about that.

Well, step number one will be building a database of his quotes, speeches, transcripts, video clips, etc. We’re looking for the words straight out of the horse’s mouth (so to speak).

Next will be a database of his actual deeds and record throughout his public life. And while doing this we’ll be cataloging and indexing all the news articles we can find that document his liberalness, corruption, and unconstitutional abuses.

We’ll also start uncovering his corruption and hidden business dealings that he’s been carrying on even as an elected public official and that’s made him and his partners a ton of money off his government contacts, etc (and no one’s really delved into this aspect yet - as he’s kept his financial dealings off the table to this point and the press hasn't brought it up - why is that?).

We can do all of this on FR under our charter as a conservative discussion site, but at some point there will have to be another entity involved which FR will not be part of. This will have to a registered entity ala the Swift Boat Vets that can raise funds to put together a national ad campaign to introduce the truth about Rudy to the nation.

Hopefully, there’s one or more already out there, but if not one will have to be formed and up and running as quickly as possible.

Rudy Giuliani is about to be Swift Boat Vetted right outta here!

I'm standing up for conservative principles. Absolutely, and completely.

You will never find, in my 58,000 posts a single word that doesn't.

"Vote for Hill & Bill, a 3rd party candidate or sit on your hands(like too many did in the last election)."

Yet another "What Primary Election?" voice chirps.

I hope you don’t mind my using your ideas then. I actually read them in the Wall Street Journal, an article/opinion entitled “The Hand That Rocks The Cradle”.

“Aren’t we getting a little hysterical!!Granted the man isn’t perfect. What’s the alternative?”

The alternative is getting behind conservative candidates now and keeping a liberal republican from getting the nomination while we still can.

Instead, members here are actively promoting the most liberal republican in the race, trying to spin or deny his record, and attacking a potential conservative entrant into the race (FDT) in an effort to bolster their favorite RINO.

This is a nasty division. And it has to be resolved. The Democrats always insist that we fight on their terms, using their jargon, and white gloves. Then they release their media hounds with the intent to tear us to pieces. They give no quarter. Neither should we.

You are a military man, by your handle. This is basic training for all of us. We have to be hard and focused for the coming battle. And we must have a general that won’t lead us into enemy traps.
