No. Really. You're kidding me. Barack Obama actually told that Joe the Plumber guy that he wants to "spread the wealth around." What, did Obama just get done reading the Wikipedia entry on Huey "Share the Wealth" Long or something? Was he somehow channeling that left-wing populist from the Depression? Talk about playing into the most extreme stereotype of your party, that it is infested with socialists.
A while back I chatted with a University of Chicago professor who was a frequent lunch companion of Obama's. This professor said that Obama was as close to a full-out Marxist as anyone who has ever run for president of the United States.

Well after the failed Annenberg Challenge, Chicago Mayor Daley has Ayers in his employ as a advisor for education issues. Hugo Chavez personally appears with Billy Terror at an educational forum in his socialist haven. Daley apparently does view Ayers' achievements as the catastrophic waste of $100m that we traditional education-oriented folks do. Gee, now why would that be?
The $100m was chicken feed for an elite that would, in just several years, help to defeat US capitalism, remove the US as a potent military force, and usher in Marxism.

An unpleasant truth of conservative politics in America:
Not all whites are conservative, but...
The vast majority of conservatives are white.
By 2042 (the latest estimate, which perhaps may occur sooner), Euro-Americans will shrink into the minority as a portion of the American population. And, as their numbers decline, so do their political persuasions. Of those persuasions, the most notable is conservatism itself.
As the nonwhite demographic of America grows, the political leanings of those non-Euros - and the politicians they embrace - will more resemble those of the countries they have come from, rather than this one. Combine this with a dumbing-down of a large-enough cohort of the _Euro_ population, and the writing is on the wall: elections are only going to grow harder and harder for conservatives to win in the years to come.
Thus America is on the cusp of electing an American version of Hugo Chavez.
Recall if you will a scene from Arthur Penn’s film “Little Big Man”, about the sole white survivor of Custer’s Last Stand. The demographics are devastating for the Republican Party. Dick Morris commented on this a few years ago.
I forget the exact numbers,,,,but the aggregate numbers of blacks (93%+ voting democratic) are increasing at twice the rate of whites.....the Hispanic population (voting 70% democratic) (birth rate and immigration) is about three times the white rate,,,,and the muslim increase (again, voting 70% democratic) which I forget the approximate numbers, is again increasing at a greater rate.
The future of this country is a 'sharp move to the left'--the only thing open to debate is how fast and how sharply that movement occurs.
